Tour NTCC 4: The "Bonco" and Maria Moreno Videos

Deep in the heart of Graham, nestled against a wooded area, and hidden from the view of many, lies a chunk of real estate owned by the New Testament Christian Churches of America, Incorporated, called the Bonco.  One might ask, what is a Bonco?  We had the same question so we looked it up.  No definition could be found for the word "Bonco" but it's close relatives Bunko Bonko and Bunco all yielded up some interesting definitions that are worthy to be blogged about.

BONCO (also spelled BUNCO, BUNKO, and BONKO) is defined as:

bun·ko  (Source:  Dictionary Reference)

(1)  a swindle in which a person is cheated at gambling, persuaded to buy a nonexistent, unsalable, or worthless object, or otherwise victimized.

(2)  any misrepresentation.

bonko  (Source:  Urban Dictionary)

(1)  Used when showing an extreme amount of disgust; or disliking about something. 

bun·ko  (Source:  Answers dot Com)

(1)  A swindle in which an unsuspecting person is cheated; a confidence game.

(2)  To swindle.

There is a dice game that originated in England in the early 19th Century and was imported to San Francisco in 1855, where it gave it's name to gambling parlors or "Bunco parlors" and more generally to any swindle.  During prohibition in the 1920's Bunco was re-popularized as a gambling game, often associated with a speakeasy.  Law enforcement groups raiding these parlors became known as "Bunco Squads".

How fitting are those definitions?  Seeing that many unsuspecting people were swindled out of their money and cheated out of their future, we have decided to share the truth with our readers.  Hopefully ntcc'ers that are googling will stumble across this post and learn where their money really goes.

To see the mansions on this not-for-profit organization's land, one would have to drive a mile away to the top of a hill and take pictures with a camera that allows you to zoom in.  Well we took such a trip and we have such a camera and we have some photos that we would like to share.  Now our phone camera's didn't really do this justice because we had to go so far away to get a glimpse of these mansions; so the pictures are a little fuzzy.  No doubt the location of the "Bonco" and the strategic placement of the mansions within the Bonco was chosen to keep the filthy rich leaders obscured from the prying eyes of the wondering public.  Remember, this is a so-called "non-profit" organization that bunkoed or deceived or conned its people out of $millions$ saying that it was all going towards lost souls.

The Bonco is a double gated community with fences around it and not just anyone can drive into this cult compound.  There is a secret code that must be entered in at the gate or someone has to be called and let you in.  It has been said by those close to the borg leaders that if a person wanted to live in one of these houses, they would not be allowed to have their "sinner" family members visit them.  I'm sure there are many other controlling rules that are in place also.

We also looked at the Bing Map Images for these coordinates.  But the image is more dated and kekels' kastle does not show.

Another way to get a glimpse into the secret lifestyles of the infamous Borg leaders would be from the road bordering the rear of their mansions.  Here is one photo of that view:

We mention the horse pastures because davis blasted one lady, Maria Moreno, saying she should love souls as much as she loves horses.  davis was accusing Maria of sinning because she paused and admired some horses while "souls are lost and dying and going to hell".  This accusation by davis brought against Maria in front of hundreds of her peers at the ministers' conference had her in tears.  We believe the borg leaders' constant bullying of the Moreno family and false doctrines contributed to that family's triple murder and suicide.  (To read more click here for Newspaper article or for related blog posts click here.)  We bring this up again because both the kekel and davis Bonco mansions border a property with a horse barn and pastures.  Check out the Google Satellite Image below and the video to see what we are talking about.  Be sure to read the full description of the video for more info.

Here is that satellite image again (below), but including the neighbor's horse barn (the white structure) and some of the neighbor's horse pastures...  This is the very pasture where we shot the  video "In Memoriam - Maria Moreno".  We did so because rodger wilson davis blasted Maria in a conference for stopping and admiring horses in a pasture while, in rwd's words, "Souls are lost and dying and on their way to hell."  Now the day we shot that video the horses were in a pasture south of the barn.  But had they been in the pasture north of the barn, davis would probably have a pretty good view of them from the back windows of his mansion, especially in the winter when the leaves are off the trees....  So is it davis who sits around in his mansion, looking at horses in a pasture while "souls are lost and dying and on their way to hell"?  What a hypocrite davis is for blasting Maria Moreno from the pulpit to humiliate her in front of her peers in the conference!

