Caring For The Widow? Sister Linda Hasty

Linda Hasty

Today I woke up and was thinking again of Sister Linda Hasty.  Yesterday I was wondering if the ntcc had tried to grab her house, the way they did to Rich Hampton when his wife Penny left him and their four kids for Ashmore's son - read more.  Did the org step in and try to help the man  heal?  No.  They match-made him with Diana Marshall after her husband Mike left her and her sons in the Philippines. Did the org. give the newlyweds time to heal?  No.  They ordered Hampton to move to Mexico, Missouri to build a work for ntcc there in a town close to the ntcc national campground.  I don't know how things are in your world, but most people agree that when you have a wife who doesn't work (since the org. forbids married women [in the U.S.] to hold paying jobs) and you have four children, money can be tight.  Did the org. offer to help Rich Hampton make this move?  Nope.  So he put his home and land on the market.  Did ntcc recognize his dedication to God and commend him for making such a sacrifice?  Nah.  Instead, according to Vic Johanson, they tried to low-ball him by offering him less-than-market value on his property.  When he refused to sell to the ntcc, Eli (Elliot) Gesang got all upset in his grill, upbraiding him for not selling his property to the ntcc.  Does that sound Christ-like to you?  Nope.  So Rich and Diana and their kids move to Mexico, Missouri to build the ntcc church there.  Having an injured back Mr. Hampton is unable to work, and his wife Diana, who used to run her own bakery (pre-ntcc, of course) is "not allowed" to work.  So, they need a place to stay.  The workers in Mexico, the Dicksons, offer the only space they have, an old dilapidated garage.  So why is this ntcc minister and his family living in an old garage?  They have given all they have to the work of the borg.  Why didn't the ntcc let them stay at the national campground where there were hundreds of empty beds?  Why didn't the hireling who calls himself their pastor, rodger wilson davis, invite them to stay in his building on the campground called the Lodge?  It had six bedrooms, 2 and a half baths, a full kitchen, conference area, two sitting areas, fireplace etc. And that's not counting the master bedroom suite with full bath, parlour, and wrap-around balcony.  Does davis sound Christian to you, when he has the world's good and closes his bowels of compassion?  No.  We didn't think so either.  How do I know that happened?  I lived in the Lodge at this time so my husband Eric could help work on the campground along with Jan and Russ Mears.  I also knew that the Mears and Hamptons were close friends.  I believe Russ went to bat for Rich and asked davis to allow them to stay at the Lodge; but instead davis left them in a garage with oil soaked rags that I saw with my own two eyes and mystified broken heart.

So what does this have to do with Linda Hasty?  You may ask that.  But it has everything in the world to do with Linda.  The fact is, the org. called ntcc cares nothing at all for you.  They have demonstrated it over and over again throughout the years.  The Hampton's Homeless illustration is just one of many ntcc stories of abuse.  So I am well within the mark to wonder about Linda Hasty and how she has been treated by this real estate corporation that masquerades as a non-profit church called New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc. LLC.

I also wondered, today, if the org. had convinced Linda to relocate.  My first three guesses would be Graham, WA, St. Louis, MO, or Phoenix, AZ.  If not, my next guess would be that the org might send in a few carefully selected single brothers to take over the Louisville ntcc church, or send some revival preaching divorced brothers in hopes of match-making this widow as quickly as possible, to keep her in the organization while freeing the church from having to provide for her.  That sounds nasty, doesn't it?  Well, don't hate us.  I mean, you can if you want; but truly the hate or blame should be aimed at the perpetrators who do such things, the ntcc 'leadership'.  They really do match-make people and manipulate relationships as a reward or bonus to keep certain individuals in the borg.  You don't think so?  Think again.  Open your eyes.  Why do you think so many of you men have been single for ten, twenty, thirty plus years, while davis and kekel kronies who work in the office or on the building crew have two or three ntcc brides?  Hmmn?  Why does the borg require you to get permission before speaking to members of the opposite gender?  Why does the ntcc regulate dating down to a controlled conversation on a wall in the fellowship hall?  It is manipulation.  Please don't try to tell me they are trying to protect you.  That is such a lie.  They have repeatedly covered up situations of spouse and child abuse; and that has been testified to on the various blogs and Factnet (see related posts at the bottom of this article for more info).  They don't care about you.  Single women are used like a bone for a dog, to be a reward for the men the ntcc wants to keep around.  Period.  The non-existent dating situation in ntcc is so bad, and without any Christian integrity.  Men have literally lined up to get permission to talk to women whose husbands are separated but not divorced.  That's not Christian.  Neither is the ntcc system.

So, I certainly did wonder how Linda Hasty is doing and how the borg is trying to handle her.  From past experience I have witnessed numerous times all of these things described here.  My questions are legitimate and without malice.  I sincerely wonder how is this widow woman doing?  From what I have seen in the past, I fear for what the ntcc may try to do to her, when instead they should be caring for her.  But caring for the widow, fatherless and orphan is not the ntcc way.  And if they have repented and done something right, then thank an Xer for eXposing the ntcc skeletons and shaming them into repentance!

Doctrinal Statement XV - Tithes in Your NTCC

Another ntcc minister gets his
'green' off your tithe dollars!

While reading the ntcc's doctrinal statement we find that the very last statement is labeled XV - Tithes    This is what it states word for word:

We recognize the scriptural duty of all people, as well as ministers, to pay tithes unto the Lord (Hebrews 7:8).  Tithes should be used for the support of the active ministry and for the propagation of the Gospel and work of the Lord, and are not to be given to charity or used for other purposes.  (Malachi 3:7-11) (Hebrews 7:2) (1 Corinthians 9:7-11; 16:2)

This one paragraph sums up the ntcc in a nutshell.  It openly displays the hypocrisy of the ntcc leadership, their ability to twist scriptures and never be questioned; and it shows that they are liars and con-artists.  How many people have read this doctrinal statement and never looked up or studied the scriptures? Shame on you, ntcc-ers for going with the flow and believing this hogwash.

Heb 7:8 "And here men that die receive tithes, but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth."

Does this scripture in any way imply that God requires men in the New Testament to receive tithes?  This passage refers to Melchisedec receiving tithes of Abraham; (Which were never demanded or asked for), but given freely.  Now the ntcc has always preached that because Abraham paid tithes before the law, this somehow means that tithe is carried over into the New Testament.  Abraham also gave blood sacrifices, but why is it that this sacrament wasn't carried over into the New Testament?  The ntcc translates "men that die" receiving tithes to mean that they are commanded to receive tithes?  Why would Jesus, Paul and the apostles be so specific about sins, and be so vague about paying tithes?  Why is it that the New Testament never listed "NOT PAYING TITHE" as a sin; but the ntcc preaches that if you don't pay tithe you will go to hell?  It's not a mystery or a hidden secret.  The author of Hebrews went on to say in Heb 7:18 "For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof."  The ntcc leaders know this and they purposely have twisted the scripture to become rich.  We all know that the law was done away with or fulfilled by the sacrifice of the Son of God.

The ntcc doctrinal statement says: "We recognize the scriptural duty of all people, as well as ministers, to pay tithes unto the Lord."

Will somebody please show us where the New Testament says that our scriptural duty is to pay tithe?  And to whom do Davis and Kekel pay tithe?  While you are at it, can you show us anywhere in the bible where tithe is defined as 10% cash on the barrel head before Uncle Sam gets his? There are hundreds of scriptures that speak of tithe in both Testaments of the Bible.  I have a challenge for any of you ntcc-ers out there.  Think for yourselves just this one time.  Study this out for yourselves.  Don't ask your Pastor to explain it to you.  You preachers that have dedicated decades of your lives to the ministry, stop towing the company line and think for yourselves just this once.

"Bless The Man Of Gawd" = "It Is Corban, That is to say, a gift.":

When tithe was discussed under the law it is for the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow.  Why does ntcc try to claim a Levitical right while forsaking the stranger, the fatherless, and the widows to fend for themselves?  The ntcc's top leaders are just like the hypocrites Jesus denounced as recorded in the gospel of Mark, chapter 7, especially:

Mar 7:9  And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Mar 7:10  For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

Mar 7:11  But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, [It is] Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; [he shall be free].

Mar 7:12  And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

Mar 7:13  Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

The ntcc hirelings are money-grubbers who teach that men should break the commandment of God to honor their parents - literally to give them money, just so that those hirelings can get their own grubby mittens on your money.

They are USING Christ to gain profit and making the word of God of none effect through tradition they deliver.  If tithe, as set up by God, was for the Levite AND the stranger AND the fatherless AND the widow, why does ntcc only teach about tithe being THEIR income, but neglect THE STRANGER, THE FATHERLESS  and THE WIDOW??? (Please take a moment to read the verses attached to those words by clicking the fatherless).  ntcc wants your cash, plain and simple.  You don't think so?  Well, just walk up to your ntcc 'pastor' hireling and announce that you are going to pay your tithe to an orphanage, to a refugee immigrant, or to your mom, a widow and watch them blow their stacks like Mt. Vesuvius erupting.  Or better yet, just obey God without announcing anything to the hirelings.  If they ask about your missing tithe money, just point them to this article.  :-)

Family First:
Did you know that as a Christian your first duty is not to fund the church?  Your first duty is to your family.  Look at what God says:

1Ti 5:3  Honour widows that are widows indeed.

1Ti 5:4  But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

The ntcc adds to the scripture and puts their money-grubbing hirelings first in line for your cash. But God says to honour widows, learn first to shew piety at home, requite parents, provide for your own, specially those of your own house.  If you don't God says you're worse than an infidel:

1Ti 5:8  But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

The ntcc's top leaders are no different than the hypocrites Jesus rebuked for calling their money-grubbing gifts "Corban", [or in ntcc-speak "blessing the man of Gawd"] when all they wanted was a profit off of the name of Christ!

Why is it that tithe is so important to the ntcc? Hmmn?   Is it really supposed to be emphasized in every church service?  Did you ever see Jesus demanding tithe each time He went to the synagogue or temple?  All accounts of tithe in the bible refer to agricultural gifts and the purpose of it was to support the Levitical Priesthood which had no inheritance of their own.  Now this has been covered many times on the blogs; and there has not been one ntcc-er that can justify preaching that people will go to hell if they don't pay their tithes.  So what are we to conclude?  What is the purpose in the ntcc for receiving tithes?  Let's continue.  This is what the ntcc doctrinal statement has to say about it:

Tithes should be used for the support of the active ministry and for the propagation of the Gospel and work of the Lord, and are not to be given to charity or used for other purposes.  (Malachi 3:7-11) (Hebrews 7:2) (1 Corinthians 9:7-11; 16:2)

 Oxen treading 'corn' or grain.

Piled higher and deeper, the ntcc claims that the tithes "should be used" for the support of the active ministry and for the propagation of the Gospel.  How does living in million dollar mansions propagate the Gospel?  How does sending your son to an expensive private college-prep(atory) school propagate the Gospel?  How does driving around in a car that cost a quarter of a million dollars propagate the Gospel?  How is buying expensive and useless furniture to adorn the Kekels' mansion supporting the active ministry?  Even if God did require us to pay tithe, do you think that He would have us sacrifice what little money we make so that the rich hirelings in the ntcc could have every amenity imaginable while we are expected to live off of $40 worth of groceries per week?  This is absurd; and you ntcc-ers are naive and gullible and borderline mentally dysfunctional if you think this is what God's plan for your future involves.  The ntcc is a dying organization; and the only reason that they still exist is that they have compromised so many of the standards that they once used to run people off.  They are liars and swindlers, cheating you out of your money.  Let's look at the three remaining scriptures that the ntcc doctrinal statement has twisted and taken out of context.

Malachi 3:7-11  These are the verses that the ntcc leadership uses to classify people as "God robbers".  The prophet Malachi spoke of the children of Israel not living according to the law.  He spoke of a storehouse in which people would bring their tithes which were agricultural offerings to support the Levitical priesthood.  The ntcc would also like to have a "storehouse"; but they want it to be full of your dollar bills.  Their storehouse is a vault or an (offshore?) bank account from which they can write unlimited checks for whatever purpose they desire.  We were total idiots for listening to these religious hucksters.  In the grand scheme of things, God rebuked the people in the Old Testament very little for not paying tithe in total contrast to the ntcc; which requires their ministers to demand tithe and offering in every church service.  Wake up! ntcc's lust for tithe is only all about the money for them. It always has been, and always will be.

Hebrews 7:2 "To whom Abraham gave a tenth part of all"...   It's interesting how this scripture found its way into the ntcc's propaganda ... oops, I mean, 'doctrinal statement'.  They want to make sure you give a tenth of all.  The ntcc really only wants a tenth of all your money.  They don't want you to bring them any fruits or vegetables.  They don't want any Cattle as Abraham brought.  They want to buy themselves Cadillacs with cash only.  They want ONLY your money:  CASH ONLY.  That means No receipts and No paper trail.  Oh Boy!    "All Christians pay tithes and give in offerings."  is the standardized ntcc mantra; that is required to be said at least one time in every church service.  If a ntcc preacher does that, soon he will believe it; and his congregation will believe it; and everything will be just wonderful for the Graham, WA hypocrite phat cats  who get the private benefit from this so-called non-profit CORPORATION receiving its membership dues under the guise of 'religious offerings' and 'tithes'.  Okay, let's move on to the next scripture that the ntcc chose to justify their greediness.

1 Corinthians 9:7-11  It's alright to follow along in your bibles and verify these verses.  We know the ntcc doesn't want you to bring your bible to church; but it's safe to open it now.  We won't tell on you or blast you from the pulpit for being noble like the folks in Berea.  You won't get jacked up here; and we don't want to drag this out any longer than necessary.  We trust you to read it for yourselves.

ntcc hirelings want you to think
of them as oxen treading corn;
we say that's a lot of bull! ;-)

In this bible reading Paul mentions not to muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn.  Meaning that the ox is doing the work; and if you allow him to munch down on some of the corn, he might be a happier ox and will undoubtedly be strengthened to carry out his mission.  It doesn't say anything about taking up an offering for the ox so he can wear a Rolex watch or live in a million dollar barn.  Paul said in 1 Cor 9:11:  "If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?"  Has anyone found a hidden reference in this scripture that says anything about 10% Cash?  In the next verse (1 Cor 9:12, which was so conveniently left out of the ntcc doctrinal statement) we find that Paul, according to the ntcc, has condemned a lot of people to hell; because he states:  "Never the less, we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the Gospel of Christ."  And then he goes on to repeat this a second time in 1 Cor 9:15:  "But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, then that any man should make my glorying void."  Maybe Paul knew that riches corrupt men and wanted to leave an example of how ministers really should conduct themselves.

ntcc wants to claim apostolic
status; let them follow the
fine example of the Apostle
Paul who willingly put the

 muzzle on himself so as
not to hinder the gospel!

ntcc also claims:  Tithes ... are not to be given to charity or used for other purposes. That is in direct violation of God's command that tithes are to be used not just for the Levite, but also for the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow.  But that isn't how ntcc, a self-proclaimed "business" and "organization" operates.  So I guess that if you were to give 10% of your income to a family whose house burnt down, you would be disobeying God [according to ntcc] who intended for you to give your money to someone like Kekel or Davis who is going to use it to buy themselves more expensive and useless things to add to their collections. Your tithe belongs to the fat ntcc Oxen that tread out the corn, and they really tread hard so keep them green backs coming in. Since they are laying prostrate before God, begging God for messages and sacrificing for you to hear the Gospel preached, you need to support them full time.

They are not going to get a job like Paul. Could you imagine Davis making tents? He has no problem being a burden to the work of the Lord and neither does Kekel. Could you imagine what kind of organization the ntcc could have been if they actually used tithe dollars to reach and help people? Do you think Davis and Kekel really do a lot of praying: "Oh God please burden their hearts to give more money so I can finance an upgrade to a more expensive mansion"! [Click to see pics of ntcc mansions]  I mean what could they possibly pray about: "Oh God, please forgive me for taking advantage of the brethren that are struggling to get by, and for demanding that they give us money so we can live high on the hog while they struggle to pay rent and buy groceries"! "You know I need that new rifle for my collection, or a new Car, oh God".

Let's look at the last twisted scripture used in the ntcc's indoctrinating statement.

1 Corinthians 16:2  "Upon the first day of the week, let everyone lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come."

Wow!  No gatherings?  No offerings in a church service?  Are you kidding me?  I can't recall one church service that I've ever been to where there have not been any offerings taken up.  Now what does the ntcc actually glean from this scripture?  They assume that because Paul said, "Upon the first day of the week" that this is the closest thing that they can find to use as a model for paying tithe; and it is also a scripture that is thrown around a lot to pay for the diesel fuel in their Recreational Vehicles prior to the rich snobbish Pharisees 'blessing' you with their presence to preach a revival or even one service.

It's Vacation Time Again, Honey!  So
Let's Fire Up Our Recreational Vehicle!
Those Dumb G.I.s are gonna waste
their money anyway; let's get some!

ntcc used to take up hundreds of dollars in offerings prior to the Board Member's arrival so that the BMs  wouldn't have to do the dirty work themselves.  All Davis had to do was mention this scripture during conference and any Board Member would immediately have an all expense paid vacation across the United States or overseas, compliments of, in davis' words "Dumb G.I.s who are only going to waste their money anyway".  Wisdom crieth without, she uttereth her voice in the streets!  How long will ye simple ones love simplicity?  Turn you at my reproof... taken from Proverbs 1:20-23

What will it take for you to learn?  Will you be a "dumb G.I."?  Or will you turn at wisdom's reproof?  How many decades of your life will you have to spend, trapped in a cult that only cares about how they can use and abuse you?  How many more thousands of dollars will you have to spend to 'earn' their love and respect?  [If you have to 'earn' it, that 'love' is not real love.  It is conditional and phony flattery, like davis telling you "I appreciate you."  That is so lame.  What does that really mean?  So long and thanks for all the cash, sucka?]  True love is a gift.  It cannot be earned.  [Please pay attention to the images of diamond [pinky] rings and plates of cash and the sports car in the following video.  It is so fitting, truly evocative of the ntcc system.]

Some of you have given tens of thousands of dollars; and there are some that have given hundreds of thousands of dollars to these con-artists.  Your money is not going towards souls.  The ntcc has decreased in size, compromised and consolidated to survive.  People have left by the scores, not because God could not keep them; but because they realized they were being used by a bunch of hypocrites.  But ntcc claims that God has changed His mind about the things that for years were their cornerstone doctrines; and now they can compromise or forsake what they used to teach as heaven or hell issues.  All of the sudden in ntcc it's okay to watch the devil-vision TV and to surf the sinner-net internet.  Why did God change His mind on these things?  The money supply was being choked off as people woke up and left the ntcc!

When will you wake up?  Can you see their false doctrine?  How about the ntcc disregarding the Word of God concerning divorce and remarriage?  In ntcc it's always been okay to divorce and remarry for reasons other than fornication or adultery.  But that is not God's will.  People, please read your bibles and rightly divide the Word of Truth.  Then ask yourself, do you fear man or God?  Will you disobey God to follow a man's false doctrines?  Or will you see that man as a false teacher, a false prophet, and be unafraid to leave him alone.  You won't change him.  But you don't have to partake of his sins.  Just leave them alone and follow God.  You will be glad you did!

In Memory of Pastor Eduardo "Eddie" Ramirez Jr.

On January 31st of 2013, the Pastor and Director of the Ft. Sill, Oklahoma New Testament Christian Church and Servicemen's Home passed away.  Rev. Ramirez was my Pastor in Korea, during my tour from 92 to 93 while stationed near Camp Casey, Korea.  It was both sad and shocking to hear of this and from what we know it was sudden and unexpected.  I have very fond memories of both Pastor and Sister Ramirez and while I was living in the Servicemen's Home we had some very good times.

Pastor Ramirez
Nov. 20, 1959 -
Jan. 31, 2013

The system in the ntcc didn't allow for a whole lot of fun, we stayed busy pounding the streets and trying to get people saved and faithfully attending church and somehow within that system we managed to have some enjoyable experiences.

Schmidtke Wedding Korea

We understand that there are folks that have had bad experiences with Rev. Ramirez.  While we understand that many have had difficult times with their ntcc pastors my personal experience with Rev. Ramirez was mostly positive.

To Sister Ramirez, all we can say is that we are very sorry for your loss and can't imagine what you must be going through.  We hope and pray that God will carry you through this difficult time.  I know that we are probably considered public enemy number one by many in the ntcc, and we definitely have voiced our opinions publicly, but for now, we wish in respect and humility to offer our sincere condolences to you for a man that was greatly loved and respected by many.

Arrangements in Lawton, OK are being handled by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home 580-353-2940.

Who Needs Life Insurance? In Memory Of Robert A. Briggs

[It is] better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that [is] the end of all men; and the living will lay [it] to his heart. Ecc 7:2

It looks like many of the old timers in the ntcc are starting to age; and along with old age comes a whole slew of health problems, some of which can be terminal.  Back in the 80's and 90's most ntcc ministers were pretty young; and it seemed like there wasn't much to worry about in those days.  How many times did we hear the words, "Who needs life insurance?" followed by "We have life assurance!" and every one shouted "Amen"!  Back in those days Life Insurance was preached against.  So much was said about laying up your treasure in heaven and God taking care of us that very few ever prepared for the future, for their wives or their families.

Well, it turns out that nobody is exempt from sickness and as more and more ntcc'rs get old we are finding out that ntcc'rs are just as susceptible to death as the rest of us.  Now there may be differences in opinion as to who is ready to die and who is not, but in spite of everything preached and all of the bold statements about "the rest of the world" we are finding out that sickness and death is no respecter of persons.

There is a culture in the ntcc that is almost unheard of in many other churches and society in general.  This is how things work in the ntcc.  A man marries a woman, or young girl.  The man is the provider and works, while the woman takes care of the man.  In the old days the man would get a vasectomy because they were told that children hinder the work of the Lord.  This policy didn't go over very well and a few years later men started getting tired of shooting blanks, so they got their vasectomies reversed.  Many were rebellious and had "filthy evil children" anyway.  Now we have families in the ntcc that need to be provided for.  We will come back to this explanation of how things work in the ntcc in just a moment.

I don't know how to say this without being really blunt or offending anyone; but it needs to be said so others can learn.  People in the ntcc are starting to die off and they have made very little preparation for their wives and children.  In all of their preparation for heaven and trying to live up to all of the ntcc standards and jump through all of the ntcc hoops, they are leaving their families without much of anything.  Why is this alarming?  Because the same preachers that will take up offerings to buy Rolex watches for a multimillionaire real estate tycoon will not set aside a few bucks a week to insure their families are provided for if anything happens to them.  This is sick behavior; and it has nothing to do with God.  If you really think that it is more important to take up an offering purchase a watch, gun, knife, Cadillac or anything for a  multimillionaire than it is to provide for your family there is something wrong with your relationship with God.

This brings us back to the previous paragraph.  How things work in the ntcc.  The man gets sick, has no health or life insurance, and dies.  The widow hasn't had a job in decades and has children to provide for.  What happens next is even more sick.  The woman is usually left with very little and must get a job.  Finding a job that doesn't interfere with the ntcc schedule is hard enough if you are a skilled laborer with years of experience, but for a glorified house wife with no job history it is much harder.  The widow has no credentials and is left in a desperate situation.  The widow is now very vulnerable and becomes desperate to provide for her children.

The ntcc recycle center is now open for business.  There are only two choices when it's all said and done.  Remarry or leave ntcc, which we all know is, according to the ntcc, akin to leaving God.   You may ask, "What kind of sick person would put a Christian sister in that kind of position?"   The ntcc does this and thinks nothing of it.  What is even more sad about this whole thing is that the woman will marry another preacher and go through this whole cycle again.  In many cases the man is less established and financially secure than the one he is replacing.

We are not directing this to any individual; and if you are in this situation we feel bad for you and wish you didn't go through it.  But this stuff has been covered on the blogs so many times that it would be hard to count.  Many have ignored Chief, and GS/DS and many others that have breached this topic.  Greg was very concerned about his wife's future to the extent that he expressed his concerns to the borg leadership and got nowhere but blacklisted and mocked.  That is nothing but foolishness.  How can you watch as RWD, Kekel and their close family and friends get richer and richer while your family's basic needs go unmet?

You don't need to give another dime to world missions, or to some overseer that stops by in an expensive recreational vehicle on an all expense paid vacation across the country to blast you and your congregation for not giving enough for the lost and dying souls.  You are stupid if you give in an offering for a multimillionaire real estate tycoon.  Why would such a person need your money to purchase a rolex watch?  How blind can you be?  You are a bunch of suckers and it makes me mad, because I was just like you at one time.  Do you think on the day of judgement that God is really going to say, "Well done my good and faithful servant, you bought a rich pharisee named R-dub a Rolex watch, while your family had to settle for kook store wardrobes and was left nothing when you died"?  You shouldn't send another dime to Graham until you take care of your family.

Family is more important than a filthy rich church leader.  The Bible does not say "He who provideth not for the ntcc preacher is worse than an infidel".  Wake up and get your priorities straight.  Take care of the ones that really matter in your life, then in good conscience you can give freely and willfully to God.

 R. Briggs
This blog post was written a few weeks ago but we decided to hold off on posting it.  Today we found out that Pastor Briggs passed away and we feel the need to share this information with anyone that will listen.  When we first started blogging we got into a major confrontation on Chief's blog with Rev. Briggs and we disagreed on quite many issues.  One thing I will say is that Rev. Briggs did show concern for many of the complaints we had of corruption in the ntcc and even admitted that there were things that were not right.  He was one of the few that actually had dialogue with X-members of the ntcc and was not afraid to publicly post his opinions.

I have to say that in spite of all of our differences we are saddened by the passing of Rev. R.A. Briggs.  It makes me sick that the last weeks and months of his life were consumed with the uncertainty of how his family would be provided for.  What does 25+ years in the ntcc get you?  Your loved ones are reduced to having to organize sporting events with other churches to raise a few hundred bucks so that the surviving family could have a few bucks to move to St. Louis or Graham.   You leave this world with no assurance that your family is going to be taken care of.  You pay tithe and give in offerings for decades while sending scores of tithe payers off to bible school.  You sacrifice everything to include health and life insurance to please the filthy rich ring leaders of your church organization and they give nothing in return for the decades of faithful service you have given them.  Meanwhile they live in complete luxury, lacking nothing.  This is your ntcc and you can have it.  But you don't have to live like that.  Won't you lay these things to your heart and make a change before it is too late for you and your family?

Scamming God's People - Flippin' Churches Part 3

Just a hop, skip and a jump from the NTCC National Campground Resort lies the small town of Auxvasse, Missouri, population 983 [as of 2010 census] and total land area of 0.7 square miles (according to Wikipedia / Auxvasse).

Back in October of 2011 the NTCC was embroiled in a real-estate scandal there, when they purchased a local church's building without the consent of that congregation, doubtless all with the approval of the real-estate savvy NTCC Board Members who do not allow anyone to do anything without their permission.

"Doris Brooks, the widow of the last deacon, sold the property to New Testament Christian Church pastor Toby Hanson and his wife Michele for $3,000. Second Baptist members, however, do not think Brooks had rights to the property."  Natalie Cheng, KOMU News Reporter

We Ask:

  • Would the ntcc take advantage of a grieving widow?
  • Would the ntcc real-estate experts steal a church building from a congregation?
  • Would the ntcc then try to pass-off the blame on some front-line minister?
  • Would the minister leave his wife out there to answer for these things?
  • Doesn't the ntcc require YOU to get permission before YOU purchase anything?  YES.

"Congregation members said that even if the Hansons were unaware of the congregation's presence, they hope the Hansons would re-evaluate their actions now the congregation has come forward."

We are doing our part to help not only the Hansons re-evaluate, but the true culprits, the ntcc real-estate moguls; who have been scamming people for years.  We are prodding them to examine their actions and to remember the words of our LORD:

"Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself."

In laymen's terms, this has been interpreted as:

DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE OTHERS DO UNTO YOU.

  • Would YOU really want someone to take advantage of your widow?
  • Would you want a church that was your property to be sold out from under you without your consent or knowledge?
  • Would you want your wife to be blamed for something when it had the approval of the NTCC Board Members?
  • What kind of a church or so-called Christian does these things? YOUR NTCC!

Playing The Blame Game?

"Michele Hanson said Brooks approached them about the property, and she felt she was doing a favor to Brooks by pledging to maintain the building."

We gotta say; this reminds us of the Garden Of Eden blame game.   Where Adam, who was charged with dressing and keeping the garden, blames Eve; who blames the serpant.  C'mon now.  Can we get a witness?  "Amen!"

How's Attendance in YOUR NTCC?

"The church had not been in use for a number of years due to the condition of the building."

Wow, Second Baptist must really have it going on!  They haven't used their building "for a number of years"; yet when the congregation showed up, there were more people there then in NTCC churches that have been up and running for years!  LOL!

A Church With No Members?

And why was it so hard for the board overseeing this sale to find this congregation?  Wouldn't a simple poster or two on the door or a notice in the local news suffice to "find the congregation"?  C'mon now.  It is what it is.

What Is NTCC Thinking?

Take a close look at the inside and outside of this building in the video at the bottom of this post.  We notice two things:
  1. The church in the video looks nothing like what ntcc has as their picture of the Auxvasse, MO church on the NTCC Church Locator Site.
  2. The church building in the video is in need of serious repair.
Let's examine these two issues.

Which Church Is It?

Another Fixer Upper:

Clearly the church in the video is in need of serious repair.  If you're "in" NTCC you know what that means:  A)  Time for the local minister to "Make It Happen" and / or B)  Time to call in those so-called 'independent contractors' (the NTCC building crew) and get busy flipping this church building.

Once the building is looking fine, the local minister and his wife can get busy recouping the NTCC corporate's expenditures, pumping the congregation for a "Building Fund" and "Sunday Night Budget Offering", in every service commanding them, the way the NTCC requires its ministers to announce in every service:

"ALL CHRISTIANS PAY TITHES AND GIVE IN OFFERINGS."

Once the congregation is large enough, and the funds have all been recovered (and then some) and held in the bank escrow account controlled by Graham, Wa. NTCC Corporate Headquarters, then it's time to move the couple who "made it happen" and bring in some other blood.

In fact, with the eXposure this story brings, NTCC has the perfect reason to move the Hansons and bring in an abusive jerk to get rid of any congregants.

That way the NTCC can flip the remodeled building for profit; coz that's how it is in YOUR NTCC. That's how they do it. The Go-Getters will be sent to another new work (read run-down building that needs to be repaired); and the cycle will repeat. Want to see how NTCC works it?

GO HANG YOURSELF ERIC J. BARDEN or UNITED WE STAND

Eric J. Barden

This page is a tribute to
Eric James Barden EJB
Apr. 2nd, 1962 ~ Dec. 7th, 2008

While at the NTCC National Campground one year, Eric and I had a rare opportunity to see a Snowy Egret. This beautiful bird landed at the western edge of the camp's lower lake which was partially shrouded in the foggy mist that rises from water in the autumn as the ambient air cools to temps below the water temperature. It was a special treat to see such a glorious creature on the camp; and Eric and I both treasured the event. The song below seems perfect for reflection on Eric, his life, and the things he cherished.

There is a section for comments located at the bottom of this page.

Fare Thee Well ~ 10,000 Miles
by Mary Chapin Carpenter
Fare Thee Well by Mary Chapin Carpenter 10,000 Miles Lyrics

Fare thee well
My own true love
Farewell for a while
I'm going away
But Ill be back
Though I go 10,000 miles

10,000 miles
My own true love
10,000 miles or more
The rocks may melt
And the seas may burn
If I should not return

Oh don't you see
That lonesome dove
Sitting on an ivy tree
She's weeping for
Her own true love
As I shall weep for mine

Oh come ye back
My own true love
And stay a while with me
If I had a friend
All on this earth
You've been a friend to me.

Eric was also a minister in the New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc., faithfully serving that organization for over 13 years.  During that time he married Angela. Below she shares about the events that led up to Eric's decision to leave the NTCC.

And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Died Abner as a fool dieth?
Thy hands [were] not bound, nor thy feet put into fetters: as a man falleth before wicked men, [so] fellest thou. ...
2 Samuel 3:33-34

GO HANG YOURSELF, ERIC J. BARDEN

Following is the true story of events leading up to Eric's leaving the New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc. If you knew Eric as I, his wife of 8 years did, you would know what a difficult and painful decision this was for him. But rodger wilson davis' callous treatment of Eric, refusing to provide safety equipment for him or let him work on a different project than a steep roof, despite Eric's 13+ years of faithful service to the NTCC was too much for him, so he left. Here is what happened:

In the past ntcc has successfully runoff various people by cutting them out one at a time and sending them packing. The ntcc knows that one person alone is less of a threat to their money-making empire than a whole group of people who demand to know where does the money go and what do the so-called leaders really do all day.

New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc., Obiturary, Eric James Barden EJB, NTCC, NTCCA
How davis saw you!
When Eric Barden struggled with working on a roof because he had no safety gear -- something the law requires the ntcc employer to supply -- davis told Eric, in effect, to go hang himself. davis had russ mears, Eric's friend and building crew foreman deliver the message to "tie a rope on" and george keener added "yeah, put it around your neck!"
Safety Gear

Each building crew member was put at risk that day to be forced to work without safety gear or "to go hang yourself".  davis won a dirty battle by singling out one person and forcing them to choose to do it his way or hit the highway.

The sad fact is that Eric was run off because he expected ntcc to pay for safety gear as the law requires of employers.

The dirty fact is that rodger w. davis was trying to force Eric into buying the safety gear from Eric's measly ntcc wages. [More on that scam later.]

For weeks Eric had worked on getting the ntcc building crew in Washington to send safety gear to the Missouri ntcc Campground. He wanted the building crew members there to be able to work safely without falling off the steeply pitched roof of the two-story-plus-high, hotel-style building that they were erecting for ntcc next to the main conference building (tabernacle) at the camp. Eric's persistence paid off, in part. His continual calls convinced the borg to send two small safety harnesses for a project that had four men working on it. So the two skinny, younger men, dustin smart and russ mears, got their safety equipment thanks to Eric's conscientious effort.  george  'dad' keener, being much older, was expected to work from the ground and would not need a harness. But Eric, who was not a small man, was not going to benefit from his labor [a pretty common theme for the workers in the ntcc, a multi-million dollar real estate corporation masquerading as a non-profit church]. There was no way either of the small harnesses would fit him or protect him.

So, the night before going up on that steep roof, Eric called rodger w. davis to plead one more time for safety gear, or the opportunity to work on another project. As usual, davis refused to answer the request at that time. [People in the ntcc and some reporters who have tried to speak with the ntcc leadership know that stonewalling or refusing to answer legitimate questions is a common stall and divert tactic employed by the borg 'leaders' and their cronies.]

The next morning russ mears had instructions from davis to tell Eric to "Tie a rope on!"

Those were the general's orders!

Though he was too much of a wimp to deliver the message himself! Instead davis decided to see if russ mears would still be loyal to rdub, even if it meant burning his long-time friend, Eric. Well, now we know the rest of the story. mears delivered the message, plunging the knife in and george keener gave it a twist, adding "Yeah, put it around your neck!" Does that sound like the love of God to you readers? I didn't think so either.

Eric worked that day, and was forced to risk injury and death because davis refuses to spend one penny on anyone but himself! What a selfish hypocrite davis is. He can demand that the ntcc buy him a new Cadillac every year; or when the odometer reaches 50,000 miles (whichever comes first); but don't you dare ask him to dip into the multi-million dollar coffers of the ntcc to buy safety gear. davis wants you to buy it yourself. Or, "If you don't like it... "Tie a rope on." and "Yeah, put it around your neck!"

People in ntcc should band together to give davis and his a strong message that mistreating one person is the same as mistreating them all.

People should band together and force ntcc to change or force ntcc to go on without them.
Divided people are conquered.  United people stand and win freedom.

What r w davis did to Eric James Barden was illegal!

He got away with it and other atrocities because others stood by and allowed their friend to suffer without anyone standing to help.

When we choose to do nothing to help, we are becoming a partaker in the sins of those who are hurting our brothers and sisters.

Think about it. Think about what davis, and kekel and those who run ntcc really represent. Think about their selfish lifestyles and large incomes and mansions and compare it to the lives of sacrifice lived by the many brothers and sisters around you and ask yourself: What is really going on here? Why are you helping the rich get richer?? while brothers and sisters who work faithfully every day go without basic necessities so davis and his can satisfy their lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and pride of life.

Will you continue to abandon hurting brothers and sisters and those who stand up against the evil? Or will you stand up for Jesus and the Christian way and do something to send the message to ntcc that hurting "the least of these" is the same as hurting Christ?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. Matthew 25:40

It is your choice.  Remember:

UNITED WE STAND

Don and Ange said...

Who says ntcc should provide safety gear for workers whose ultimate boss is r w davis?

Well, the law of the land does.

OSHA inspectors enforcing laws.

But ultimately the real authority comes from God who specifically instructed us about this very thing in the scripture:

When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence. Deuteronomy 22:8

THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HATH MADE

In the middle of July, 1991, Eric asked me to marry him.

I remember praying that God would allow R. W. Davis to perform the marriage for us.

He did.

Psalm 118:24

Was the theme of our wedding:

This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Over the years (and still today) I would learn the significance of this verse.

Praise God Who sees the end from the beginning!
