Part 1: ntcc Missionaries Suffer Poverty While ntcc Board Members Live In Luxury

Pagpalain kayo ng Diyos! - God Bless You!

Please think about this video the next time the ntcc leadership tries to offer some lame excuse for their lack of financial accountability. Think about the lifestyles of the board members who live in luxury while the ntcc missionaries report unbelievable financial hardship, such as:
Rev. and Sis. Mackert ... found a place, 9 feet by 14 feet [9'x14'] and one bathroom. It is on the 6th floor and there is no elevator. The last place they had stayed, they had to share a common bathroom with the other tenants! Yikes! This place has their very own private bathroom, although the Rev. shared there is no seat on the throne, and no way to attach one….

Meanwhile,
"the building goes on in Goshen" -- Which is ntcc code talk and bragging -- "Look at us, we are building lots of buildings in Graham, Washington! We are winning!' Blah, blah, blah
Yup, ntcc has a really nice cult compound called the Bonco where rodger w. davis, who supposedly retired back in 2004, lives in a $1.1 million dollar (Yikes!) mansion owned by the 'non-profit' (Yikes!) ntcc... Here's a picture of the davis palace:

Da davises' Domain Valued at $1,100,000.00 and built for a non-profit retiree who allegedly retired in 2004.
Hmmmnnn...  'BONCO!'

And  kekel has his second mansion, third house, this one built "behind the fence" of the ntcc's Bonco compound in Graham, Washington, right next door to da'-da' davis' palace.  Here's a picture of kekels' kastle:

kekels' kastle next door to da'-da' davis' domain on da Bonco !!

Looks like davis and kekel love their mansions more than they love God.  *Ahem.*  Right?  Right!  Sound familiar?  Uh, Yup!  Uh, Duh!

One person shared that tanya kekel was complaining about having to downsize because this current castle has a smaller kitchen and smaller walk-in closet than the last mansion she lived in (off 145th in Graham). Might we consider that the Mackerts lived in a 9' x 14' space that was probably smaller than only one of tk's walk-in closets!

You see in ntcc when they say the building goes on in Goshen, they are saying, "Oooh!  Look at us!  We are so wealthy.  We've built more mansions for us feudal lords and more rental properties for the serfs, the slaves with "strong backs and weak minds"; that way they can generate more income for us while they clean our mansions for free for us."

But God says:  Woe unto them that join house to house, [that] lay field to field, till [there be] no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!" Isa. 5:8

Also, that statement, "the building goes on in Goshen" is so true;  the ntcc has used all kinds of slave labor to build their idolatrous temples to men; just as Pharaoh did.  And just like Pharaoh, ntcc used rigour and ruled with force and cruelty, taking away the straw of time, requiring a double quota of results to be produced.

God has heard the cries of His people.

Judgment is coming for some, deliverance for others.  What side will you be on?

Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15

When bloggers began demanding financial accountability from the ntcc borg leaders, the ntcc decided to do damage control by publishing a smoke-screen article about how much money they spent on blacktop.  **YAWN!**  This was just a pitiful attempt to divert attention from where ALL the money goes.  But let's look at an image and talk about it some more:

Google Satellite Image of ntcc Graham, Washington cult compound for the ntcs unaccredited seminary:

Note all the black top.  Hmmn.  More important than feeding Filipinos?  Believe it or not, you decide.  You decide  by staying with a group and endorsing their actions.  Or by leaving a group and finding one that supports the causes you believe in.  It's really that simple.  God loves you.  Will you love Him back?

Update:
After first publishing this story, we found this gem on a ntcc website:

"This was a real victory for our church. We spent very little money from our General Fund, because the people had a mind to work. So, we have 13 pews, and one of the members is having a pulpit made to match ..." T. E. Wright, Angeles City, Philippine Islands
Don and Ange say,

See what we mean here?  The ntcc sends this board member, tom wright to the Philippines to try and rescue a work... But look at his idea of "a real victory" in his own words:

"This was a real victory for our church. We spent very little money from our General Fund"--NTCC Board Member Tom E. Wright, Angeles City, Philippine Islands from the  skewed good news of pews at "New Pews" on ntcc website http://www.ntccmissions.org/angeles.html

We think tanya kekel needs another mansion, don't you?  And her daddy rodger wilson davis needs to live an a mansion valued at $1,100,000.00 that the ntcc built for him even though he allegedly retired back in 2004.  And all the Overseers and Board Members need new Recreational Vehicles, oops, ntcc only calls them Motor Homes (yeah, right, whatever).  While I was in the borg, they owned ELEVEN -- 11 -- Recreational Vehicles.  Each one could be valued conservatively between $200,000.00 - $300,000.00.  That's an estimated $2,200,000.00 - $3,300,000.00 DOLLARS TIED UP IN RECREATIONAL VEHICLES ALONE!

