Matt 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, Matt 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Getting Over it and Moving On

We have been actively blogging for 5 years now; and we get a lot of feedback from previous and current members of the ntcc.  About half of the criticism that we get is negative or has a negative underlying tone to it.  One of the most popular suggestions that we get is "You need to GET OVER IT!", or "You need to MOVE ON!"  Surprisingly, these suggestions usually come from X-members of the ntcc, who claim to have moved on themselves but are still participating on the blogs enough to leave these kinds of comments.

My NTCC: Image: A large-mouthed dog dives under water to retrieve a red tennis ball. My NTCC: A zealous X-member who is probably living in denial of his or her own ntcc eXperience sanctimoniously demands everyone else to "Move On!" and "Get Over It!" Healing is a process that varies with each individual. Take time to heal. Do what works for you.
Get Over It!

When someone says "Get over it!", they are often implying that they think you are too involved in the ntcc X-er cause or that your involvement in the X-er cause is interfering in some way with the life that you were meant to have.    There are a lot of X-members of the ntcc who feel what we do is 'negative' and serves only to bring up the bad in those ntcc'rs who are still in.  Some even go as far as saying we are just like the ntcc because we don't agree with their assessment of things.

When someone says, "You just need to move on", they are usually implying that you have not moved on; because they believe your involvement in exposing the ntcc is hurting you and making you less of a person than you should be.

Image: A poster that reads: Sometimes it takes a while for people to move on; because it hurts too much. But sometimes those who say they've moved on really haven't. Because they don't want to get hurt again. They don't want to feel vulnerable.

We have a question for those current ntcc members and X-members who believe what we are doing is wrong or negative.  Why does our dedication to the cause of exposing the ntcc bother you?  I have to assume that the people that are questioning us feel like they have it all put together and that they have learned to move on and get over it.  Why is there a need to correct and rebuke if everything is so great in your life?  If you are doing as well as you claim, why do you read the blogs?  Hmmmn?

The first step to moving on is to understand what we went through in the ntcc.  We all left for various reasons, but the majority of people that have left acknowledge that things were not right inside of the ntcc.  There are a number of people that blame themselves; like I used to.  They will tell you that everything was their own fault; like when a guy breaks up with a girl and says, "It's not you; it's me." That is an easy way out and does not address the underlying issues.  This is the way I used to think.  From the time I left the ntcc until the time I discovered the blogs was about 14 years; and I suffered needlessly during those years.  The reason I was suffering was not because I was drinking or smoking or going to bars; but it was because I thought that my soul was eternally damned.   And I thought there was nothing I could do about it.

The very thought of going back to the ntcc evoked memories of the unreachable expectations that would be required and the endless brow beating that a soul has to endure to be accepted in the ntcc.  The ntcc conditioned you to believe that if you left their controlling group, you were leaving God's church.  If you leave their organization, you never do it on good terms.

There is nobody that has left the ntcc that Kekel or Davis ever spoke highly of.  I have never heard an ntcc pastor speak well of someone who left the ntcc or that they were even right with God.

In fact, they would say, "Don't visit that person any more because they are crossed up with God. They went out from us; because they were not of us." Thank God they were not of the same cruel and ruthless hearts that the ntcc leadership molds so many of its pastors to become!  We were all conditioned to believe that if we left the ntcc, there was nowhere we could go and be right with God.  And so it didn't matter how many times they said, "We don't believe that we are the only church going to heaven."  Because those were just words.  The ntcc actions paint a very different story.  When a person went to another church, they got jacked up every single time in the ntcc.  If someone wanted to leave the ntcc, they got jacked up and accused of loving the world more than God every single time.

Image: Man running over the horizon in front of a purple and gold skyline. My NTCC: You don't heal by running away from your problems. In order to truly move on, you must examine and deal with each item. Take time to heal.

the Solution.  The Easiest way to
Escape from a Problem is to Solve it.

When I visited the blogs and began to learn about things that were done by the ntcc leadership, I began to realize that they were not living for God like they claimed.  They were using the church as a front to profit off of church members who paid their tithe and gave in various offerings.  At first I thought that people who blogged were just hating on the ntcc; until I realized that much of what they were saying was based on facts and supported by a whole bunch of witnesses.

So what is the true meaning of moving on or getting over it?  It's realizing that you don't have to apply the false teachings of the ntcc to your life to be a Christian.  It also means that you realize that the ntcc false teachings are not what God requires of a person.

