mike kekel Gone Country? Dog Show or Bluegrass / Winterfest

What was kekel doing at a Bluegrass Festival when he preached against secular music as being "worldly"?kekel said,

"Many years ago when our son was small, we took him to Frontier Park in Graham, WA. We noticed a dog show going on nearby, so we wandered over to watch. After a few minutes of witnessing the interaction of the people with their pets, it became clear to me that it was time to leave. I was uncomfortable and troubled in my spirit by the atmosphere.

Another time a few years ago we went to an annual event in Tacoma called Wintergrass; basically one hour acoustic music lessons/workshops taught by professionals. Iʼve played guitar since 1966 and Iʼm always trying to improve, so it was an absolute treat for me to listen to these pros play and teach. Later in the evening when things started jumping, and started to get crazy, we looked at each other and said something like, “letʼs get out of here!” These are just 2 examples of many kinds of situations that we as Christians may find ourselves in and no one can hit the brakes but us! Here’s another scenario; Restaurants that serve alcohol. If you refuse to eat at such places, youʼre left with McDonalds and the BK; but the environment is quite different on Tuesday afternoon than it is on Friday or Saturday evening when the crowd is rockinʼ and prowlinʼ. So then, is it the PRESENCE of alcohol, or the activities INVOLVING it that is wrong? For that matter, alcohol is present at the supermarket, but walking near it should not be a temptation for a Christian. If there is no lust (desire) for it in your heart, there should be no temptation (James 1:14-15)- “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” Even if you WERE tempted by it, you still have a brake pedal beneath your foot. Use it! If a certain place put you in a position to be tempted, then you should avoid even going there."

Don and Ange say,

This clearly illustrates the warped thinking of mike kekel and the cultish teachings of the ntcc. Come on, the leisurely walk through the park and stumbling into a wicked dog show?  A dog show is such a terrible atmosphere to have to endure?  I bet it really vexed your spirit. Maybe it was the fact that the dogs were not wearing modest apparel?  Or one of them committed an indecent act in public? I know what it was. It must have been the dog owners dripping with pride?  Or maybe the dogs were proud?

When I read this, I almost fell out of my chair laughing. It brought back so many ntcc memories. I thought of disclaimers that we used to use at ntcc.

"I was walking through the barracks and stumbled across a tv; and there just happened to be some sinful event on there; and I felt convicted for even watching 30 seconds of it."

kekel said, "we noticed a dog show and wandered over to watch".

If kekel got convicted I would imagine that the conviction he was experiencing had something to do with the double standards that ntcc has been preaching for years and years.  Maybe he realized what a hypocrite he is for going to a Bluegrass Music Festival after years of teaching that all such  music is "worldly".

Maybe he just got done telling the bible school students that if their toenails where hanging over the threshold of their doorstep at 10:00:01pm they would be breaking curfew and would forfeit their semester; and ntcc would keep all the proceeds so that the kekel kid could purchase a new football uniform for his extracurricular sporting event that nobody else in the history of ntcc ever got to participate in without getting raked over the coals for wearing lascivious tight clothes and playing sports that could take them away from the work of the borg, oops, lawd.

That might bring a little conviction; but I bet he stayed there a few more minutes and pondered over all the members that were told they couldn't have dogs or that cats were of the devil. That must have brought a lot of conviction. But I bet he lingered a little longer. It wasn't until he reflected back on the time that his father-in law davis had a certain preacher, elliot f. gesang, execute certain German Shepherds named Wendy and Lion by taking them out in the woods and shooting them; since davis and kekel were not being responsible pet owners and didn't want to build fences big enough to properly contain their dogs.

Or maybe kekel remembered that time his father-in-law had a certain preacher take an axe and chop off the heads of a litter of  puppies (read more>>). I also would be convicted if I were at a dog show and belonged to an organization like ntcc that has no respect for the sanctity of the life of a defenseless dog.

If you are cruel to animals, you also will be cruel to people. It's a statistical fact that a lot of murderers start out by hacking up dogs and cats and other animals "to see what it feels like to kill something". They learn to develop a lust for blood. I'm not saying that kekel or davis have murdered people, at least not physically (that we know of), but what about spiritually?