Don't worry about that starving Sister in the Philippines that one Minister testified about. He stated the ntcc boasted about her sacrificial giving of her food money to instead buy gas so she could bring people to church.  ntcc loved that story, until they got called out for letting that same woman, a bible school student, go hungry needlessly while the fat cats in Washington get fatter.

Garbage Children Of The Philippines:

Keep sending in those mission pledges and escrow account funds with no clue as to where the money really goes; 'cause it obviously ain't being spent in the Philippines on silly pews or hungry sisters, that kekel describes as "wasteful congregants"!!!

Whew. Glad to know the ntcc is so responsible and trustworthy that we can just take out our brains, dig in our wallets, and "give 'til it hurts"!! Right? Wrong.
God said to be a good steward. That means knowing where it really goes, folks. Don't put obedience to bullies like kekel and davis over obedience to God. Do what God wants and know where it goes. That is good stewardship.

If the ntcc will not provide financial disclosure, they should not get one cent of your money.

There are plenty of legitimate organizations out there that give full financial disclosure and help people in need every day. Feel free to check them out for yourself.  Or continue giving to the rich; but remember:

He that oppresseth the poor to increase his [riches, and] he that giveth to the rich, [shall] surely [come] to want. Prov. 22:16

Let's take a conservative estimate on just the asphalt. The larger the project, usually the less per square foot or yard. Traditional dark black asphalt generally lasts 10-30 years and averages $1-$5 a square foot, or $600-$3,000 for 12x50-feet. The price per square foot drops for larger projects, so a two-vehicle quarter-mile driveway would average $21,000-$52,000. You also have to factor in whatever is needed to prepare the ground, vehicle rental and the laying of the sand and gravel.

This was also built in stages with the small chapel, Lina Limpert building (who is she?), office and fellowship hall and then many other things being built over period of 20+ years. In this picture given the dimension of the parking lots and the roads, the total cost of this asphalt alone is in the range of $58,500-$292,500. Here is a breakdown:

Small Church Parking - $8,000-$40,000
Fellowship Hall Parking - $10,500-$52,500
Large Church Parking - $30,000-$150,000
Driveways - $10,000-$50,000

Don't forget the cost of buildings, a fountain that doesn't work during the winter, utilities, landscaping, and maintenance and you start to see it for the real cost.

Don and Ange say,

That's interesting, Anonymous. And what is sad is that this is only the tip of the ntcc expense iceberg. The ntcc has more money than they know what to do with; but they won't support their missionaries' most basic needs. Meanwhile tanya, mUck, verna, and rodg all parade around flaunting their wealth, touting it as 'blessings' but unwilling to show any financial transparency? Nobody lights a candle to stick it under a bushel basket. Why the secrecy? Unless they are dirty....

We believe what Tracy or another blogger speculated is correct - the ntcc builds these projects and lets the buildings stand empty for years just so they can burn enough revenue to still qualify for the non-profit status... ntcc is no more than a money-making real-estate empire carefully hidden in robes of religion designed to make a few families filthy rich off of the backs of the poor sacrificing workers!

Thanks for your input, Anonymous.

As for Ms. Limpert ... we don't know. Ange thinks she was around when the late C. L. Barnes was a missionary in the Philippines. Perhaps someone else knows more about Ms. Limpert and would enlighten us all.

As far as that building dedicated to her goes: It was the original classroom and chapel for the bible school circa 1987 (Ange thinks).

Ange's late ex husband, Eric Barden calculated that one third of the rock used on those buildings goes to waste each time it is used. Because the rocks are irregular in shape and size, some of the stone is knocked off or just not used in the project. According to Eric's calculations approximately one third of the stone was wasted. Gil Luna may want to confirm or amend that estimation, as he did much of that work. Ange thought that was a stunning figure of waste just to dress up a metal building. Yet davis derides students for leaving on a porch light of the dorms during daylight. Hmmn. Guess in davis' twisted thinking it is okay to waste alot of money on false facades like that rock; but not okay to burn a penny or two shining a light.

Anonymous provided us this Additional Article Link which discusses the cost of a driveway.

