Mackert ... found a place, 9 feet by 14 feet [9'x14'] and one bathroom. It is on the 6th floor and there is no elevator. The last place they had stayed, they had to share a common bathroom with the other tenants! Yikes! Jesus In The Temple

Matt 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, Matt 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Gal. 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Skip To Blue Letter Bible Search Tool

Kat's New Blog - Another Post ntcc Success Story!

Our friend Kat has started a New Blog called: "Finding my way.  A journey of weight loss and healing past wounds".   It's amazing what people can do when they are free from the controlling ways of the ntcc.  As Kat shares in her blog post, you have to realize that you are worth something. The ntcc keeps people beat down and unappreciated.  It's hard to do anything positive for yourself or others when you feel like you are living in bondage.  Weight gain is a huge problem in the ntcc.  They call out a lot of sins but they encourage gluttony.  They will beat you to death over tithe and outward "holiness" standards while they feed you 3,000 calorie meals.

Food was the only outlet that people were allowed to indulge in this cult and many of us over-ate.  Davis was overweight so he couldn't very well preach against gluttony, now could he?  Especially since he couldn't remember the last time he sinned.  If Davis were to preach against gluttony like he did against women wearing pants or ear rings, or about non tithe paying "God robbers", very few in the ntcc would be saved. There are a lot of overweight people in the ntcc, but worse than that, there are a lot of critical fault finding individuals that will tear you down for your short comings while ignoring their own.  This is called hypocrisy.

Isn't it amazing what people are able to accomplish when they get out of the cult?  Why do you suppose there are so many success stories among those who leave?  I would say that God has very little to do with the self imposed bondage that people in the ntcc place themselves under.  Kat has over come this bondage and she has an amazing story to share.

We hope that her blog inspires you as it has inspired us.  In her blog, Kat shares many things about her past. Her testimony is amazing and we hope we believe it will help others. Kat's life is a journey that is still being written.

It is truly amazing, how God, builds you up and begins a healing process in your life after you leave Ntcc, Your confident grows, your money grows, your faith grows, and you really start to believe and see that, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me". Philippians 4:13. You begin to feel stronger in Christ and closer to God. Hebrews 11:6, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. The God that ntcc preaches seems angry and vindictive, with a strong appetite for money, you only seem to start growing in Gods great Grace and Mercy once you or out of ntcc how amazing. Thanks kat for your inspiration and your courageous testimony.

Ntcc preaches a god who is angry and vengeful, nothing like the God who sent his only begotten Son because he so loved the world.

You're welcome. Thank you for sharing. When people open up like you have, it leaves them vulnerable but it also helps others realize that they are not alone. It is our belief that for every one soul that shares their testimony, there are at least ten who are going through the similar trials but haven't figured out how to turn things around. Seeing someone actually recover in a positive way is a great motivator to let others know the possibilities that exist. In the ntcc, there are very few success stories. People are so bogged down with trying to seek approval from their task masters that they can't focus on the basic things in their own life that are dragging them down. The constant beat downs keep people down and out. When you are constantly being rebuked and blamed for failure, it leaves you in the state of mind that God doesn't care about you enough to deliver you from the war that rages within. Contrary to the teachings of the narcissistic ntcc leadership, we are all greatly loved by God.

This is a very positive account of how a person can discover their inner strength and self worth and turn their life around without some religious huckster beating them down and making a profit off of them. Men and women in the ntcc get fat and stay fat. It's true. Davis lost weight but gained it all back. Davis would humiliate overweight folks from the pulpit. I remember vividly in one conference how Davis scolded overweight women for sitting in the same church pew, wearing dresses with flowers that made them look even bigger, talking about ministers and their wives being so fat that they looked like they were pushing a cart, and then there was the Beach ball club when Davis made a handful of ministers come up front so he could show the congregation how their stomachs looked like beach balls. People were laughed at and humiliated in the ntcc. If you got your feelings hurt, you were humiliated even more. I got so fat at one point from eating Servicemen's home feasts that Davis once asked me how I could still be in the Army, and if I was on the fat boy program. I was at 23.98% body fat and if I hadn't sucked my gut in when they taped me, I would have been over 24% and processed into the Army's overweight program. Never any positive reinforcement.

Very well said, Maurice. You would think that Jesus never died and rose again the way the ntcc preachers carry on. They are more interested in using people for their money and labor than they are in helping them. Grace, love and mercy are concepts that were mocked by the ntcc leadership. They were more concerned about preaching judgement and hell fire than they were about allowing people to enjoy their salvation. Everything was driven by money and numbers. There was never any mercy for the poor, broke and outcasts. The cross of Calvary was only for those who paid tithe and gave in offerings. Mercy and Grace were for those who obeyed the preacher and endured the chastisement.