Can a preacher be cruel enough to a person by blasting them publicly and rebuking them openly on something that has no scriptural basis to make them commit spiritual suicide? What is it that causes a person to walk away from God? Is it always their desire to go back into sin? Do we take the same amount of care with a person's spiritual health as we do with their physical health?

When they wrongfully accuse those whose souls they have been entrusted to watch over, and instead gang-up on them when they should be the ones that demonstrate love, is there any culpability or accountability to restore those souls as brothers or sisters? I've seen people trampled on and cast out of churches for disagreeing with the highly esteemed so-called pastors of the ntcc over issues that the ntcc taught as gospel but were not backed up by scripture; what happened next was that this innocent questioning or disagreement was used to spiritually separate young tender church members from the only source of reality in God that they ever knew.

For some reason it was important for kekel to point out that this stroll through the park took place "many years ago when their son was small". This is a psychological disclaimer; that was used as a defense mechanism for something that kekel thought was wrong. The point is that if the place that he went was so bad he should have never gone in the first place.

I remember one time I bought a boat and restored it and parked it by the servicemen's home. I didn't feel any conviction until a certain overseer was scheduled to come by. I just knew that my fields were going to get plowed. Being a member of ntcc and having a boat is just asking for hot coals to be heaped on your back and searing flames licking at your heels. After all, how can you be a Christian and have time for a boat? Was I convicted by the Holy Ghost for having this boat? Or perhaps was there a certain precedent that had been set at the ntcc about doing things that are fun? Whatever the case may be, when the overseer came by I made it a point to explain that I had purchased the boat to fix it up and make money by selling it so that I wouldn't get plowed. Here I was, making up lies, which is a sin, to cover up doing something that is not a sin. No wonder I was so "convicted". Perhaps if I were a member of a normal church, I would never of felt guilty for having a boat and would have never made up a lie about it.

Next we find kekel telling us about his trip to Winterfest. This time we have no disclaimer before he told us that he went because there must have been no conviction to go in the first place. But the psychological disclaimer came afterwards as another defense mechanism, "Iʼve played guitar since 1966 and Iʼm always trying to improve, so it was an absolute treat for me to listen to these pros play and teach." He doesn't even realize that he is making excuses for his behavior.

Now here we have the CEO of ntcc feeling convicted by being at a dog show within a few minutes of being there; but he can sit at a bluegrass festival for an entire hour before being convicted??  I personally don't think that either activity is a sin in itself, unless, like kekel, you preach double standards. However, if you look at the teachings of ntcc, and if you compare a bluegrass festival to a dog show, I would have to think that a bluegrass festival would be more of a sin than a dog show.

I do think that if it were common knowledge that a bible school  student were participating in events like that, there would be unreasonable spiritual retribution toward that individual. They might not come out and say that it was a sin to attend an event like that, although they have in the past; but what they would more than likely say is that souls are dying and going to hell and here you are wasting time at a worldly music festival.  Same exact thing. Same effect. Same judgmental double standards. It's okay for the elitists in the ntcc to basically do whatever they want; but when it comes to the least of God's children, it's a sinful event.

Why are we so hard on the ntcc?  Because the leadership should  set a good example of what they expect others to do.  But instead the ntcc leaders break the rules they have created and do the exact opposite of what they expect otherss to do.  They say and do not.  Hypocrites.

Mathew 23:4 "They bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; and they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers".

If you are preaching strict adherence to a set of values to the least of the brethren, then you better live by it yourself; or you are a HYPOCRITE. Don't you borg 'leaders' feel the least bit guilty about the double standards and hypocrisy that is rampant throughout the ntcc? You should. kekel, you don't need to learn how to use the brake pedal in your spiritual car, you need to learn how to use the steering wheel. If you would have turned your steering wheel in your sin-mobile a little to the left or to the right, you wouldn't have created so much fodder for us to write about. You should step down from your lofty position and turn it over to someone who lives what they preach, loves God and does not ADD TO or TAKE AWAY FROM the Word of God. Until next time, we are the X-ers and we stand united.