Not being bound by the ntcc's legalism is the best way to move on with your life.

That's the true meaning of moving on. We don't have to live in fear or condemnation just because we don't give our money to an 'organization'  whose leaders are getting filthy rich.  We don't have to give our money or time to any group to be saved; because salvation is a free gift.  The change in your life should compel you to love others and show kindness to your neighbor; but outside of that, all the sacrificial mandatory payments are nowhere to be found in the New Testament.  Even when the Apostle Paul took up offerings, he never said that if you don't give you are hell bound.  It was never required or mandatory giving; and it didn't go towards making Paul rich.

Getting over your ntcc experience is not the easiest thing in the world to do.  Can we give you a hint? Moving on has nothing to do with visiting X-member blogs and finding fault with moderators because you don't agree with their approach.

Getting over the ntcc has much more to do with identifying ntcc false doctrines and not allowing their legalism to control your life.

We are glad that so many people have found their way out of the ntcc.  It is a testimony to the ntcc's inability to keep people in their controlling system. Getting out of the ntcc cult is one the most important decisions that you can make.

For those that feel we are just like the ntcc because we don't have tolerance for the way ntcc treats people, nor for the people who agree with ntcc; all we can say is that we are sorry you feel that way.   Have you looked in the bible at how Jesus dealt with the hypocrites?  Would you presume to rebuke Him or say He was being just like them?  Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade, a duck a duck, and a hypocrite a hypocrite.  Jesus went even further.  He called them snakes and vipers.  Would you say He was just being 'negative'?

For those who feel we are being "negative",  don't blame us; we are just communicating what we have witnessed.  We are here to share what we have been through and what other people share with us.  That is not being "negative".  It is simply reporting about all the bad (negative) things that the ntcc does to people.  It is the ntcc that is negative.

The best example we can give to drive this point home would be journalists who risk their lives to cover Isis terrorism.  Those journalists feel passionate about exposing Isis; so they report all of the atrocities that are committed by Isis.   During the course of their reporting they share testimonies of people who have suffered and lived to tell about it.  They will say in their articles what the person shared and why they believe that it is a true account.  We're sure that Isis and their followers might say to the journalist, "You are just being negative."  We are sure that Isis would tell the survivors of atrocities, "You just need to get over it, and move on with your life!"  But the journalists and survivors believe in the cause that they are committed to - exposing Isis.  They feel an obligation to warn others about how destructive Isis really is.  While we are not risking our lives, we feel that the ntcc is a pretty destructive group also; and we are passionate about doing our part to expose them so others might live free of the bondage, and some lives might be spared who would otherwise perish from the legalism, false condemnation, and resultant death that ntcc creates.

We feel that the ntcc leadership are spiritual assassins.  They use scripture to lead people to Christ; but once those souls get on board, ntcc introduces false doctrines that cause these Christians to surrender their freedom and finances for the sole purpose of allowing the ntcc leadership to achieve wealth and the power to control a group of people.  Once ntcc has milked a person for all that they think he or she is worth, ntcc disposes of them and leaves them feeling spiritually destitute and alone, not trusting anyone in matters of faith and without hope forever.  That's exactly how I felt for 14 years; and I was so glad that I finally learned the ntcc's true motives.  This knowledge made it so much easier for me to see that there was still hope and realize that the ntcc's willingness to get rid of people was centered around their ability to continue deceiving the masses rather than the impending judgment of God to each of us who left.  I got over it, and have been moving on for five years now.

It Used To Be A Sin ... in My NTCC

A Photographic Journey into The Days of  Future Past Brought to you by the X-men.

We have been struggling to keep up with all the changes in the ntcc.  So much has taken place right under everybody's noses that when you take a step back and look at it all, it's astounding that so many old timers are still in.   What used to be a sin, is no longer a sin according to the ntcc. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so we'll try not to write a thousand words in this blog post; for the pictures are so much more meaningful than anything we can say.  The people in the pictures are doing fun and innocent things.  That's what people are supposed to do.  Can you imagine Churches in the ntcc getting away with this stuff in the ntcc 20 or 30 years ago?  The sad thing is that it's being run by the same hucksters and the lion share of all the money is going towards enriching the lives of Mike and Tanya Kekel.  Ask yourself seriously, Could we have lived like this back when RWD roamed the countryside in his Million Dollar RV?

Mal. 3:6  "For I am the LORD, I change not".

Apparently, someone didn't get the memo.