Recently we took a trip to Washington state to see old friends, and visit some ntcc haunts.  It was a business trip in a sense; but it also was a small vacation for us; and we had a great visit with the X-er's that live in this area.  Diana Taylor was our gracious hostess with the mostes. ;o)  And she drove us all over and updated us on what's been going on in Washington.  We cannot thank her enough for her hospitality and showing us a great time while we were visiting!!

During this trip we got some good videos and pictures of the ntcc cult compound to share with the viewers of this blog.  We started our tour at Mom and Pop Gaylords' grave site.  I know many folks have mixed feelings about Mom and Pop; but many have fond memories of them; and we most definitely do.  In spite of the fact that the ntcc would probably not exist without them, they were very different than the rest of the ntcc overseers and board members in that they did things the way they felt they should be done, in many cases without the approval of r. w. davis.  They would openly disagree with RWD's way of doing things; and they were not afraid of him or verna mae davis either.  For us it was an honor to visit their grave site; and we will always cherish the memories that we have of what seemed to be the best of the ntcc leadership.  We think when they passed away, the small remnant of good in the organization faded with their memories.

Un-Fellowship:  X-ers Reunited

We spent some time with the Reeds, Bro. Armer and many others we love and are becoming fast friends with.  And we all had quality fellowship which we have been starving for.  We think one of the most wicked rules of the ntcc is their blatant shunning of anyone who no longer attends their church.  Through this rule long time friends are often separated for no reason other than the isolationist rule of the independent founder of ntcc, r. w. davis.  If you attend ntcc and think those people are your friends, think again.  If you choose to go to church elsewhere, those people in ntcc will drop you like a bad habit just because davis says so.  Sad.

As we were showing pictures of Mom and Pop's graves to Brother Reed, he told us about an occasion in which he had wanted to visit Mom and Pop's grave.  Old Manipulative, Double-Standard Davis told him that he wanted to go with Matt Reed to visit the grave; and R-dub emphasized for Bro. Reed not to go without him.  He promised that they would go visit together soon.  I think two or three years went by and R-DUBlecross had yet to keep his word to the Brother.  Without any invite or knowledge of what happened RWD took Gandy to Mom and Pop's grave site and then later told MDR that he missed out because he Wasn't Around.  Davis is a very manipulative dude.  Why would somebody treat a brother this way?

These are details that I remembered from Mathew Reed's account of this story.  If I'm off a little or if there is more to add, I will leave that to the Brother, but that's how I remember it.  This pretty much sum's up what davis is all about.  He is a control mongering manipulator.

I will always choose to Remember Mom and Pop Gaylord in a good light as many others also remember them.  I corresponded with them through letters; and they always wrote me back.  I sent one letter to davis about Ange in which I apologized for breaking bible school rules and writing a letter to her; but he never responded.  Mom and Pop always seemed to have time for everyone.  They once told me that Davis should have nothing to say about who I write to or talk to.  I have it in writing and it is on this blog in the letters from the past post [read more >>].

True UNCONDITIONAL Love vs. ABUSIVE MANIPULATIVE 'Love': Why We Join and Stay in Cults

We have read another excellent article on the web site Religious Cults Info titled:

Adulation - the Drug of Choice

Here is one brief sample:  

"They say how grateful they are to be at WOFF, how grateful they are that Jane and Sam laid down their life and have done the work God called them to do."

Reading through, we realized that all we had to do was substitute ntcc in for WOFF and rodger w davis / michael c kekel in for Jane Whaley and the article became a "spot on" description of  ntcc:

"They say how grateful they are to be at [ntcc], how grateful they are that [davis] and [kekel] laid down their life and have done the work God called them to do."

And here is a second brief but insightful sample from The Author:

"Yes, like bookends, some folks may put a phrase like; Jesus showed me on one end and a thank you, Jesus on the other. But, the center of worship at WOFF is undeniably – Jane."  

Which transposes thus: 

"Yes, like bookends, some folks may put a phrase like; [The Holy Ghost] showed me on one end and a thank you, [Holy Ghost] on the other. But, the center of worship at [ntcc] is undeniably – [davis and kekel]."

At first it seems amazing to see the same methods used by the leader of a different abusive group resulting in the same praise and idolatrous worship of that leader; but in retrospect it only makes sense.  Con-men and -women use whatever techniques bring them the best result$, so no wonder if the methodology is the same! 