Don and Ange,

One of the more curious things, to me (concerning Pastor Kekel), is he will become trouble and uncomfortable (in his spirit) at a dog show, but it was all systems go when he was in his early through mid-twenties, and prosecuting a long-term emotional/romantic (and physical) relationship with a child in her early through mid-teens (with the approval of Pastor Davis, of course).

Also curious (to me) is NTCC now advertises on TV.

If another (they have already used inattentiveness on our part, policy, stupidity, praying about 'it', et al) potential future justification is along the lines of the-end-justifies-the-means (salvation, Holy Spirit Baptism, money, numbers, property, gifts, et al), that would explain why they have (in good conscience) been able to persecute members of the Body of Christ (with such vigor) for over 4 decades.

you missed part of that article about the dog show; where the lesbians were kissing the dogs, french style? Don might like to comment on that kind of thing, homosexuality that is. And what is the age difference between Greg and Debbie?

people in ntcc show more care for animals. Such as Gesang. Then they do for Human beings. Unless your doing the fake smile. Faking that all is good. God is blessing,we are winning. If you have real problems,or a illness. Then watch out. You will be ignored, forgotten, dumped off to the wayside. ntcc only wants what appears is profitable, suceeding. Nothing negative is allowed in there walls. Because that would mean that there NOT winning and God is NOT blessing them.

Oh and this ANON poster can ONLY grasp at straws. They got NOTHING to back up there cult tactics.

Anonymous,

NTCC's view is God quantifies sin (one sin is worse than another)? Is this a new change? I never heard (or preached) this from March 1991 until December 2008. But, I realize a lot can change in two years.

Lesbianism and bestiality are worse than child molestation in the eyes of the Holy Spirit? To the point where child molestation is acceptable?

I understand Pastor Kekel (or anyone else) becoming uncomfortable (Christian or not) when exposed to unnatural affection; even more so if their child is present. Yet, don't you think the Holy Spirit, who convicts against dog shows (and any ancillary goings on), would also convict this same person against his romantic pursuit of a minor less than 15 years of age, when he was in his mid-twenties? How about convicting the female child’s father (who has never missed God, and does all by the Holy Spirit, and can’t remember the last time he sinned) regarding same?

NOTE: These recurring public proclamations (“I’ve never missed God”, and “All I do is by the Holy Ghost”, and “I can’t remember the last time I sinned”) by Pastor Davis are one reason all NTCC’s ‘policies’ are looked upon (and promoted, and preached, and enforced) by the faithful as the unwavering will of God, and not merely ‘suggested’ courses of action; at least until Pastor Kekel stumbled out of the closet and onto the scene (on 3 March 2009 @ 7:20 pm) with his now famous ‘private’ diametric interpretation concerning God’s will. Pastor Kekel now tells us he prays about things (football, secular college, hobbies, worldly music, et al) that Pastor Davis has also prayed about, and comes up with different answers, which also please the Holy Spirit?

I know the perception is NTCC (and its leadership) is always (frequently) right, but I refuse to believe the Holy Spirit stopped doing his job just because of Pastor and Sister Kekel’s first encounter (30 years by this time); that now corrupting the morals of a minor is acceptable.

Anonymous,

You are not alone; most people think Deborah is as much as 15 years older than I am because of her gray hair. But, our age difference is as much as three years, depending on the time of year (since our birthdays are in different months).

A key point may be we did not get married when Deborah was 18 and I was 15; we were both in our thirties, and neither of us felt any Holy Spirit conviction against it; probably because the leadership approved our courting, and subsequent union. I asked permission (as required by policy) from Pastor Davis to court (on the wall only) and then marry (in Pastor Davis’ living room only, no church wedding for us) Deborah. Thankfully he gave his approval both times. Thank-you Pastor Davis; it’s been over 16 wonderful years.

Not finding fault. But I also thought there was as big age gap between Greg and Debbie. I guess because you had recently graduated BS and fresh out of the Marines.

It is funny when immature people feel threated. They lash out at others. Trying to pull Greg and Debbie into the mix. Trying to make them look bad. Because they know there EXPOSED!

Right from the start on web site that was exposing Cults. You get Whirlwind coming on trying to take up for the cult. Then that same person(Mike K.) starts his blog. why, just to do damage control for his organization.
Why not come on the blogs with facts to back up there beliefs. Since they can't do that. They attack and try and find fault with the one's sharing the TRUTH!

Don and Ange Said,

I believe that ntcc is trying to incorporate liberalism into their teachings. The liberals believe that the constitution is a living and breathing document; meaning that it changes as we change. Surely this must have been what God intended when he inspired Holy Ghost filled men to write down His words. I'm sorry but I can't subscribe to that line of thinking. Perhaps they are all wrong. Maybe God's will in the 60's, 70's, 80s, 90's and 2000's was the same as it is today. "Oh, Don't you see, those were just ""policies"", or differences of opinion". When you sit in your lofty positions and impose your beliefs on people, When you preach your opinions as God's Word, When you threaten, rebuke or publicly chastise people for doing something that is nowhere near as bad as the sin's that you have not repented of then I would have to classify you as a cult and throw you in the same bag as the Pharisees and the Sadducees.

I do believe it's a narrow path which few will find, but lets not make it any harder than it has to be. The ntcc is all about trying to clone people after the image of kekel or rwd so that they will be fruitful and multiply, not biologically but financially. I would rather be a Christian than a kekelian or an rwd clone.

Don and Ange said,

If you look at all of the major cults, ntcc does not align themselve with any of them in that the foundation of their doctrine is based in the truth. This is what makes them more sinister than all of the other cults. They preach the truth to get people in and then they slobber phony love all over them. The definition of phony love is the love you get as long as you are of some monetary value you are part of their cult. As soon as you leave, the love stops. As soon as your money stops flowing in, the phony love stops.

Once they have your loyalty and monetary support, then they begin to add rules which involve maximizing your time schedule. The busier you are, the less time you have to think. I remember functioning off of 2 to 3 hours of sleep on the weekdays.

They play off the most important desires of your heart. (Manipulation.) They know that your eternal destination is the most important desire that you have. Therefore, everything equates to "if you love God" or "if you don't want to die and go to hell".

It always comes across the pulpit as an ultimatum: "Who are we to question the man of God?" We don't even have time to think for ourselves.

Then they use your love for others. They want you to "invite" people out to church. If you care about lost souls, you will bring people to church. They never emphasize witnessing or personal testimony as a means to win others to Christ. The object is to invite multitudes of people out. And the few, if any, that come will hear the professional sales person; I mean pastor, "preach" what is intended to be a salvation message. But there might be people in that service that have not paid tithe; and we know that, in the ntcc tithe trumps salvation! And the new souls are run off every time.

to be cont'd

Don and Ange said...

continued from above...

The exception to this is family. If family members even look critical of ntcc they are to be blasted. Family members are considered a threat to ntcc; because they are more concerned about their loved ones.

Another area of control is relationships. There is absolutely no biblical grounds for ntcc to control relationships; but it is a very big part of their ministry. Their need to control that which is most important to you exceeds decency and has been the cause of many shipwrecked lives and ruined relationships.

The ntcc finds a way to control the most important areas of your lives that are meant to be controlled by you and God only! and when they try to interfere with these areas they are interfering with your relationship with God.

The more control they have, the more effective you will become at helping them reach their goal! And what is their goal? It's all about money. They might lie to themselves and to their congregations; but...

Everything they do is based on money:

**A Church's success is measured on

*how many tithe payers it has; or

*how much money is in it's general fund at any given time.

There is never an emphasis on the poor or the afflicted.

**In fact, Spirit lead Christians who try to help the poor or afflicted are attacked by ntcc Board Members and told:

*stop going to orphanages;

*don't invite [poor] people who use blankets for curtains; you can't build a [bank account] (er, I mean) you can't build a church that way.