What really happens in ntcc is they get slave labor to do much of the work for free (compulsory bible school volunteers) or highly skilled but seriously under-paid building crew members to do the work for them. The ntcc even uses junky old equipment that is unsafe, risking hurting workers, just to pinch a penny or two; but you won't see someone like mUck out there doing the menial labor, risking life and limb to "build a work for Gawd"... it's all peon workers who are constantly mocked and told how nothing is ever good enough out there "making it happen" while davis dances around the platform screaming at them for their inability to "put it together". Ahem. Really? Really? Let's see tanya kekel "put it together" and feed a family of four off a forty dollar a week grocery budget year after year after year. Let's see her care for three kids, pick up "contacts" she persuaded to come to church, have dinner and her house and her family ready for service early enough to facilitate racing across Tacoma to get people who stand her up at the last minute, then race to Graham to volunteer in the children's church while her husband gets "plowed" for "driving an oil puker", "not having enough faith" to get to conference, and for generally being "just a knothead" and on and on...

Oh, but you will never ever see tonya kekel make those sacrifices or clean her own house or lift a finger to help another soul or invite and bring someone out to church because,

"It's different when it's your own family." shrug and giggle...

I believe others related how that Verna Davis was told not to contact Dorothy Barnes -
http://www.obicollege.com/staff.php

What's funny is that the accident with CL Barnes was when Davis was a missionary with Pentecostal Church of God in the Philippines. They left that out of Church History, but Verna Davis does have a painting of him in the library. Another mysterious character from Davis' past is Eli DePriest, the traveling hobo preacher that he would make anecdotes about and would sometimes make off handed comments because he wasn't successful in money matters.

Dorothy Barnes Bio

Don and Ange say,

Anon, this is all very interesting. Do you know why verna davis was told not to contact the widow of C.L. Barnes? Or do you know who told verna not to contact Dorothy Barnes? Guess those English / Journalism classes in High School are kicking in, Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How... (big smile) We think it is important to understand the roots of the ntcc. So many class titles and phrases used ("It was a privilege." - for example) from the Ozark Bible Institute are echoed in the ntcc. And of course there is the prevalent Pentecostal Poof hairdo, which Ange still wears to this day LOL
:*)

Anonymous also shared, "What's funny is that the accident with CL Barnes was when Davis was a missionary with Pentecostal Church of God in the Philippines. They left that out of Church History, but Verna Davis does have a painting of him in the library."

Don and Ange say,

Thanks, anon. Ange had actually heard that C. L. Barnes was killed in a bus accident in the P.I. but had forgotten that. It was also 'shared' by rodger w davis that the Filipino people wanted C. L. Barnes' headstone to read, "He loved the Filipino"; but davis said "NO! Put that "He loved God."

Anon, when you say "What's funny is that the accident with CL Barnes was when Davis was a missionary with Pentecostal Church of God in the Philippines. They left that out of Church History," we were wondering: Who left what out of what Church History? Do you mean the Ozark Bible Institute left out the info about davis or ...? Just not sure how to read that :~}

We do know verna painted a portrait of C. L. Barnes and of Pop Gaylord and hung the paintings in the ntcc Graham, Wa. bible school / seminary library; which building is dedicated to those two men. In fact Ange got married to Eric Barden in that library. This location was a concession granted by r w davis in recognition of Eric's work on the ntcc building crew.

Eric helped build that library and many other ntcc projects. In fact, the small turn in the sidewalk in front of the library was a suggestion by Eric to r w davis; who was wondering aloud where to direct that sidewalk. That is something not many would know. But this is not just a bit of ntcs campus trivia. Instead it is a glimpse into the relationship between r. w. davis and Eric J. Barden. There was an intimacy and respect there.

Yet r. w. davis would later throw Eric under the bus as is recorded in this blog's post titled "Go Hang Yourself Eric J. Barden"

These true stories are good to repeat, in hopes that those currently in ntcc who think "That will never happen to me." might read and begin to realize that not only could it happen to them; but also it is most likely that it will happen to them. They too will reach a point where ntcc will want them to fall on some sword for no logical reason other than to prove undying loyalty to the borg. When they refuse; they too will be told, in effect, to go hang themselves. Just a friendly warning to our readers.

Don and Ange say,

This one factoid shows so much about davis and his way of doing things. davis mocked this other preacher because Eli De Priest "wasn't successful in money matters."?

