One woman reported that when she visited orphans in the Philippines, her ntcc 'pastor', james ross ashmore, wanted her to stop this good work, telling her:

"We [in ntcc] just don't do that.  [Don't visit orphans.]"

The Bible Says:

Jam 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.

ntcc is clearly a defiled religion before God and the Father!

Peter's Denial:

When I first started learning about the bible, I was surprised to find that some things in the bible were examples of what NOT to do.  For instance, Peter boasting he would follow Christ to death, when in actuality, the Lord had to pray that Peter's faith would not fail; as it is written:

Luk 22:31  ¶ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired [to have] you, that he may sift [you] as wheat:

Luk 22:32  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Luk 22:33  And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

Luk 22:34  And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

I used to think everything in the bible was something to imitate.  But this story of Peter's boasting taught me something.  Some things are recorded so we will not do them; so we will know what to avoid.  Look at this picture:

But it is best to follow God's plan.

I'm sure the people who made this cereal thought they were following a biblical pattern for a great meal.  But those who know that portion of the scripture, know it is an example of impending judgment:

Eze 4:9  (partial)  ¶ Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, ...

Eze 4:12  And thou shalt eat it [as] barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.

Eze 4:13  And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.

As even krazy kekel once pointed out, anything you cook over a flame absorbs the flavor of the smoke.  Think of mesquite barbecue (bbq)...  Ezekiel was not using wood, but dung to cook this food.  Eewww.  Yuck!  Clearly that is not something to be admired or imitated!

What NOT to do:

So just like those cereal manufacturers, some of you have joined ntcc, thinking it is an example of what to do; thinking they will teach you how to draw near to God.  But they are actually pushing you farther away from God, by teaching devilish doctrines of men.

Mar 7:13  Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Instead of the savor of life that comes from the Spirit-led walk of Christianity lived according to God's Word, the ntcc pattern yields a savor of death.

2Cr 2:14  Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

2Cr 2:15  For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

2Cr 2:16  To the one [we are] the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who [is] sufficient for these things?

2Cr 2:17  For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Will you choose to dwell in the demonic davis doctrine of death?  Or will you leave ntcc and pursue the liberty of life in Christ?  It is your choice.   Choose LIFE.  :o)

Who Needs Life Insurance? In Memory Of Robert A. Briggs

[It is] better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that [is] the end of all men; and the living will lay [it] to his heart. Ecc 7:2 

It looks like many of the old timers in the ntcc are starting to age; and along with old age comes a whole slew of health problems, some of which can be terminal.  Back in the 80's and 90's most ntcc ministers were pretty young; and it seemed like there wasn't much to worry about in those days.  How many times did we hear the words, "Who needs life insurance?" followed by "We have life assurance!" and every one shouted "Amen"!  Back in those days Life Insurance was preached against.  So much was said about laying up your treasure in heaven and God taking care of us that very few ever prepared for the future, for their wives or their families.

Well, it turns out that nobody is exempt from sickness and as more and more ntcc'rs get old we are finding out that ntcc'rs are just as susceptible to death as the rest of us.  Now there may be differences in opinion as to who is ready to die and who is not, but in spite of everything preached and all of the bold statements about "the rest of the world" we are finding out that sickness and death is no respecter of persons.

There is a culture in the ntcc that is almost unheard of in many other churches and society in general.  This is how things work in the ntcc.  A man marries a woman, or young girl.  The man is the provider and works, while the woman takes care of the man.  In the old days the man would get a vasectomy because they were told that children hinder the work of the Lord.  This policy didn't go over very well and a few years later men started getting tired of shooting blanks, so they got their vasectomies reversed.  Many were rebellious and had "filthy evil children" anyway.  Now we have families in the ntcc that need to be provided for.  We will come back to this explanation of how things work in the ntcc in just a moment.

I don't know how to say this without being really blunt or offending anyone; but it needs to be said so others can learn.  People in the ntcc are starting to die off and they have made very little preparation for their wives and children.  In all of their preparation for heaven and trying to live up to all of the ntcc standards and jump through all of the ntcc hoops, they are leaving their families without much of anything.  Why is this alarming?  Because the same preachers that will take up offerings to buy Rolex watches for a multimillionaire real estate tycoon will not set aside a few bucks a week to insure their families are provided for if anything happens to them.  This is sick behavior; and it has nothing to do with God.  If you really think that it is more important to take up an offering purchase a watch, gun, knife, Cadillac or anything for a  multimillionaire than it is to provide for your family there is something wrong with your relationship with God.

This brings us back to the previous paragraph.  How things work in the ntcc.  The man gets sick, has no health or life insurance, and dies.  The widow hasn't had a job in decades and has children to provide for.  What happens next is even more sick.  The woman is usually left with very little and must get a job.  Finding a job that doesn't interfere with the ntcc schedule is hard enough if you are a skilled laborer with years of experience, but for a glorified house wife with no job history it is much harder.  The widow has no credentials and is left in a desperate situation.  The widow is now very vulnerable and becomes desperate to provide for her children.

The ntcc recycle center is now open for business.  There are only two choices when it's all said and done.  Remarry or leave ntcc, which we all know is, according to the ntcc, akin to leaving God.   You may ask, "What kind of sick person would put a Christian sister in that kind of position?"   The ntcc does this and thinks nothing of it.  What is even more sad about this whole thing is that the woman will marry another preacher and go through this whole cycle again.  In many cases the man is less established and financially secure than the one he is replacing.

We are not directing this to any individual; and if you are in this situation we feel bad for you and wish you didn't go through it.  But this stuff has been covered on the blogs so many times that it would be hard to count.  Many have ignored Chief, and GS/DS and many others that have breached this topic.  Greg was very concerned about his wife's future to the extent that he expressed his concerns to the borg leadership and got nowhere but blacklisted and mocked.  That is nothing but foolishness.  How can you watch as RWD, Kekel and their close family and friends get richer and richer while your family's basic needs go unmet?

You don't need to give another dime to world missions, or to some overseer that stops by in an expensive recreational vehicle on an all expense paid vacation across the country to blast you and your congregation for not giving enough for the lost and dying souls.  You are stupid if you give in an offering for a multimillionaire real estate tycoon.  Why would such a person need your money to purchase a rolex watch?  How blind can you be?  You are a bunch of suckers and it makes me mad, because I was just like you at one time.  Do you think on the day of judgement that God is really going to say, "Well done my good and faithful servant, you bought a rich pharisee named R-dub a Rolex watch, while your family had to settle for kook store wardrobes and was left nothing when you died"?  You shouldn't send another dime to Graham until you take care of your family.

Family is more important than a filthy rich church leader.  The Bible does not say "He who provideth not for the ntcc preacher is worse than an infidel".  Wake up and get your priorities straight.  Take care of the ones that really matter in your life, then in good conscience you can give freely and willfully to God.

This blog post was written a few weeks ago but we decided to hold off on posting it.  Today we found out that Pastor Briggs passed away and we feel the need to share this information with anyone that will listen.  When we first started blogging we got into a major confrontation on Chief's blog with Rev. Briggs and we disagreed on quite many issues.  One thing I will say is that Rev. Briggs did show concern for many of the complaints we had of corruption in the ntcc and even admitted that there were things that were not right.  He was one of the few that actually had dialogue with X-members of the ntcc and was not afraid to publicly post his opinions.

I have to say that in spite of all of our differences we are saddened by the passing of Rev. R.A. Briggs.  It makes me sick that the last weeks and months of his life were consumed with the uncertainty of how his family would be provided for.  What does 25+ years in the ntcc get you?  Your loved ones are reduced to having to organize sporting events with other churches to raise a few hundred bucks so that the surviving family could have a few bucks to move to St. Louis or Graham.   You leave this world with no assurance that your family is going to be taken care of.  You pay tithe and give in offerings for decades while sending scores of tithe payers off to bible school.  You sacrifice everything to include health and life insurance to please the filthy rich ring leaders of your church organization and they give nothing in return for the decades of faithful service you have given them.  Meanwhile they live in complete luxury, lacking nothing.  This is your ntcc and you can have it.  But you don't have to live like that.  Won't you lay these things to your heart and make a change before it is too late for you and your family?

In Memory of Rev. Timothy P. Hasty

Recently we have learned of the passing of Rev. Tim Hasty; who was a long time minister of the ntcc and Pastor of the New Testament Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Although information is not public and very little is known, we knew that the Brother had been fighting cancer for some time and heard and verified through various channels that Bro. Hasty had recently passed away.

Tim Hasty invited me to church at Fort Gordon in 1983 while I was stationed there for AIT (Advanced Individual Training).  Bro. Hasty was a church member and fellow GI at the time; and I remember that day almost 30 years ago when he invited me to church.  He gave me a church card and told me about the services and the Servicemen's Home.  I told him I would come; but he seemed to not believe me; and he continued to tell me how important it was that I came; and with sincerity he told me, that a lot of people say they are going to come; but he was counting on me to keep my word.  He then asked me where my soul would spend eternity if I were to die at that moment.  I told him that I believed that I would go to hell.  If I remember right, he tried to get me to pray right on the sidewalk between the barracks.  Bro. Reginald Terry (who is currently Pastoring in Jackson, MS) was also there witnessing to me.

I came to church; and at the altar call I came forward and prayed for salvation.  Rev. Cyrius was the Pastor; and Rev. Hennis was the associate pastor; and it was Rev Hennis that prayed with me.  I didn't think God actually saved me at the time; because I had prayed before; and it didn't take.  I enjoyed the fellowship and continued to come to services; but there was no change on the inside right away.

Tim Hasty became a friend to me.

We would eat lunch together in the mess hall and would hang out at the home.  I was smoking and cursing during this time but not around the Christians.  It took about 3 months for me to let go and allow God to be real in my life.  In December of '83, I PCS'd to Ft. Benning, GA for jump school after leave at home.  On a weekend I jumped on a bus, without a parachute ;-), and went to Hephzibah, GA; and we all went on a road trip to a fellowship meeting; where I prayed with Donald Hummel (who was to be my future Pastor at Ft. Bragg) for and received the Holy Ghost Baptism.  At that time God gave me victory over drinking, smoking and cursing; and I actually started to live a Christian life and loved God.

Tim Hasty was a dear friend and brother during that time; but because of the system of control and isolation that existed within the ntcc, we grew apart.  Communication was discouraged; and we never wrote or called each other and would only briefly see each other during conferences; and it was just "Hello Brother".

I remember back to those early days when we would listen to the earliest Maranatha Praise albums; and we went on hikes through the woods having a lot of good fellowship and enjoying our salvation.  We were free in those days, and allowed to be ourselves.  Over time, though, the system of control and the unnecessary rules that were imposed on us changed the Reality that we once knew to drudgery; and we all became like robots.

Long time members of the ntcc know exactly what I'm talking about.  If they would be honest with themselves, they would admit that the joy and the peace they once had has become routine and obligation.

I'm not sure how Tim Hasty or anyone that spent 30+ years in the ntcc were able to deal with this system of control; but I know that there are good people in the ntcc who are trapped by a bad system.

I know that we are breaking protocol here by discussing Rev. Hasty.  And that we will probably be demonized by the ntcc for posting this.  However, I choose not to live according to the ntcc's mandates of what they hold to be right or wrong any more.

I choose to remember Bro. Hasty as a friend and brother.

But beyond that, I do not, and have not, known him well enough to understand all the dynamics of what he's been through and what he has accomplished in life.

We wish his family well and hold no ill will towards any of his church members.  We wish a fond farewell to a friend who we hope to see on the other side of eternity.

We believe God's word and the promises of hope that are for all believers. We do not choose to exclude people from those promises based on their outward appearance, or their earthly  works, or even what church they do or do not attend.

We know that ntcc doctrine excludes many Christians from heaven; but we also realize that most of the members and many ministers are blinded and forced by fear to live a Pharisaical lifestyle.  We hold out hope for many in the ntcc; that they are able to maintain their salvation and love for Christ inside of the parameters they are forced to live by.

Today as I was watching this video, I found myself contemplating Linda Hasty and her son; for I had seen Linda addressing him, "Son, ..."  I found this endearing - a simple form of expressing love.  So, I thought I'd add this beautiful song to this memorial page.

Life and Death in the New Testament Christian Church

During your tenure at New Testament Christian Church, you will be required to forsake all to follow your new god, the ntcc. The scriptures will be twisted to ensure that you abide faithful to only one lord, the ntcc. Every time you want to spend time with family, the ntcc will balk, spouting: "So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:33) And "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." Matthew 10:37.

After years of faithfully abiding and serving the ntcc, death will come for you.  But guess what?  After those years and years of telling you to dis your family, the ntcc will now expect them to pick up the arrangements for your funeral and burial or cremation.  "After all," they will say to justify their lack of care for you, "Let the dead bury their dead."

We've seen people who don't make extravagant claims about being super-apostles show more Christian character, absorbing the cost of caring for the remains of a friend's beloved pet when the animal passed away.  The veterinarian compassionately told our friend not to worry, the vet's office would take care of the remains.

It's good to know that in the ntcc you will receive less consideration than a dead dog.  Your family, whom you obediently abandoned to their own devices, will care for your final arrangements despite your alienating them in order to follow the dictates of a man.  But your ntcc 'family' will shrug and ignore your situation, searing their conscience and saying, "Let the dead bury their dead."

Should you be surprised by this?  After all, the ntcc did nothing to help or care for you when you were alive.  They really will care less when you are dead!  It does not matter that you forsook all to follow them.  It does not matter that you gave all you had so the rich could get richer.  In the end you will be discarded like a used diaper.  Because that's how it is in the ntcc.  Unless you are related to the nepotistic core group.

The ntcc bought their own private cemetery up on the hill behind the chruch behind the fence, the tabernacle finished in 1999 there in Graham, Wa.  You can be sure only a select few will be buried there.  Look for headstones with the following names only:

davis, kekel
olson, brill
johnson, kinson, ankenbauer
ashmore, difrancesco, jordan

That would be plenty to fill those plots staked out by davis and his cronies in their private cemetery.

But if you're not related to the money families in ntcc, look to the potter's field, the place where they cast out the poor dead.  And remember, your sacrifice made it all possible!  But that won't be remembered when you have a need, whether in life or death.  They will laugh at you as you stand in the soup line and they drive by in their Cadillacs (as davis has boasted); or they will blame you and say "your spending habits" caused your poverty (as kekel recently mocked the faithful, saying they became fearful, blah, blah, blah).

Well, don't worry.   Worrying would earn you the title of being "foolish and unlearned" (should you ask the questions that all men with brains and hearts ask "What if ...?") as kekel railed on Greg S. when he thoughtfully considered how to care for his wife if something should happen to him.

Now  ntcc's jim johnson sells insurance; so who do you think davis and company buy their insurance from? (At great rates of course.)  So they really aren't too concerned.  They're well covered.  But you peon workers must have too much time on your hands if you can sit and ask these questions.  Get back to work.  Don't you know people are dying and going to hell?  While tanya kekel goes shopping (but not for groceries; for antiques and crystal, and BMWs...).  And perhaps it is mikey kekel who goes golfing, since he falsely accused Casey Hayes of that very thing.  Hmmn.  Makes you wonder.

The bible admonishes us there is a season for everything:

• What season of life are you in?
• What season will come next?
• Will you be prepared?
• Why not?
• What has ntcc done for you?
• What have you done for ntcc?
• Have you given them your whole life only to find that 
• they could care less whether you live or die?

Points to ponder friends.

 How does ntcc see or treat you? 

Remember, if a righteous man regardeth the life of his beast, how much more  should we regard the life (or death) of a loved one created in the image of God?  After all, davis certainly made sure to take care of himself.  Why should you be thought "foolish or unlearned" for doing the same?