*don't help sick parents; "let the deat bury their dead"... {Forget the fact that Jesus said, HONOR THY FATHER AND THY MOTHER.}

This is why they can not come on the blogs with facts or scriptures to back up their teachings. They are false prophets, and they teach false doctrine. They try to cover it up with half-truths and "a form of godliness"... But when you ask them to back it up there is no substance; nor will there ever be.

Anon 10/9 forgot to talk about ntcc's teachings about cats.

I think you should also take a poll. All those who had to get their parent's signature on their marriage license to make it legal, raise your hand.

That is exactly what I mean. ntcc does NOT preach the truth. They get up there and slobber, yell. Work everyone into a frenzie. So your brain is not totally there and clear. to understand everything that is shared. The scripture that gets twisted. Taught how ntcc wants it taught. Keep folks confused and in a fog. I have been told,I was not myself when I was in ntcc. I wasn't myself. I slowly became a robot that looked how I was supposed to look, smile on command, raise my hands on command, knock on doors like a robot, sing like it was my last breath, jump up and down if others were jumping. )even if I had no desire to jump)

The Holy Ghost is NOT present during a ntcc service. It is all worked up fake frenzie! You would not need a GUILT TRIP to raise your hands in worship. Or bashed if you don't jump up and down,or run around the room like a lunatic. A prayer meeting is not everyone pacing back and forth as fast as they can. or women lined up against walls watching other ladies. As if there more holy then the one's on there knee's. So much PRIDE in ntcc. Pride does come before a fall!!!!!!

Ntcc can not back up there teachings. Which is why they started calling them POLICIES. Mike K. knew he had nothing to back them up. Except that is what ntcc ministers and wives do. As if there supposed to be set apart from the conregation. Where does it say in the Bible to set yourself apart,or above your conregation? Please don't quote ntcc JARGON. Quote actually bible scriptures. That will not happen. Because they have no confidence in there beliefs. Mike K. knows holes can be blown in there so called holiness beliefs!

April, not only does mike kekel know that holes can be blown in their policies, he also knows how mean and creepy, angry and bitter, deceitful and dishonest he has been on his own blog THAT'S WHY HE HAD TO DELETE OR HIDE SO MUCH OF IT...

Not to worry though, old kekel will be at it again, from the pulpit, from the blogs, everywhere he turns, spewing his hate speeches and false doctrines... It is a way of life (or death) for him so that he literally could not keep himself from calling children "evil and filthy" when there was a Dispatch News reporter in the congregation.

Just the existence of these so-called hate blogs that are nothing more than mirrors so kekel kan see himself proves how corrupt the ntcc is...

Good churches don't have people blogging about their evil ways because their ways are not evil.

ntcc is blogged about because ntcc is messed up. Bottom line.

Mike Gets brave and begins to post how HE LIVES. He post that what was SIN is now a policy. Talks about how it is ok for his son to play football. Though for years it was not allowed. Wether it was said outright or not. Alot of what folks follow in ntcc are not said outright. Many of ntcc sins are just Known or assumed that you know. Just like it is assumed that you know how to run a pioneer church. even though you have had NO training,NO help. Sent to a work all on YOUR OWN!

Mike K. is brave enough to say the stuff he says. Because he knows folks will stay. Swallow it hook, line and sinker. They have no idea what to do if they had to leave ntcc(the cult). So out of fear, they believe anything is said. Rules change. So what. I have been called of God to be a preacher. God called me to ntcc to preach. So this has to be where God wants me to....right?

BUT,have you really been called of God? Ntcc is a Organization based on FALSE teachers. So how can it be of God? My theory is,no one was even called by God while in a ntcc service. God was there. It was a frenzie, built up. Until you thought you were called.

The Holy Ghost is NOT present during an ntcc service.

Jeff wrote...

The fact is none of us really know when the Holy Ghost is present or not. We think we know but much of that was taught and not proved, and there is no tangible evidence to support our claim one way or the other. That is one of the main objections I now have with the NTCC. None of these claims they make can be proven. All their claims of religious spiritual experiences are hollow with no substance.

Here are examples.

"Boy did God move this evening".

Jeff says: How did God move? NTCCers can prove that God moved anywhere. Just because you get emotional doesn't proved that God moved. And not only that but what does God "moving" mean anyway. When I move I get up from the chair or run across the lawn or walk to the mailbox. So what, God made you emotional and that is supposed to be some kind of abnormal spiritual experience? People get emotional in practically ever church I've ever been in so what does that supposed to mean.

"The Holy Ghost was present in service".

Jeff says: NTCC people say the Holy Ghost was present in their services and exNTCCers maintain that wouldn't be the case because of all the abuse, deceit, and lack of love which exNTCCers feel God would have no part of. So who is right and who can prove it. I say neither because there is no "TANGIBLE" evidence one way or the other.

"Boy I got healed of my headache."

Jeff says: Prove it because I don't know if your headache is gone or if you ever really had one to start with? Lets see a real healing where someone's missing leg grows back or someone who is really crippled like Sis Solomon starts to walk right again. You can tell that lady is crippled so why haven't the big NTCC "healers" ever healed her? Mumbo jumbo is what I say.

"God is going to curse you if you leave the NTCC".

Jeff says: Prove it. If I died of a heart attack tomorrow you can't prove that God struck me down. Maybe I simply had too much cholesterol in my blood. Maybe God struck me down and maybe he didn't but the fact is you can't prove it one way or the other.

This is what I'm talking about. All the NTCCs claims are empty and so are the claims of many exNTCCers. The truth is I don't know who is going to hell and who isn't because God will forgive who he forgives and judge who he judges, and there ain't a man on earth who has any control over it. Everyone thinks they have God figured out and to me it is a big joke.

Some folks on their death bed may get forgiveness and some folks may not and there ain't one person on this earth who can "PROVE" which is which. The one thing I can prove is a lie vs the truth.

For Kekel to suggest that it was always ok in the NTCC for a man to wear basketball shorts or tight football pants is a lie. How do I know? Because "I" sat through enough services and "I" had enough NTCC pastors and "I" listened to RWD enough times to know that what Kekel is saying is not true.

Kekel says that secular college attendance is acceptable and I know he is only saying it because Grant is now attending one. Well it wasn't always acceptable and I know that for a fact so Kekel is lying. "I" listened to RWD and other NTCC pastors enough to know.

Kekel is a straight up deceitful con-artist who does not speak the truth. That can be proven and it is obvious to anyone with a brain who is not afraid to use it. NTCC pastor have a history of abusing their church members and other ministers and that can be PROVEN.

All this other stuff is hollow with no tangible substance.

Ok, Anonymous, you really want to go there? The article you posted on your blog didn't say anything about lesbians french kissing dogs. How did you know they were lesbians? Did you watch them kiss each other first? I forgot, you are trying to clean up your blogs so maybe you left that out. Or maybe you saw a woman with short hair get licked in the face by a dog and got convicted, who knows.

The point of this whole thing is the double standards and the hypocrisy that kekel exhibits on a daily basis.

As for the age difference between Deborah and Greg, you are really grasping at straws and stooping to new lows. I can definitely tell you this. Neither one of them was a minor when they got married. They both were mature adults of the required legal age when they were married. If that's all you can come up with is to find fault with two good, hardworking people that love
God a lot more than you do, maybe you should go back to your master and ask for some new talking points.

If you want me to comment on homosexuality I will do that; but think about it really hard before you go there. There is not much you can do to hurt me. I have very thick skin. I've been to hell and back with ntcc. I guarantee you that it will hurt you a lot more than it hurts me.

Not too long ago we visited an Applebee's Restaurant on a Friday night, when the crowd was, in the words of m c kekel, "rockin' and prowlin"...

There were a half dozen or so Mennonite teenage girls with their bonnets and another half dozen or so Mennonite beaus escorting their dates.

We prayed God could keep us through such a harrowing experience ;-0 [;~}