This shows how davis will gladly touch God's anointed, breaking the bible commandment r w so often uses to stop people from even disagreeing with rdub's twisted rules... davis is such a hypocrite to condemn others for disagreeing with davis doctrine, while he mocks a preacher for not being "successful in money matters."

But it shows how to davis it truly is only money that matters!

In their Church History classes, they never discussed how NTCC came about, except for the whole "Pastor saw compromise and God told him to build a Bible School..." speech. Don and Ange say,

Yes; more ntcc plagiarism. Vic Johanson also reported being required to purchase mimeographed books from the bible school office in St. Louis; these books were copies of other peoples' work.

We also think one of davis' real reasons for "not allowing" people to listen to radio preachers was so that people would not realize how many of davis' "messages" were stolen word for word from radio preachers.

Don and Ange

Vic Johanson said...

"Vic Johanson also reported being required to purchase mimeographed books from the bible school office in St. Louis; these books were copies of other peoples' work."

This is true; one was called "Leviticus for Lambs," and then our Genesis notes were verbatim from Dake's bible.

Don and Ange said...

Thanks, Vic, for verifying that report. Others have reported hearing davis preach a full sermon, word for word, including illustrations, that was another preacher's work. Again, we believe this is the real reason davis did not want people to listen to radio preachers; because then the people might realize where davis was getting his 'messages'. davis also (during the nineties) frequently 'dumped' on Dake's work / bible which discouraged people in ntcc from using the Dake's bible. Perhaps this too was to hide davis' plagiarism of Dake's work.

I am in a relationship with God today because of this church and it's people. I have read all of your rants here and over on Factnet back in '06 and the doubt it has sown within me is minuscule at best. I don't care if the leaders of my church and their family have more money than me. I remember as a child that the pastor of my mothers church was better off than us. But there were probably a thousand members he was ministering to. After reading your blog here I see that you folks are terribly unhappy, I guess because of bitterness that has taken root in your hearts. I think you should repent of it all and come back and serve the Lord again. Bye.

Well the doubt that we have sown is at least there, but you should have more than a minuscule amount of doubt, and should see some huge red flags. Do you notice the double standards and do they bother you at all? I can understand where you are coming from only because I was brainwashed a long time ago just like you are now. You overlook things that you should be very concerned about because of a feeling that you have.

Do you think that it's normal for a preacher to scream at pregnant woman for ruining their husbands ministry to the point where they are humiliated in front of a crowd? Do you think that it's right for Davis to say children hinder the work of the Lord, and encourage men to get snipped while he adopted Tanya in the Philippine Islands and then chose to hide that from everyone? Do you think that it's okay that Kekel allowed his son to have a normal childhood, while others where expected to force them to live by strict standards? Do you think it's alright that our tithe dollars paid for educating Grant Kekel in the finest schools while allowing him to participate in sports while everybody else's children were being raised like complete and total dorks? Do you think that we are ranting when we give actual accounts of women having miscarriages because they are forced to go soul-winning? Is it ranting when we expose the ntcc leadership for keeping the vast majority of it's ministers and members living below the poverty level while they Drive around in Cadillacs and Beemers, and live in Mansions while people wait on them hand and foot so they can take all expense paid vacations around the world with no accountability or transparency? Do you think they don't hold their ministers to a different standard then what they live by?

It's great that you got saved in the ntcc as many of us did. Isaiah 55:11 "My word.......shall not return unto me void." You can get saved in any church or in the barracks or at a bar. If you get saved in a bar, are you going to stay there just because that is where God dealt with you? You have to make yourself look at what is going on around you and ask yourself, What would Jesus do? The people that Jesus set free from sin were excited and liberated. They weren't walking on egg shells. They were told to "Go and tell what great things that God had done for them", not to hand out church cards and that it was a numbers game. They weren't told to set up collection centers and to make merchandise out of the house of God.

You should be disturbed when you hear verified accounts of so called leaders like Kinson visiting whore houses and not denying it. Forgiveness and mercy work both ways. Why are we supposed to forgive and forget the ntcc leadership when they have failed to show the slightest bit mercy to their own victims.

We are often described as bitter and unhappy because we blog about things that many people turn a blind eye to. The ntcc tells you to stay away from the blogs and isolates you from everyone who leaves. Why do you think that is? It's the same reason that we used to hound people to be in every service. We didn't think God was able to keep them. They were not trusted, we were not trusted and God was not trusted to keep a soul.

We hope that you will be more than just a little doubtful about the ntcc and look at them for what they are.