Another important point brought out in The Author's discourse was this:  "Why?"

People who have not been through the cult experience often ask this vital question: 

WHY DID YOU JOIN  AND STAY? 

To this we left the following comment:

"The answer, we feel, ultimately revolves around True Love demonstrated by the members and abusive, quantified (if you love me, then you will ______) demonstrated by the cult leaders.

As for the “Why did we stay and do what we did?” question, the answer is simple:

LOVE

We love(d) God and thought loving them was equal to serving God. They used our love against us for their own self-profiting reasons. It is a difficult reality to face having been used; but once we accept this fact it helps clear things up with respect to motives (theirs and ours) and actions (theirs and ours). Like any other user, a love-thief mimics the phraseology of the victims stating: “I love you.” knowing the victims will interpret that statement as meaning what it does when they say “I love YOU.”–unconditional love. But truly the love-thief only means “I love what you DO for me.” The true test of the love-thief’s statement comes when you stop performing to their standards or stop supplying their “fix”. Typically the love-thief will upbraid, ridicule, or ostracize you, proving they did not in fact “love” YOU; they only loved what you DID for them..."

This reminded us of an e-mail to another X-er where we probed further:

WE FELL FOR IT BECAUSE SO MUCH OF WHAT THEY TAUGHT WAS TRUE; BUT JUST AS sATAN ONLY CHANGED OR ADDED ONE WORD TO THE COMMANDMENT "THOU SHALT NOT SURELY DIE." THEY CHANGED AND ADDED TO THE SCRIPTURE TO TWIST IT FOR THEIR SELFISH AGENDAS.  

IT HURT(S) SO BADLY BECAUSE WE LOVE(D) THEM.

AND JUST AS IN ALL OTHER ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS,

THE ABUSER BLAMES THE VICTIM:

"LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!!!"

Or, "You people make the rules." comes to mind, as often as we in ntcc have heard r w davis shout that at us.

--THAT'S WHY NOTHING WE DID WAS EVER GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEM. AND WHY THE RULES ALWAYS HAD TO CHANGE: "YOU PEOPLE MAKE THE RULES"--rodger w. davis.  uhn-huh, sure, whatever...

THE TRAGIC FACT IS THEY SOLD OUT CHRIST FOR FILTHY LUCRE AND NOW HAVE TO WRESTLE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES AS THEY USED TO WREST THE SCRIPTURES FOR THEIR "PRIVATE BENEFIT".

THEY WILL NEVER BE HAPPY AND CAN THEREFORE NEVER BE SATISFIED WITH THEMSELVES AND THEREFORE NEVER SATISFIED WITH OTHERS.

THIS IS POWERFUL STUFF.

THOUGH OBVIOUS AND BASIC WHEN SEEN FROM AN OBJECTIVE STANDPOINT, IT IS 'QUITE SOMETHING ELSE WHEN YOU ARE THERE'--PARAPHRASING THE OLD LADY SURVIVOR IN TITANIC AS SHE ANSWERS THE ALL-TOO-EAGER QUESTIONS OF THOSE WHO FOUND THE WRECKAGE. THEY ARE ZEALOUS, BUT HAVE FORGOTTEN THE TRAGEDY, THE REALITY OF THE ETERNAL LOSS OF SOULS.... SHE, HOWEVER, WHO WAS THERE, AND YOUNG AND VIBRANT AND IN LOVE, CAN NEVER FORGET WHAT WAS REALLY LOST. LIFE. LOVE. DREAMS. GOALS. SOULS.

ALL OF THIS ADDRESSES THE VICTIM'S SIDE OF THAT FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION: WHY?--TRUTH AND LOVE. THE ABUSERS ANSWER TO WHY: GREED. GREED FOR POWER. GREED FOR MONEY. GREED FOR CONTROL. sATANISM AT ITS CORE: I WILL ASCEND... I WILL BE GOD. I. I. I...[Isa 14:12-15, Luke 10:18] 

THE REST OF THAT THOUGHT ON THE ABUSER/VICTIM RELATIONSHIP IS THIS:

THE MIND-NUMBING, BONE-CHILLING, KNIFE-TO-THE-HEART-AND-TWIST-TRUTH IS:

WE, THE VICTIMS, ARE STILL WAITING FOR WHAT WILL NEVER COME:
