The following is a list of ingredients that make up a cult:
1. The Cult Leader
The first ingredient for a cult is the cult leader. You can't have a cult unless you have a cult leader. The cult leader is always a narcissist who expects others to do what the leader says, while ignoring what the leader does. The narcissistic cult leader believes that they are superior to all of their followers and must be able to convince others that the leader is chosen by God and above all reproach. Successful cult leaders have the ability to make others believe that the leader is God's perfect servant and all doctrine and rules issued forth by the leader come directly from God Himself. The cult leader must have the ability to convince others that the leader is pure and without sin, while causing the followers to blame themselves for any trouble in their lives by focusing on the members' own shortcomings and alleged sins.
2. Cult Members
The cult leader must find people that will follow without question and seek the leader's approval. Cult members are often from dysfunctional families and broken homes and seek approval and a place to belong. Unfortunately the prime candidates for Christianity usually have similar backgrounds to cult members. Cult members often start out as sincere Christians or broken souls who are seeking to be free from a life of suffering and misery or loneliness and lack of direction or purpose. While God reaches out to many who are poor, a cult leader instead requires the members to have an income or ability to make money so the cult leader can prosper financially from all of the money and labor of the followers. Cult leaders are often sexual predators who not only seek financial profit but use their position of trust to gratify their sexual fantasies. For this reason many cult members were targeted due to their background of physical and sexual abuse. Abused people are drawn to cults which give them a false sense of being loved. They often don't recognize the cult's abusive practices as abuse, because they are accustomed to poor treatment in their past. Hence cult members are often people that can be easily exploited for money, sex or 'pastor' worship, all due to their past familiarity with abuse and present gullibility.
In contrast, people who are solidly grounded in a healthy faith do not make good cult members. People who know the bible do not make good cult members. People who are well-off financially do not make good cult members. People who ask too many questions do not make good cult members. People who demand accountability and transparency from the cult leader do not make good cult members. People who think for themselves and speak up against hypocrisy and abuse do not make good cult members. They may be fooled for a while; but as they grow in grace and the knowledge of the truth, they will recognize a cult for what it is.
3. Cult doctrine
A cult leader cannot control his/her cult members without cult doctrine. Cult doctrine is the mortar that holds all the bricks together in a cult. A successful cult leader introduces false doctrines supported by twisted scriptures to control and manipulate cult members. Cult members have to believe that cult doctrine comes from God. Cult indoctrination often involves total trust and confidence that the cult leader is God's chosen vessel to share God's special plan with the members. God's special plan is always based on the cult member sacrificing and the cult leader profiting. The cult member pays tithe or gives in offerings while the cult leader receives tithes and collects offerings. Cult doctrine or God's special plan for the cult members' lives is only made possible if they are ignorant of what the bible actually says or if they quench the Spirit. Cult members are taught not to use the part of their brain that questions their cult leaders or rationalizes that they are part of a big scam. They are indoctrinated to believe that any thought or person who questions the cult doctrine or leader is "of the devil". This phrase, "of the devil" is mind-stopping lingo designed to halt independent thought. It is cult jargon at its worst.
4. Cult Jargon
Cult Jargon for Dummies: Turn or Burn! Get Right or Get Left! Holiness or Hell! |
Often times cult members are brainwashed with cult jargon. Cult jargon often consists of one line phrases that are not found in the bible but are believed by cult members as gospel. Here is a list of cult jargon that was often used in the ntcc.
- You just need to get saved. (often used when one doesn't conform)
- All Christians pay tithe and give in offerings.
- X-cult members are just bitter and need to move on.
- I can't remember the last time I sinned. (a big lie)
- You can't build a church with poor people. (or non tithe payers)
- If you do not pay 10% tithe before taxes or if you are late with your tithe you will be too heavy to go in the rapture.
- Children hinder the work of the Lord.
- If you steal a paper clip from the Army you will be one paperclip too heavy to go in the rapture.
- cats are of the devil
- Children must be beaten to drive the devil out of them
- Television is the devil vision
- Internet is the Sinner net
- ear rings are devil stirrups
- If you don't pay tithe, you are a God-robber.
- Pastor is the Man of God (and must be obeyed without question)
- White men who marry black women have low self esteem
All are Welcome if the Gate is Open, the mind is shut, and the wallet is also open! |
Cults often have compounds that are fenced in. Gates and security cameras are often placed around the homes of the cult leaders and access is only granted by permission to a select few. Unusual rules and demands are placed on cult members who live in cult compounds. Permission is often required to be asked among cult members to do ordinary things that most people do without asking. Decisions that most Christians are trusted to make on their own require approval from cult leaders who have very little trust in their followers. Sometimes cult compounds use strict rules rather than fences to keep people in. Servicemen's Homes are cult compounds that require all occupants to attend every church function, pay tithes and home offerings, have no visitors unless approved by the pastor, obtain permission to come and go for extended periods of time and be an "example of the believer" by keeping a bunch of non biblical man-made rules.
A requirement of faithful cult members to attend every cult function also can make a civilian church feel like a cult compound because most of the cult members waking hours are spent fulfilling the requirement to be at every cult meeting and only spend time with other cult members. Permission is asked for just about everything in a cult member's life, creating invisible boundaries that should not exist. Dating is not permitted without permission from the local cult leader and many relationships are manipulated or destroyed by the cult leader to maintain control inside the cult collective. Everything a cult member does is scrutinized by the cult leader and ultimatums of eternal damnation are placed upon the lives of cult members to keep them in the compound or cult community.
Cult Avoidance
How do you avoid a cult? Simple question and simple answer. Read your bible. Do you ever see Jesus telling people who they can date or encouraging folks to follow a rich huckster that lives in a gated community? Of course you don't. Once you know the Word, it becomes easy to avoid cults.
Cult Recognition
But what if you didn't know the Word and you joined a cult? The problem is that cult members don't like anyone telling them anything that destroys their fantasy world. Brainwashing involves people abandoning all common sense in pursuit of a religion that makes them feel special and chosen while excluding all who recognize the cult leader's diabolical motives. Expecting a cult member to filter out cult doctrine from the bible is like expecting a poisonous snake to allow you to pet his forked tongue without getting bit. Many of us were there at one time. We all thought critically of everyone who didn't fall lockstep into our way of life. We labelled it Christianity and, in our minds, those who didn't comply were all destined for hell. We didn't want anyone to interfere with our religion; and we definitely didn't want to believe we were in a cult. Eventually after being used and abused for an extended period of time, we opted out.
Cult Shaming
Successful cults will make people think that if they leave the cult, they are leaving God. Therefore those who leave tend to blame themselves for everything while they exonerate the cult leader and cult followers of any wrong doing. But reading the Bible will show that the opposite is true. It is most often the person who leaves the cult who has the pulse of God, while those who stay in the cult are following a false prophet.
Cult Extraction - Yay!
But for cult members who are constantly bombarded with false doctrine, it takes time for the seed of truth to grow in their hearts. Occasionally a cult member or a former cult member will wake up and the lights will turn on and expose the cult in their minds. One hundred cult members might read this; and all one hundred of them might deny that they are in a cult and mock us for what we are doing. But God will continue to water the seed of truth in their hearts. We believe that there will come a time that the cult leaders will push these honest Christians to a breaking point, as these miscreant cult leaders so often do; and the Christian member will realize that they have been had. Once this light breaks, the Christians realize they no longer belong in this cult; and they will make a break for freedom and liberty. We hope that when they do so, these liberated people will not blame God or feel that they are betraying God by leaving the cult. We also hope that their break from the cult will be not only physical but spiritual too. So many people will leave the cult physically, but struggle to rid themselves of the erroneous cult doctrines that have been pounded into their hearts and minds. Worship through godly music, prayer, and bible reading will help the newly freed Christians sharpen their senses and filter out false teachings and cult echoes that try to haunt and hinder their free walk with God.
It's only a Cult, NOT your God
Leaving the cult is not leaving God. It's freeing yourself from the handwriting of man-made ordinances that is against you. The cult leaders in the ntcc know what they are doing; and they want you to go along with their doctrine for the rest of your life, whether you leave or you stay. They definitely do not want you to share your knowledge with the brainwashed masses that remain in bondage. They want you to hate anyone who exposes them even if you no longer attend their cult meetings or support them with your tithes and offerings. That's what makes it a cult; and even if you leave them they expect you to keep their doctrine as if it came from God Himself. But gave us our salvation. He is not going to take it away. Our salvation does not depend on the name hanging over the cult compound. God gave salvation to us, and man cannot take that away from us, even if we leave their money-grubbing cult!
Summary
This is the recipe for a cult. All you need is a Huckster, some followers, some messed up doctrine supported by non biblical jargon and a cult community that keeps you in their controlling atmosphere where you can be manipulated and exploited. They will always be looking for new recruits to replace those whom they no longer need; but they would prefer for you to keep your brain switch in the "Off" position for the rest of your life and don't dare say anything against them or hell will be your home, according to them. Thank God that Jesus is not like them!

ReplyDeleteHuckster of the week: Former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert
ReplyDeleteThis Huckster used the illegal structuring tactics. (that are also taught by the ntcc to it's ministers), to pay a victim that Hastert molested as a high school teacher and wrestling coach. According to 5 victims who were high school boys at the time Hastert touched their Genitals and gave and received massages and committed unspecified sexual acts. All of these students have struggled with what Hastert did to them and one of them died years ago, but confided in family members as to the sexual deviance committed against him. Hastert the huckster was paying hush money to keep one of his victims silent. The hush money paid was 1.7 million dollars from 2010 to 2014. This money was withdrawn from his account illegally in increments of less than $10,000.00 to hide it from the IRS and regular payments were made to a former victim. The Statute of limitations has long since expired and no charges can be brought against Hastert for the deviant sexual acts that he committed. This is all too common. Most sexual predators know that kids are afraid to go public with accusations such as this and they keep it inside for decades. Same holds true in the ntcc. Davis paid hush money to Pam when she was a minor. The fact is that sexual predators usually get away with their sick treatment of their victims. Go figure. There is no statute of limitations on crimes involving money but human trafficking, child molesting, child rape, child abuse and many other crimes of this nature have an expiration date. If any of you ntcc preachers read this and you remember the ntcc telling you not to deposit more than ten thousand dollars at a time so that no red flags would be raised with the IRS; you should be honest with yourselves. These ntcc hucksters are scam artists and they told you this because they have done it themselves. They are big time hucksters and they lie to the IRS.
Hope we didn't offend anyone. We know that nobody wants to hear about this stuff or discuss it. Politicians and religious hucksters have a lot in common. There are plenty of witnesses but the statute of limitations has expired. This blog hasn't expired and we haven't either. Do you ever wonder why the ntcc never addresses or denies any of these allegations? They don't want this info to come out in public. The whole Fontenot story was embarrassing enough. They harbored that pedophile and sent the victims packing. Way to go Joe Olson. Way to tell a young rape victim and her mother to go find another church. Olson is an enabler. God spoke to that woman and told her, "You are reporting this to the wrong people. You need to go to the police". Thank God that she did. Fontenot would still be fondling children as an ntcc Sunday School teacher while the ntcc board members looked the other way, if it wasn't for the mother of this victim. I guess we should just let it go and allow this stuff to continue in the name of the Lord. Oh well, I'm sure the ntcc leaders will do the right thing in the future, or will they? Why would they change their MO?
ReplyDeleteWhose baby is Mike Kekel holding and when was this picture taken? With that kind of look I wouldn't want his hands on my child. Where did you find that he tried to take back children being a hinders to the ministry? I feel sorry for the children in his church that have to deal with him.
ReplyDeleteYes they have changed their standards a lot. Their apples may look better to some but they are still filled with worms as well as rotten to the core.

Davis used to bring pregnant women to tears by blaming them for their husbands failing in the ministry. He would blame the women for having babies and tell them that they were the causing whatever failures that he deemed were worthy of public humiliation. The husband who participated in the making of the baby never had to shoulder much of the blame because Davis's opinion of women is that they were Vaginal life support systems and walking incubators whose soul purpose for being on this earth was to satisfy a man, but God forbid they should bear a child while in the ministry. All we did was add our voices to others that have exposed Davis for this attitude and this statement.
Kekel and the executive board often do things based on damage control. Over the years, Kekel's image has been marred by his own attitude towards children. When Bruce Smith of the Mountain News did his series on "The Church Behind the Fence", He mentioned that Kekel talked about "Filthy, evil children throwing hissy fits in the cookie isle of the grocery store" in his sermon. Kekel knew that Bruce Smith was going to run a story and he couldn't even stop himself from making such an egregious statement.
"However, his rhetoric undercuts his substantial biblical knowledge; on one occasion he characterized children as “evil and filthy” when they have hissy-fits in the cookie aisle of a grocery store." Link to Bruce Smith's article
We have exposed this on our blog many times. The ntcc has a history of reacting not just to the exposure that we give on this blog, but all public exposure from the blogs and social media. Kekel and the ntcc tries to clean up their image so they don't look like such tyrants. It is our opinion that the Kekel's have been trying to clean up their image with children as a measure of damage control. It was shared that Kekel and Tanya used to spank Julie when she was a young child. These spankings usually involved Kekel lifting her dress and pulling down her underwear. After we blogged about this, the Kekel's had several photo ops on Social Media, displaying pictures on their social media pages of them holding new born children. You can see that Kekel is not over joyed at having to hold this baby. These pictures were placed on social media so that anyone could see them. The settings were public and they wanted everyone to see how much they love children. It wasn't just one infant from one family either. They made a concentrated effort for everyone to see them holding babies, however unpleasant it may have been for them.
ReplyDeleteDamage control is not a new concept that they have just started incorporating. They have used the method of damage control several times to clean up their image and make excuses for their inappropriate actions and behavior. Another instance that comes to mind was when Ralph St. Clair died, nobody heard a peep out of anyone from the ntcc. Julie had shared her testimony of how Ralph abused her and within a year or so, Ralph died. He didn't get a celebration of life like Davis got when he died. Joan St. Clair didn't even tell her daughter that Ralph died. She found out from the police and her Grandma. There were no obituaries, no Facebook posts from concerned friends on Joan's Wall, Not a single comment, tweet or condolence offered, no announcements from anyone; nothing. We did a blog post about this and exposed the ntcc for being hypocrites for celebrating Davis's life and ignoring St. Clairs life. They both were serial child molesters, (allegedly), but nobody shared a peep about Ralph. Shortly after Ralph's death we called them out on this. Olson did a damage control piece on his "Chairman's blog" in which he stated that Ralph St. Clair had received his promotion and Olson went on to bloviate about the greatest miracle of Jesus was healing the sin sick soul, perhaps referring to Ralph's spiritual state when he died. Ralph died on Feb. 21, 2015 and we blogged about it on Feb. 25, 2015. Three days later on the 28th, Olson did his damage control piece. When someone dies in the ntcc, the ntcc'rs often find out about it on the blogs before hearing it anywhere else, because the ntcc doesn't want their fleeced flock to know that their healing ministry is a big scam or whatever the case may be. They choke information so that the people will remain in the dark. In the end, they wind up getting exposed for their hypocrisy and would have been better off sharing the truth.
That picture is almost comical. He looks like it's another mouth that will take away from his wealth. Another person he'll have to control. It's gotta get tiresome at some point.
ReplyDeleteI know if I was filthy rich I'd be outta there. I think his wealth and the wealth of all of these loony toons is tied to the church so they can't just quit.
What a miserable group of demons.
Mike
I wonder if he knows how many lives he's wrecked with his father in law?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he even cares?
How many are in poverty in that church?
Kekel also look as if that baby just pissed on him. Anonymous from my experience with ntcc, I doubt if they ever cared about anyting, except OPM. If the kekels was to leave ntcc, they would have to justify there millions of dollars that they did not work for, to the IRS. The money that kekel was making before he married the founders daughter could in no way justify his now millions, but as long as they stay inside ntcc they can justify it. Don't be surprise if they have not though of leaving ntcc and taking ntcc millions with them, That money belongs to the members of ntcc.

You hit the nail on the head. If Kekel ever decides to take the money and run, he'll be subject to prosecution. But if you think about it, he has no reason to run. He's completely unaccountable to anyone. They all report to him according to the bylaws. He can leave any time he wants. He can go anywhere he wants to go. He can buy anything he wants to buy. All of us tithe paying suckers have made this possible over the years. He has teams of slaves who clean up after him and Tanya Maximillia. Kekel has people that worship him and hang on his every word. People live to please the Kekels. No wonder Ashmore left. You think Ashmore would subject himself to anyone other than Davis? Ashmore flew the coop within months of Davis's death. No love loss there.
For Kekel it's all about accumulating wealth within the corrupt non profit system. As long as everything is in the cult's name, Kekel can live like a billionaire. They have photo ops with babies so the brain washed minions will ignore the anti children doctrine that he's preached for decades. Your average cult member thinks everything Kekel does is inspired by God. "See, this proves that those X-ers were wrong about Kekel hating children", says the cult member who wears spiritual blinders. Everything a cult member believes is based on the premise that the cult leader is inspired by God, therefore excuses are made for every evil intention that Kekel acts upon. The cult members have to ignore the obvious sins of their leaders to justify their own existence in the cult. As soon as their eyes open and they realize that Kekel is nothing more than a money grubbing hypocrite, their superficial Christianity becomes phony religion and they have to realize that their legalistic lives are being lived in vain. So they go along with the charade. They pretend that it's all normal. They ignore the fact that they have nothing because they give every extra dime to sustain the jet set lifestyle of the Kekels.

Kekel doesn't care about people. Love is not one of his strong points, in fact, it's pretty much nonexistent in his life. Kekel is not motivated by love or mercy. All of Kekel's actions are tied to his love for filthy lucre. If he actually cared about people he would sell all that he has and give to the people that he made poor. That would be the biblical solution. Air-conditioners will be handed out in hell before Kekel gives up any of his riches. It is almost impossible to separate a fool from his money. When that fool is a multi millionaire cult leader, it's most likely never going to happen in a thousand lifetimes.

The IRS pays little to no attention to Kekel or the ntcc. They barely pay attention to the mega churches of this world. Davis was not stupid. He was a fox like Herod. If you look at it, the ntcc is a mega church. It's just spread out. Joel Osteens church congregation boasts 45,000 members but these members are not told that they will burn in the lake of fire for not paying tithe. 5,000 members that pay more than 10% is probably pretty close to 45,000 members that pay more than 1%. But Osteen writes books and makes millions and millions of dollars off of them. He also has a television ministry that brings in money, hand over fist. I'm sure at some point, Kekel's love for money will eventually motivate him to pursue this kind of endeavor. Holiness has been stripped from the ntcc's bylaws and very few people are living it in the ntcc. As soon as a few more of the old timers die off or are run off, I'm sure Kekel will pursue building a "compromising" mega church in Graham. We've already seen some pictures of Tanya and Verna with very shiny red lips that could only be explained by lip gloss and Kathy Jordan boldly displays pictures of her wearing Ear rings. Soon the money will flow by the truck loads as the sanctuaries and mansions get bigger and more expensive. People will continue to pay their tithe and ignore the absorbent wealth of the filthy rich cult leaders who control their lives. Grant will miraculously get religion and inherit the ntcc kingdom one day. Good luck with that! The religious hucksters will never go away brain washed suckers will increase abundantly.
I see some of the elements in your list as being both cultish and clubish... It's a fine line I guess between a healthy church that's teaching the bible and one that hijacks it for the benefit of a few...
ReplyDeleteI think Kekel is trying to guide the NTCC into more of the grey area of a club/cult verses what Davis had which was an all out loony toon house.
Mike
I'll be honest, I believe one of the most important steps to leaving is taking responsibility. Freedom is a double edged sword. I mean, what is the desire here, to control what is taught or believed in NTCC? Which part. All of it?
ReplyDeleteMany of the arguments made against NTCC are made by others against Christianity. The Bible is interpreted thousands of different ways by as many sects.
Yes the victims are prey. The lesson that they need to learn is to not be billied.
If someone stays 20 or 30 years because they're too proud to leave and admit they were suckered, whose fault is that?
Just throwing it out there.
If you go to a two bit used car dealer and get swindled for years, car after car because they threaten you, whose fault is it really? Not completely the salesman's.
I'll be honest with you too, Anonymous. Your attitude basically excuses the ntcc from any responsibility. If you applied your logic to victims of any repeat crimes, the victims would be wrongfully blamed. Your comparison with used cars is stupid. There is no other way to put it. We are not used cars. We are people with eternal souls.

No, the ntcc cult leaders are the ones who control and manipulate people. Our purpose has never been to control the ntcc. Although the blogs have been directly related to changes in doctrine, we are more interested in exposing the ntcc. Over time the ntcc has changed and they are not taking any responsibility for the unnecessary abuse that they dished out to their victims. Their purpose is to control and manipulate. We draw attention to that. You sound like someone who is used to marginalizing the people who have suffered in the ntcc. Ashmore is a lot like you, Anonymous. He is quick to warn people to flee from the great whore, but he takes no responsibility in his part in everything the great whore did to the people. Cults do not physically keep people in bondage. It's all done spiritually and emotionally.

That's easy for you to say from your ivory tower. Who's going to teach them that lesson? We are attempting to teach people that the ntcc is a cult and its cult leaders are keeping them in bondage. You can blame the members for their predicament all you want, but why don't you take a look at the ones who are profiting off of the misery of those who are still prisoners? Isn't your attitude the same as what the ntcc cult leaders are projecting? Christianity doesn't require men to get vasectomies. Kekel makes the excuse that everyone misunderstood Davis and over reacted. Right, dozens of ministers misunderstood and got snipped. How stupid. Christianity doesn't require New Testament Christians to live in poverty so their cult leaders can get rich. You are out of your mind if you actually believe the things you are saying. Oh, they can leave. Nobody has a gun to their head, right? They are being dangled over hell for just about everything they do. If you think that wearing shorts is going to send you to hell, what are you going to do? If you think not paying tithe is going to send you to hell, what are you going to do? We all fell for the ntcc cult doctrine so we know how powerful it is. It's powerful enough to influence people like you to make excuses for the ones preaching it. You either are still in the ntcc or you still buy into their system.

There are a lot of good people who have left the ntcc after 2 or more decades. I left after 13 years, but it wasn't because I figured it out. There are people who stay in the ntcc because they want to be controllers and manipulators. There are quite a few that have been in 2 or 3 decades because they want the power and they enjoy manipulating others.
Asking whose fault it is sounds like something a cult leader would ask in a board meeting while they all erupt into laughter as they talk about how stupid all the preachers and members are. That stupid idiot Olivarez keeps sending us thousands of dollars, ha ha ha. What an idiot. It's easy to say, "Why doesn't he just leave"? How long were you in the ntcc, anonymous? Are you still in? If you are out, how many years did you stay in before you left? If you are still blaming yourself, that is exactly what the ntcc cult leaders want you to do. Personal responsibility......right. Why are the members always required to take personal responsibility, but the peddlers of cult doctrine are not? I think many of us know we were conned. The Pharisees were a lot like the ntcc cult leaders. They would compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he was made, they made him twofold more the child of hell than they themselves were. Did Jesus blame the proelytes or the Pharisees? I guess Jesus should have taken a page out of your book, anonymous, and not blamed the Pharisees.
The Pharisees weren't going to heaven and they didn't want anyone else to go either. Jesus put the blame where it belonged. He said, "Woe unto you Scribes, Pharisees and hypocrites." The ntcc has become habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. That's what Ashmore says. He would know. That's what's written in the book of Revelation about Babylon the great whore and Ashmore warns people to flee from the ntcc who he calls the whore. Davis taught that the great whore of Revelation was the Catholic church. Is there really a lot of difference between the ntcc and the Catholic church? Both have had a large percentage of their clergy involved with adultery, fornication, child molestation, homosexuality, rape and incest. Both are made rich by the excessive giving of their members. Both are more concerned about accumulating wealth and real estate more than taking care of their own congregations. At least the Catholics have programs that feed the poor and give to the less fortunate.
Believe it or not, there is a purpose for this blog. We are not here to run down the people that have been run down by the ntcc. Their lives have already been miserable enough. Research shows that the majority of people that join a cult are of above average intelligence. Do they have issues? Sure. Who doesn't?
ReplyDeleteFrom a non Christian perspective cult members are stupid for joining cults. From a Christian perspective, many don't understand how a person can get caught up in a cult. But if you look at the so called "Christian Culture" you will find that there are thousands of churches all preaching different doctrines and the majority of these churches belong to organizations and those at the top are filthy rich and getting richer. Not all of these groups are abusive. Not all of the members are completely brainwashed but many go along with what they are taught and they support the rich hucksters who sit back and get filthy rich off of the labor of others.
The ntcc happens to fall into the category of an abusive cult. The cult leaders are not only getting rich but they are getting rich off of the misery of their cult members and they are using Christianity as a vehicle to get what they want. Christianity is real. Billions of people around the world deny Christ and ignore His message every day. There are those who believe that Jesus died for them and they want to go to heaven. Gullible as they may seem to some, they seek something that is real and that reaches beyond mortality. They believe that the son of God died for their sins and that through His sacrifice they can have eternal life. The love of God is real. The devil knows this and so do the hucksters that use sincere Christians as the foundation of their scams and their enterprises. This is nothing new.
If money can be made off of something, man will find a way to make it happen. People are gullible, and not just Christians. Fear is a huge industry and billions of dollars are made off of fear. If you want to make a ton of money, all you have to do is convince people that if they don't use your product, something terrible will happen to them. This is done every single day. If you don't buy our credit monitoring system, your identity will be stolen and your life will be ruined forever. If you don't buy our vitamins and supplements, you will die unhealthy and fat. If you don't support this candidate or that candidate the world as you know it will come to an end. If you don't go along with the government raising your taxes and controlling every aspect of your life, your country will go broke and it will all be your fault, so shut off your brains and vote for the candidate that wants to suppress your freedom.
Cults and many churches use fear to keep people in place. Cult leaders use fear to control and manipulate people. While Jesus did speak about hell and warn people about it, His life work was to heal the sick and save people from their sins. Jesus loved people and gave the ultimate sacrifice. Cults like the ntcc love money and use fear to keep the money rolling in. They don't care about the poor or those who don't have money to give to them. The love is only there as long as the money keeps rolling in. Stop feeding them your money and they will stop love bombing you. Take away their god and they will kick you to the curb faster than a pride of hungry lions takes down a three legged gazelle.
ReplyDeleteThe ntcc rules with an iron fist and they use fear to keep people in their place. They can care less about the poor, the widow, the orphan or the stranger. They can care less about you. Their concern for you only lasts as long as you follow their rules and keep the money pouring in. Disobey their man-made rules and stop making payments to them and you will quickly find out what they are all about.
We are not here to beat down those who are the victims of a cult. If you leave comments that are hostile towards the people we are trying to help, we might not publish them. We published the one anonymous comment because we've heard the "personal responsibility" gospel too many times and we wanted to address it once again. Even though the person who left this comment does not claim to be a Christian, the sentiments that were shared closely mirror the attitudes of the ntcc and those who support them. How many of us left the ntcc and felt like we were leaving God? That is exactly how they wanted us to feel and that is precisely why they cut you off completely when you leave. How many times have you witnessed the "shepherd" in the ntcc leaving the 99 to come after one lost ntcc sheep? He or she made their decision says the ntcc cult leader. Let God deal with them, they say. They might go by your barracks or your apartment to warn you of God's judgement for leaving the ntcc, and tell you that if you don't come back to the ntcc you will die and go to hell. But, they aren't going to welcome you back with open arms unless you submit to their rules and give them your 10% while ignoring the abuse that caused you to leave in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI know that people have criticized us in the past for not publishing every comment, but we feel no obligation to advance someone's ideas that beat down the people we are trying to help. We have stated the mission of this blog many times and we'll say it again. This blog exists to help people escape from the ntcc cult and to help them realize that they can be a Christian without ntcc doctrine. We try to provide a safe place for people to share their experiences and help them deal with life outside of the cult.
If you leave a comment that is full of information that endorses ntcc doctrine or enables them to continue their abuse, don't hate us for not publishing. We won't hate you for trying to advance your comment either. People sometimes get outraged because of this, but they are not outraged that the ntcc never allowed them to have a voice. We want people to have a voice on this blog but we don't want to advance the ntcc's agenda.
Sorry folks, we are not going to advance the idea that Christianity is a lot like the ntcc on this blog. The ntcc is nothing like Christianity. I understand that churches and preachers have taken something good and corrupted it, but to say that Christianity is anything like the ntcc is completely wrong. Let's examine this for a moment. Let's look at what Jesus did and compare it to what the ntcc has done. Jesus never influenced people to get snipped because children hinder the work of God. Jesus never told people that they would burn in hell for not paying their tithe. Jesus never told people that they would burn in hell for not dressing a certain way. What did Jesus do that makes people hate Christianity? I know the ntcc has done a lot to make people hate God and Christians. But what did Jesus ever do? Jesus went around healing the sick and raising the dead. Jesus cared about the poor and broken hearted. Thousands of people followed Jesus and loved him while the phony church hypocrites that were called Pharisees found fault with him. So far I haven't heard one good argument as to why Christianity is like a cult or as to why anyone should compare the ntcc to Christianity. All God wants is your heart. The ntcc wants your money and for you to ignore their hypocrisy and double standards. I'm sorry folks. I just can't see the comparison. I just don't see anything in the bible that would cause me to believe that the ntcc even closely resembles Christianity.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the purpose of this blog is not to argue about religion. We are going to keep blogging until we feel like this blog has run it's course and there is nothing else left to say. If you look at the history of FACTnet and the blogs, the blogs always seem to do the best when people share their experiences. Arguing about scriptures drives it into the ground. If nobody wants to stay on topic or to talk about things relevant to their experiences, that's okay. I think that we all agree that the ntcc is a cult, but I'm not sure that the majority of readers think that Christianity is a cult. If you feel that way, we are sorry for you. We know that people often leave the ntcc confused and broken. I did too. We don't hate anyone for their beliefs and we hope that in time everyone finds peace with God and Jesus. Our personal belief is that the bible is true and Jesus did actually die for our sins. We believe that Christ is the only hope for anyone on this planet. We believe that we will all find out how real Jesus is when we die. We don't want some group of religious hucksters to cheat anyone out of eternal life.
So the last comment that we wrote really drew out some serious hatred. We didn't make up or invent Christianity. It was here far before we were and long before Davis ever conceived the idea of using it to make millions of dollars by starting a cult. We asked the question, "What did Jesus do that makes people hate Christianity"? In return we got a tyrade about how brainwashed I am to believe in the bible, instead of an answer to the question we asked. Anyway, our prayers go out to all of the X-ntccer's who have used their experience as an excuse to hate God. We believe in freedom of speech but this blog is not about freedom of speech, unless you are looking to contribute substance that is relative to exposing the ntcc for being a cult. We are not a cult. We are not after your money or your servitude. We are all about exposing the hypocrisy of the ntcc. We've done a pretty good job of it. Don't make it personal. Insulting us and blaming God for everything bad that ever happened in your life is not going to give you any peace in life.
ReplyDeleteAs for Christianity; we will defend it. We are not trying to force it down anyone's throat but we actually believe that Jesus died for our sins. Call it superstitious if you please, but not on this blog. Man, life is too short. If you don't agree with us, that's all right. You don't even have to read our mercilessly long comments. Nobody does. We are here for the ones that want to hear what we have to say. We don't expect anyone to hang on every word we write. I would be surprised if anyone has read even half of the stuff we write, and that's completely okay with us.
We are not the one's who are getting rich off of tithe. We are not the ones who are condemning people to hell. We are not the ones who are preaching false doctrine for a profit. We are not the ones who are telling people how to dress, who they can talk to, who they can date, who they can visit, where they can or can't attend church, or anything of that nature. If we are just like the ntcc, please tell us what we are doing that makes us just like them. Please, we are dying to hear this. When have we ever told anyone how to live? When have we ever made a buck off of someone's misery? We don't even advertise on our blog. If you are mad at us, perhaps your anger is misplaced.
The ntcc cult leaders love it when people end up blaming God for what happened to them while they were in the cult. This allows them to say that all of your anger is due to your rejection of God. We don't personally believe that, but the ntcc'rs do. Believe it or not, we actually have compassion for those who have been hurt so badly that they discontinue any semblance of a relationship with God. The purpose of this blog is to identify the false doctrines of the ntcc and raise awareness to the fact that God is not sitting up in heaven waiting to strike people dead with lightning bolts. We know that God is much more merciful than the ntcc would have you to believe. We understand how damning the ntcc can be towards other human beings. Jesus is not like that. He loved us so much that he suffered and died for us. That is the gospel message that should be preached. Greater love hath no man.
I don't think that the Christians that Isis are killing are just using God for a crutch. I don't believe they are scared little sheep that believe ridiculous things without a shred of evidence. Not being concerned about one's own eternity doesn't make anyone more of a man or more courageous.
ReplyDeleteWe all are going to die and that is a sure thing. We can preach it for money or we can share it for free. The money grubbers are getting their reward here on earth. Kekel is not going to be able to take his mansion with him. Ashmore is not going to be able to take all the nice things that he purchased with your tithe dollars either. Jesus didn't have an angle and He chose to give eternal life away to the poor and broken hearted. The rich didn't want what Jesus had to offer. The Pharisees had freedom of speech but Jesus didn't choose to hang around them very often. You can say Jesus was a narcissist for telling the fault finding Pharisees that they were like snakes and vipers, but it's true, they were like snakes and vipers. They were more concerned about Him breaking rules than they were about the sick being healed on the Sabbath day. When they showed up to tell accuse or find fault with Jesus, he preached at them. He warned them of hell. They could have chosen to accept Jesus, but they chose to reject Him. Those that accepted Jesus were not hit up for tithe and offerings. They were not told to dress a certain way. They were not told who they talk to or who they could date. They were offered eternal life in exchange for their love. We are also offered eternal life in exchange for our love.
If you don't believe in Jesus than you probably ought to denounce our calendar. What happened 2016 years ago that was so profound that we started counting years all over again? Why does the bible compel people to love their neighbors and do good to others for nothing in return? What makes a person change from someone who robs, steals and lies into a person that cares about others and would do anything to help them? Is it a bad thing for a person to love God and love his neighbor? Is it okay for such a person to believe in Jesus? Does that person have less of a right to coexist on this earth with people who don't?
I'm throwing this out there for anyone who feels Christianity is a cult. We are not going to argue back and forth about it, but we believe God is real and we definitely reserve the right on this blog to share that with our readers. We also have the right not to publish stuff that degrades Christians or Christ.
Nothing ntcc did is done in a corner sure took most y'all a long time to figure you were "abused" I bet you left cause you didnt get your way and didn't do what God wanted. It's rebellion call it whatever you want you're attacking a Bible believing church that preaches the Holy Ghost you should take care.

There are many examples that we can give you of things the ntcc teaches that are not in the bible. Let's start with ntcc's tithe or hell doctrine. Where does it say in the bible that if a New Testament Christian or a Gentile does not pay their tithe that they will miss the rapture? Please show me one scripture. You can't show me one scripture because it is not in the bible. You claim that the ntcc is a bible believing church. How about backing up New Testament tithe or hell doctrine. Can you show us one scripture anywhere in the New Testament where Christians are commanded to pay tithe or they will miss the rapture? That is what the ntcc teaches. If you don't pay 10% of your income before uncle Sam gets his chunk, you will be overweight when the rapture takes place. Of course you can't show us one scripture, because it doesn't exist. The ntcc is not a bible believing church. Can you show me one scripture that justifies ntcc church members living in poverty while Kekel spends your tithe dollars on million dollar mansions and disgustingly expensive sports cars? That's what he is doing right under your noses. If you really believe that tithe is mandated in the bible and that if people don't pay their tithe that they will go to hell, then Paul must be in hell burning with all the people who didn't pay their tithe because Paul didn't burden the church with tithe or mandatory giving. Paul had got one of these things called a 'job'. Paul worked so that he didn't have to be supported by the church. Tithe is a false doctrine and if you claim to be a bible believing Christian than you ought to get your nose in the book and study tithe.
While you have your nose in the book and you are studying tithe, you might want to look for a few other things. Find the scripture that supports "Children hinder the work of the Lord", as was preached by your founder Davis. Ask Kekel why dozens of preachers went out and got vasectomies so that they would not have children because Davis brought women to tears preaching that children hinder the work of the Lord. Healthy churches don't have dozens of people so scared that they get snipped to follow false doctrine. Only in a cult will you find something so outlandish. Also while you are studying, please show us where it says in the bible where a woman can't wear ear rings but a man is allowed to have his congregation buy him a diamond pinky ring. That's what Davis and several other prominent ntcc board members and ministers did. They had their congregations buy them diamond pinky rings. The ntcc is full of hypocrites and they do not believe or live by the bible.

People leave the ntcc because the ntcc is full of hypocrites that live by the letter of the law, while ignoring love, mercy and grace. There's the door. I left because the ntcc was full of Homosexual ministers and Adulteresses. I had 14 pastors in 13 years and three of them were Homosexuals, (Hummel, Rudy and Broadnax). Two straight pastors had wives that committed adultery, (Nichelle Tieman whose husband is now a board member and overseer, and Beja's wife who had sex with a brother living in the Serviceman's home). Phil Kinson got promoted after he got caught frequenting a whore house. The guy who outed him got his fields plowed by Ashmore and ended up dead in what was reported as a triple murder suicide; the pregnant wife and their son all dead for trying to do the right thing. Your founder R.W. Davis was molesting young girls according to two or more witnesses that were victims. There have been dozens of people over the years that have testified of Davis's adultery. Ralph St. Clair was raping and molesting his own daughter while Davis and the board members allowed St. Clair to continue in the "ministry", according to Julie. Joan St. Clair admitted that Ralphs license was taken away for six months for this reason. Julie St. Clair was also molested and raped by Davis according to her testimony. A licensed minister that ran the ntcc print shop by the name of Fontenot finger penetrated his own daughter and molested her several times. When the mother reported it to Olson, she was told to find another church. Meanwhile Fontenot was harbored by Davis and the general board until he got thrown in jail for the sick acts that he forced upon his own daughter who was six years old.
While all this was happening, Davis and Kekel were getting filthy rich off of brainwashed suckers like you, anonymous, who think you are bible believing Christians. If anyone needs to "take care" it's the ntcc hucksters who have managed to become filthy rich while all of these atrocities occurred. You say that nothing was done in a corner, so why don't you ask Kekel about all of the things that we are writing about. Make sure he doesn't answer you with weasel words. Ask him straight up if Fontenots wife was asked to leave the church while Fontenot was allowed to stay and put other children at risk. Ask him straight up if Phil Kinson went to a whore house to retrieve his wallet in Japan and see if you get a straight up "yes or no" answer. Ask Kekel if Davis ever committed adultery or if Kekel himself ever committed adultery. Ask Kekel if he ever pulled down any childrens panties to spank their bare bottoms. Did you know that many ministers in the organization used to spank other peoples children? Ask Kekel if the principal of the day school was caught cross dressing while sitting in his car in the church parking lot. Ask Kekel to show you his mansion and his cars, then ask him how he got so filthy rich when he had nothing when he came into the organization.
Maybe people like me and many others left because we had seen so much corruption and we couldn't take any more. Beware of the Hucksters which love to wear long dresses, Sweedish knit suits and wingtips while people call them Pastor, Pastor.

For starters that 1 Cor 16:2 has anything to do with paying tithe. The NTCC says it does but it has absolutely nothing to do with paying tithe. I has to do with taking up a monetary collection for to give as a free will offering for specifically the poor saints that lived in Jerusalem at the time. It certainly had nothing to do with making the likes of the Kekel's richer than they already are. So do you still have doubt???
How about that it's a sin for a woman to have a job. They teach that "keepers at home" means that a woman can't have a job. To the contrary it means that a woman should be a "good house keeper". Look at Strongs which is something that NTCC people generally don't give any real consideration to. They'd rather believe the crooked Kekels.
How about that it's a sin for woman to wear pants while misinterpreting Deu 22.5. Deu 22.5 has nothing to do with women wearing or not wearing pants. Not only did pants not even exist in those days but for someone who doesn't mind using their brain, they could (with minimal studying and research) figure out that Deu 22.5 is stating that women should not wear or use armaments that are use specifically by strong men who are fit for war or battle. Again, look it up in strongs or any other credible biblical source.
Do you still doubt it or are you one of the folks that I just referred to that no longer has a functional brain or refuses to use it?

Are you serious??? You must be kidding me. I've been calling RWD the dupester and old crooked Kekel a couple of con artists for the last 8 years and the more I do it the more blessed I become. I should have done it more. I'd probably even be more better off. God hasn't blessed me as much because I don't do it enough. Bible believing church??? Are you serious?? How about Bible misinterpreting church? Thats more like it. You might want to take care before you get hoodwinked more than you clearly already have because you are one seriously brainwashed individual who's blindly following a bunch of hucksters, and false prophets. There's another blessing coming my way. Time to go. Have a good time wasting your life.

Chief, I'm not so sure anymore about criticizing the NTCC? I just found out I have a really bad cavity. I'm sure this is the beginning of the end for me.
ReplyDeleteMike
You want another example? OK, here it is. New Testament Christian Churches of America, teaches that a born again brother or sister must beg and plead with God to fill them with Holy Spirit. Well, that's not what Paul teaches in Ephesians 1:13-14. Paul teaches that after we believed we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. 14. Which is the earnest of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
ReplyDeleteI recently came across this in the news: "psychoanalyst Erich Fromm (said) re: what makes someone sadistic: “He is sadistic because he feels impotent, unalive, and powerless. He tries to compensate for this lack by having power over others, by transforming the worm he feels himself to be into a god.” This was in reference to a certain 4/20 shooter years ago. But it stood out in my mind regarding cult leaders. Might this be an indicator of why these leaders ruled so harshly, unmercifully, and un-biblically?

ReplyDeleteSo it's your position there is only the baptism of the repentance of sins and no second Baptism of the Holy Ghost? Then what was Pentecost all about in Acts? Were these disciples not already saved? Of course they were! They received something additional which gave them power and authority. I would say any church not teaching and preaching the Holy Ghost baptism is crippling the potential of the body of Christ. And just because some people fake it that's between them and God. I know personally I received a real unknown language with a vocabulary. I can pray in this language at any time. Words are sometimes even added!
Acts 2: 1-13
Acts 19: 2-3
Paul also speaks of "Praying in the Spirit" with tongues. Praying in the Spirit requires no interpreter as it is private and spoken to God in the language we've been given.
"For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries" (1 Cor. 14:2)
This is Biblical, for us today and taught by very few churches.
So might I just question that if the NTCC fostered a loving relationship between Man and wife and parents with families, and pastors with the congregation free of all the rigid power would they then be something that people wouldn't consider a cult? It seems to me that it's the tyrannical power hungry leadership style that separates this church from maybe a holiness church/pent church/assembly church... I don't know though... Just trying to make sense of this interesting thread going on.
ReplyDeleteMike
I understand and agree with both the anonymous comment and Maurices comment. I really think that the point that Maurice was making is that it doesn't say in the bible that you have to be hauled up to the altar after a church service and have a bunch of people shouting in your ear and speaking in tongues to receive the Holy Ghost. We believe the bible and that includes the Holy Ghost Baptism. However the devil and the ntcc can corrupt the most simple things and turn them into a spectacle.
ReplyDeleteI remember being hauled up to the front of the church several times and one time I had a Homo pastor screaming in my ear while two brothers held my hands up in the air for what seemed an eternity. This is not biblical. I'm not sure that the bible says anything specifically about how a person must receive the Holy Ghost. I was told that God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you have to scream at the top of your lungs to receive the Holy Ghost. I'm pretty sure you can receive God's spirit in just about any position. What's wrong with just asking? In the early church God just came down on groups of people. There were of one mind and one accord. They asked and they received. I think the ntcc always sensationalized everything a little too much. That's my opinion for what it's worth.
We don't want to turn this thread into an argument on this doctrine. We probably won't post any comments that want to turn this into a scriptural back and forth dispute. We will entertain comments that address personal experiences of what people went through in this regard. I know we are just terrible people for not wanting to publish every comment, but if it makes the cut, we will share it. That's our prerogative. I know this makes us terrible people in the eyes of some, but we that folks eventually understand where we are coming from.
To be honest, I like the direction this blog is going right now. A lot of good comments have come in and we have published them. There are also a lot of comments that we haven't posted lately. We have put a lot of work into this blog and we reserve the right to publish relevant material. Volumes of comparisons of Christianity to cults is not something we are interested in providing a platform for. This does not make us like the ntcc. We are not making money and we are not looking for followers. We are not depriving you of your opinion either. The internet is free and if you want your opinions to be publicized there are so many options. Go over to Ashmores blog and join in the conversation. I'm sure they would love to hear how unfair and unbalanced we are. You also can start a blog of your own, if you desire. No ill will towards anyone from us. We hope you respect our right to our own freedom.
Thank you D and A for clarifying my point of view. The question was asked to give an example of something that ntcc teaches that is not bible. There is no where in the New Testament, where we study or read that God sent his Holy Spirit to a bunch of folks because they were screaming, begging, and pleading for him to do so. However it does seem that God gives his spirit to whom he will and when he will.
ReplyDeleteNo problem Maurice. I also understood and agree with the scriptures that Anonymous shared. I think that they might have misunderstood the point you were trying to make. But it's all good. I think sometimes the ntcc has taught us to be cut and dry about so many things. They had a tendency to take everything to the extreme. There was no wiggle room when it came to their own way of doing things. If Davis said the sky was green, then Olson and all of the church schlubs would go along with it. If you look at a lot of the ntcc minister's Facebook pages and twitter accounts you find that they always emphasize how many were saved and how many were filled with the Holy Ghost. I would like for them to share how many of the so called saved and Holy Ghost filled Christians remain in the cult for longer then a couple weeks or months. It would be interesting if they would be honest about how many that were saved and filled in one year remained longer than a year. Not too many.
ReplyDeleteIt seemed like there was much exertion to get the Spirit to move in any ntcc service. I remember quite a few services that God supposedly took over and it involved a bunch of people crying out really loud and to me many of those services seemed like we were all trying really hard to Get God to do something that really never happened. Prayer meetings were strained and seemed like a routine. I think that it's hard for God to bless a bunch of knuckleheads that gather together to take up collections which are used to get a few hucksters rich. How can God move when the purpose of an organization is for a few greedy people to rob from the poor to make themselves rich? Is God really pleased with that? There were times when people were doing somersaults around the altar and we cried out to God, but is that what God wanted from us? While this was all going on, Rudy was using the Servicemen's home for his personal playground. We all chipped in and bought him a diamond pinky ring with a 7 diamond cluster, two carrots I might add. So is all that screaming and rolling around on the floor really pleasing to God? I feel the same way about Davis and the rest of the evil empire. They were engaged in some pretty sick things while all of the brainwashed suckers were raising their hands and crying out to God. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with raising hands or praising God, but is God really in it when the organization is harboring sexual offenders and it's leaders are engaged in the grossest of sins themselves? HELLO!!!!
If you have to go to a Walmart to watch a Football game because you are not allowed to watch tv, you might just be in a cult.

If your religion requires you to wear a wig because you don't have enough hair to be considered a holiness woman, you might just be in a cult.
If you find a hair from a wig wearing wife in your Jalapeno Chicken, you might not ever find out where that hair came from.
If you have to ask permission to go to a family reunion, wedding or funeral, you might just be in a cult.
If your cult leader's wife wears lascivious tight fitting clothing but you are required to wear a frumpy loose fitting dress from a kook store to adhere to the church dress code, you might just be in a cult.
If you have ever been rebuked for wearing socks that don't match the color of your suit you might just be in a cult.
If you have ever been chastised for eating french fries with your fingers, you might just be in a cult.

Cults use fear to keep people around so the money will continue to roll in. When a person leaves a cult, the cult leader makes sure that the person is labelled as a God hater in the eyes of all the remaining cult members. The cult leader will visit the beaten down departing cult member with warnings of eternal judgement for leaving and ultimatums to return to the cult, (tithe check in hand), or the lake of fire will be their eternal home. If you don't return to the cult and continue to pay your tithe, you are considered a reprobate and the other cult members are told to, "leave you alone". You are not are not even in the lost sheep category. You go straight from being a Christian to being a hopeless cause and you are off limits to the other cult members. That's the way it is in the ntcc. The X-cult member then has to pick up the pieces of his or her life and often the warnings and judgmental ultimatums cause the departing cult member to live with fear in their hearts for years, if not for the rest of their life. It's true.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is that you were part of a big scam that uses Christianity to extract money from believers. If you take away the money, you have no cult. If you stop making tithe payments, the cult will go away. There would be no gospel if you stopped paying them money because their doctrine mandates money above mercy, love and grace. Stop paying tithe and the cult will go away. Stop paying tithe and see if they continue to treat you like a Christian. They won't because money is their god. Think about it. If all of you tithe paying cult members were to stop paying your tithe at the same time, the cult would have no reason or means to exist. That's the difference between a cult and Christianity. Jesus never asked for a dime of tithe and look at how many people whose lives were changed by Him. The focus was not money. Salvation didn't come with an ultimatum of hell for all who didn't pay tithe. That's how you know that the entire ntcc is a fraud and a scam.
If you are a ntcc member, you are in a cult. If you pay your tithe to them, you are enabling them. You ntcc'rs need to wake up. We understand what you are going through because we went through it ourselves. We do not want to see a bunch of good people taken advantage of by a few scoundrels. Wake up. You are used to the ntcc preachers talking down to you and you live a life of control and manipulation. Let us get in your face for a moment with a message of freedom from the false doctrine of tithe that keeps you in poverty. Let us get in your face about the fact that the ntcc is a big scam and is nothing like Christianity that Jesus preached. Read your bibles. Doesn't it raise a red flag that Jesus never said a word about tithe and the ntcc condemns non tithe paying Christians to Hell? Does it bother you that not one New Testament scripture mandates tithe paying? You are a sucker if you pay tithe to the ntcc. We were all suckers just like you until we woke up.
ReplyDeletePeople have been hell bent on forwarding the idea that Christianity is just like a cult. The life that Jesus lived does not even closely resemble the life that Kekel and Davis lived. The life of Jesus was nothing like the life of an ntcc cult leader and the lives of the people who followed Jesus were nothing like the lives of the ntcc cult members. What kind of ministry do you have that helps the poor? If a person is too poor to pay tithe, that person is not even welcome in your so called church. You look down your noses at the homeless people because Kekel looks down his nose on the poor. You target only people who are able to pay tithe while forsaking the very ones that Jesus came to save. The endless rules that control and manipulate people were not preached by Jesus. Wake up. You are being scammed out of your money, your life and your future while the people you worship, like Kekel are getting filthy rich. Do you think they really care about you? Stop paying them and see where their heart is. Take away their reason to manipulate you and see if what remains can stand the test of time. Will they still love you if you don't tithe? Of course not. They will treat you like the plague. Every single thing that is done in the ntcc is ultimately done for money or to enable those at the top of the pyramid to get richer and richer. Cut them off. Stop enabling them with filthy lucre.
I tend to think the American church is very close to obsolete. Far to many churches resemble the greediness of men, the total power over congregations. I look at these mega churches who read the books of their "Pastor" over the books of the bible. I see more people in line to buy coffee at church than to find a place and pray (not trying to sound spiritual cuz I'm not). I think the modern church is in dire need of something...
ReplyDeleteI don't think the average church that might have cult like traits resembles what NTCC has been in the past and most likely still is in the present but it's a good thing to criticize the modern church for its flaws or they'll never get fixed. Maybe saying they are cultish is overboard... What about cliquish and shallow. Does anyone have a church they know of that's good? Not perfect but at least good...
This is why so many have been wrecked by the NTCC. You either jump in with Ashmore or HOPP and continue the abuse, if that doesn't work then why not a big box church and just get lost in the shuffle, if that doesn't work then maybe you just say to heck with it all.
If I'm going to go to hell I'm at least going to go out enjoying what life I have left.
Mike
I hear you Mike and I know how you feel. When I left the ntcc, I had that same attitude. If I'm going to go to hell, I might as well not do it from a church pew and I might as well go in style. A lot of people feel this way. You are not alone. How is it that when a person leaves the borg that they think this way? They say that they do not believe they are the only ones going to heaven, but when people leave the ntcc, they feel like they are leaving God. We hope that you will find peace in God at some point. We are not going to preach at you or judge you. There is still hope for you or anyone else. The picture that was painted by the ntcc was a forgery. They made Christianity seem impossible. You are also right about the church world. So many are caught up in the routine of attending church, paying money and supporting programs. Are there any good churches? The church world can be likened unto a giant slop bucket. Is it even possible to find a good biscuit in a bucket of slop? People feel that they can not serve God unless they submit themselves to a religion, church or denomination. They try to ignore the false teachings and hypocrisy in pursuit of fitting in and allowing someone else to do their thinking for them.
ReplyDeleteIf there are sincere Christians and good churches out there, (I believe there are), They probably do not resemble the traditional churches that you see on every corner. There is a church in Texas that doesn't have a building and their outreach is to homeless people. The offerings that were given to them went towards a food pantry and shower facilities. Imagine that. There is a Salvation Army church down the road from us and they take people in and feed them. Imagine that. They probably don't preach them into hell like the ntcc does, but they actually show them this thing called "charity". This church most likely teaches salvation and I'm sure they mention heaven and hell in their sermons, but their focus isn't on being the last move on earth for mankind and most likely their leaders don't live in mansions like the Kekels. If there are churches that are "good churches", they are probably ones that do the things that Jesus taught. They probably expend more energy helping people than helping themselves. They probably are servants of all, rather than lording over people for profit.
This is actually one of the more interesting comments... I've never thought about what a church should look like in these times. What should they be doing? What should they be achieving?
ReplyDeleteAll I know is that there is a preacher, and a building in todays church model.
Stop giving people permission to abuse you, because they hold a title!

Perhaps we'll do a blog post on what the bible says a church should look like and what it says a church should not look like. I can't tell you that I know the answer exactly, but we can explore what the bible says about it. It seems that the ntcc is always on the wrong side of the bible. Their model does not match the early church. They claim to be a bible believing church but they do not stand for the things that were taught by Jesus or by the early church. They are more like the Pharisees than they are like Christians. The sad thing about it all is that they know that Christians will be obedient to them so they use the gospel to lead folks to Jesus, but they manipulate them for their own deviant purposes. They know that saved people will give and that's why they live in mansions. If they would have used their money in a way that helped others there would probably be revival in the land. The ntcc is just like the government. They come up with new programs that cost money and they tax the people to pay for these programs. Often times the people don't even have a clue where the money actually goes, and much of the money ends up going to the corrupt politician/cult leader and is spent on frivolous amenities. There is no transparency or accountability. The difference is that politicians often get hauled off to jail when they get caught stealing or molesting children. At the very least their careers are ended. The cult leader in the ntcc very seldom has to face criminal charges because they brainwash their members so that they will ignore crimes and not report them to the police. When an ntcc cult leader uses funds for a purpose other than that which they have been designated for, it is stealing. The government does this all the time and that's why social security is almost completely bankrupt. They don't stop taking it from you, they just spend it on other things. People are oblivious to this and they keep voting in the worst offenders. Let's take up another love offering. We need a piano. Our pastor needs a diamond pinky ring or a new Cadillac to replace the one we bought him last year. Don't bring that homeless person to church, they can't be helped. They have made choices that got them into that predicament. Don't knock on doors when you see a couch on the porch or a blanket being used for a curtain. We are not set up for that type of work. Our outreach is to tithe payers. If you don't believe that than try attending the cemetery, I mean Seminary and miss a tithe payment and see what happens. The ntcc hucksters want you and your money. You have to buy your way into their programs and if you don't they will kick you out of their churches and their programs. The government takes care of the homeless much better than the ntcc does. At least a homeless person can get food stamps from the government. The ntcc will give you a swift kick in the butt and tell you not to let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.

That is easier said than done. I'm assuming that you once attended an ntcc church, and if that is the case, than you allowed the ntcc to abuse you just like everyone else did. I'm not saying that your advise isn't good. It would be great if everyone that read this would follow your advise. The problem is that there are too many abusers and the abused always return to their abusers just like they would in an abusive relationship. The wife that gets beaten over and over again makes excuses for her abusive husband and always returns to him and the cycle of abuse continues. To children abuse becomes a way of life and they have no say in the matter, especially in a cult. An abusive cult is controlled by fear. In the case of the ntcc, hell is the great motivator that keeps people doing the things that are expected of them. This is spiritual abuse. You keep giving them your money and loyalty and they in turn give you a whole bunch of man made rules. If you step out of line you are quickly rebuked and the rebuked love their rebukers. It's not good English but it's true. People in the ntcc are trained like dogs under a cruel master. Dogs are pretty cool. If you treat them like they are part of the family, they will do anything for you and they will be much more loyal than if you treat them like objects. If you kick a dog around or beat a dog to get it into subjection, you will have a creature that obeys you out of fear. That's how a lot of children are raised in the ntcc; just like abused dogs. That's how members of the ntcc are treated. They are kicked around spiritually and they jump through hoops out of fear. You can say, "Good dog" when it does something right, but if you kick your dog every time it makes a mistake, you are an animal abuser and your dog is a victim of abuse. You can gloss it over all you want, but it is what it is. When you tell someone that they are going to hell if they don't pay tithe you are kicking them around just like a dog, except it's spiritual manipulation. Their money is not being used to save the lost. It's being used to provide luxury for a lazy cult leader that has never pioneered a church in his life. If you don't pay your tithe you will be taken to the spiritual dog pound and sentenced to spiritual death. It's true. Your money means more than your love. Ntcc love is phony and has many strings attached to it.
It's not easy to leave a cult when you believe that hell is your final destination. They hold the title of "Pastor" but they Lord over you like a tyrant and twist scriptures to scare you into making them rich. It's spiritual abuse. You can blame the victim if you want, but we've all been there. We blamed ourselves and ignored the abusers. Because of this attitude they get away with abuse every day. Because of this attitude they will continue to get away with it. They are like a bunch of school yard bullies but as soon as you stand up to them they will crumble. They don't have an answer for any of the stuff we blog about and that is why they too scared to reply to our comments. If they do reply it's usually so lame and it never directly addresses the problems that we bring up. The only thing they can do is attack our credibility by saying we are sinners and God haters.
I look at them as a mob. You may go into the mob with good intentions but you become like them. Bullies might be a term that's too easy on them.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure some of those guys are or were really good people. Then the abuse and power took over.
They definitely have the mob mentality. If you don't follow the rules that we have made up, we will pronounce judgment upon you. The money in a mob is handled the same way it is in the ntcc. All of the captains in a mob have to pay the mob boss a cut of the money that they have obtained through various illegal activities. The mob boss has to sustain his lifestyle of the rich and the famous. Money is laundered through various so called legit businesses. They obtain the money illegally but the source of that money has to be hidden so that it can not be traced back to criminal activity that produced it. They have to make the money that came from illegal activity appear as it came from a legitimate source. This can be done in several deceptive ways. Structuring is one way to deposit money in an account or in several accounts. The ntcc will tell you that you are on your way to hell if you steal a paperclip, while they teach their ministers to illegally structure deposits to be less than ten thousand dollars. Any deposit over ten thousand dollars must be reported by the financial institution to the Federal Government. The ntcc is just as slimy and crooked as the mob. The mob leaders take all expense paid trips overseas so they can deposit their huge amounts of cash into banks that do not report to the U.S. Government. The money is moved around from bank to bank and comes out clean on the other side. Kekel likes to take trips overseas. Real estate is another way to launder money. The ntcc can purchase a church that is in shambles, have the preacher and their members fix it up at their own expense by taking up offerings and providing free labor. The members are then required to contribute to an escrow fund that grows and grows as the years go by. When the cult leaders decide they need a bigger mansion or a more expensive car, they can send an abusive jerk into that church to run off all of the people. They then sell the church for three or four times what they bought it for and zero out the escrow with no explanation to the people who gave the money to them. Because the government doesn't look closely at religious non profit organizations, the ntcc can use the money that was obtained through false pretenses to upgrade their lifestyles right in front of the noses of the people they ripped off. Meanwhile all the brainwashed church members say, God sure is blessing the Kekels.
ReplyDeleteJust as there is no transparency or accountability with the mob, the same hold true with cults like the ntcc. If you question the mob leader or call him out, you may find yourself buried in a shallow grave in a Los Vegas dessert. If you question or call out a ntcc minister, it's like committing spiritual suicide. If you come between an ntcc huckster and his money, you will be publicly humiliated and shunned which often leads to your good name being smeared and you having to leave the church. If you have really dark and dirty secrets you could end up dead like the Moreno family. There wasn't much of an investigation into that tragedy. All we know is that an ntcc preacher got outed for leaving his wallet in a whorehouse resulting in a triple murder suicide. Moreno was ostracized for doing the right thing. He didn't know that Ashmore would spiritually assassinate his character for telling the truth. Moreno was on the phone with Jacob Espinoza when the shooting occurred. Everyone assumes that Moreno just offed his family and then killed himself. Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. None of us were there but it doesn't make too much sense. This kind of thing never does. But this we know. There is nobody in the ntcc that will stick up for Moreno family or anyone else who is shunned by the ntcc leadership. Can the blood of Roland Moreno and his family be crying out from the grave like that of the righteous Abel? Only God knows, but I personally wouldn't be surprised if the same people who are responsible for influencing dozens of preachers to get vasectomies were also involved in the cover up of something much more sinister. The ntcc is a lot like the mob. They have a proven system of conning people out of their money. They use people until they can't be used any more and then they kick them to the curb.
ReplyDeleteJust watched 20/20 this past weekend... Seems to me that Scientology looks a whole lot like NTCC. It's all about using and abusing till you either give up or move up and become the same type of jack!@# they are.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what it's going to take to bring these rats to their knees...
So just to expand on the theme of recipe for a cult, I'd like to say that the biggest thing to fall into the overall trap is your own search for the "truth". I too watched the 20/20 special as well as "Going Clear" and one of the main points I came away with was everyone was searching. The thing is all these cults initially fill something you're looking for. Friendship, black and white truth, heaven, justice for the wicked... Whatever. From NTCC to Scientology you'll find people who find something they needed to fulfill and it just happened they wandered into the wrong place. Also, I bet if we look back at our soul winning days we could tell who wasn't sticking around because you could tell they had no desire to find any religious answers or something to that effect.

ReplyDeletenot sure if searching for the truth can be a trap or not, but I am sure, that the truth will set you free. Those who reminds in ntcc remind at there own peril, after the truth was revealed concerning ntcc and its status as a cult, a lot of members choose to leave after being apart of ntcc for many years, however, there are those die hard members, who refuse to believe the truth concerning ntcc. As Christian, when God shows us the truth about cults such as ntcc we got to act on that truth in such ways as to warn others, take our family and leave, stop paying them money, etc. etc. but staying and turning a blind eye to them can be destructible.

to turn away violently from a right state, to unsettle, subvert
Acts 15:5
"But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses."
The Pharisees never went away. After they called for the Crucifixion of Jesus, they began to cause division among the early church, saying that Gentile Christians needed to be circumcised.
Acts 15:10 (Peter said): "Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?"
Acts 15:11: "But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they."
How many bible believers do we have out there? Grace, really? What a concept!
Acts 15:24
"Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:"
So what part of the law was actually carried over into the New Testament?
Acts 15:28-29
"For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well."
This is where Olson got his phrase, "It seemed good to the Holy Ghost". Too bad that ole Joe and his cult have never adhered to the rest of this passage. This verse contains the only ordinances of the law that were to be carried over into the lives of these New Testament Christians. No Circumcision. No Animal Sacrifice. No feasts. No burning of incense. No Tithe. What? Really, no tithe? No burning in hell for not paying tithe?
The ntcc is subverting souls. They want you to pack up your bags and leave if you don't get with their program. They want to unsettle you from the Christianity that is in the bible. Why would they do such a thing? Because they are hucksters and they want your money.
So where did the ntcc go wrong? They went wrong like many other churches when they turned the gospel into a money making enterprise. Everything centers around tithe and works. It's a real stretch to bring tithe into the New Testament. First they have to ignore Acts 15. They then have to ignore the fact that there is not one New Testament scripture that commands Christians to pay tithe. Not one. We've asked for years and nobody in the ntcc can give us one scripture. Even in the Old Testament there is not one scripture that commands Gentiles to pay tithe. This has been hashed over a thousand times on the blogs and not one ntcc'r can point to a mandate anywhere in the bible that commands people to pay tithe.
ReplyDeleteThis is where it gets really evil and wicked. Not only do they want you to pay tithe, but the ntcc wants you to think that if you don't pay tithe, that you will die and go to hell. You will miss the rapture because you are not right with God. Not only are you supposed to pay tithe to your cult leaders, but you also do not have a right to know where your tithe dollars go. You are supposed to give your tithe cheerfully and support every other cause that comes along, but there is no obligation from your cult leaders to be accountable as stewards of "God's money". You have a problem if you ask them to be transparent about where the money is going. And if you ask Kekel where he got all his money, you will be treated as the off-scouring of the earth.
Ntcc'rs will come on our blog and call us sinners and every other name in the book. We even catch a lot of heat from some X-ers. Some expend more time knit-picking and finding fault with any little detail they can find about what we share than they do trying to expose the ntcc for their blatant and brazen disregard for the truth. I don't agree with everything that every X-er says, but I don't pick them apart and trash them out for having an opinion. We are here to expose the ntcc. They are a cult. We are not. They are getting rich. We are not. They forced us to live by man made rules. They split up families. They spoiled good relationships. They broke all the rules while requiring us to keep them.
We were supposed to shut off our brains and ignore their actions while we tip toed carefully through a spiritual mine field of man made rules and ordinances. We were dangled over the flames every time we stumbled and the ntcc cult leaders got rich off of this.
Just as the Pharisees and the hypocrites wanted to burden the Gentiles with the law of circumcision, the ntcc and many other hypocritical churches want to burden you with tithe. They want you to support their programs and build bigger buildings. They want you to fill these buildings with tithe payers so that they can live high on the hog as you tear down barns to build bigger barns. While you are doing all the work, they want you to ignore where the money is going. They also want you to keep standards while ignoring their disregard for those same standards.
ReplyDeleteHow could we be so blind? The ntcc cult leaders were preaching women into hell for wearing ear rings while their congregations were going broke paying for diamond Pinky rings gifts for their cult idols. The ntcc cult leaders were having their way with young girls while men were getting vasectomies because children were a hindrance to God's work. Do you think God ignored all of this?
When is the last time you ever heard one ntcc cult leader admit that anything they did was wrong? When have you heard Ashmore admit that he did anything specific wrong? We expose the ntcc and Ashmore because they made a career out of beating people down and running people off. People like the Kekels and the Ashmores have literally made themselves rich off of thousands of God's people who wanted Salvation and Christianity. They subverted the souls of thousands and demanded reverence and perfection while they hid their sins from you and God. They have never come clean. They have never admitted to ever doing anything wrong. They preach personal responsibility while they answer to nobody. They demand that you confess your sins openly while they hide theirs. They want you to open up to them so they can counsel you, and they gather your personal information as ammunition to use against you in the future when the scales fall from your eyes and you become a liability to them.
Ashmore was right about one thing. You need to flee from the great whore, because that is exactly what the ntcc has been for over four decades. However, if you choose to go whoring after Ashmore than you need to apologize to all of the ntcc cult leaders because he is every bit as guilty as they are. He participated in the same spiritual genocide that he accuses the ntcc of committing. He was a ring leader and a spiritual assassin for Davis. If you follow Ashmore and point your finger at the ntcc, you are a hypocrite just like Ashmore.
Maurice, that's a good point. Looking for the truth shouldn't be what traps you. I think it's having no direction when you're looking for the truth that can lead you to these thugs and those like them. It was pure magic when I heard things in black and white. I loved it. I ignored all the warning signs because I simply didn't know up from down concerning religion.
ReplyDeleteThe truth will set you free... Unfortunately I've yet to find it.
Mike
Thanks Mike, when I started leaving comments on this blog, I have always tried to do it from the heart and with truth and honesty. I truly appreciate and is thankful for DnA for starting this blog, as well as Chief, and his blog. If you have left ntcc, then you are free from ntcc. However, remaining it ntcc will keep you captive to ntcc and there false doctrine. Ashmore was loyal to the davis family, and ntcc for forty years, and in the end he had to leave, Where did his forty years get him? Ashmore, should have left ntcc forty years ago, he reads the bible, he knows the scriptures, he knew that davis and ntcc doctrine was wrong, however, instead of standing up for Jesus, and right, he decided to stand with davis and ntcc. Amercian GI's are a cash cow for ntcc because of the money that they can bring in. Ntcc edgy, and over the top preaching is similar to what drill Sergeant do when they are trying to break a soldier down. Except ntcc, use Jesus and Pauls teachings. JESUS have never hurt anyone, but ntcc have hurt lots of Christian Brothers and Sisters. Ntcc leaders thank that they are the standard for Christianity, However, that standard does not hold up when compared to the Bible.
ReplyDeleteIt's only fair to apply the same scrutiny to every group that we apply to the ntcc. Double standards are everywhere. Would it be right to expose the ntcc for their hypocrisy, and go over to Ashmore's blog and pretend that he was not involved in the same hypocrisy? People have been plundered by the ntcc and they shut off their brains, believing that Ashmore was pure and all the other ntcc hucksters were scam artists. Ashmore was just as involved in the ntcc corruption as any other preacher was. The ntcc is full of double standard hypocrites and Ashmore has always been chief among them. Suddenly he leaves the ntcc and he claims not to know anything about the financial corruption and refuses to answer for any part he had in the whoredoms of the ntcc. Just because he joins in the chorus of calling the ntcc the great whore, doesn't mean that Ashmore has changed.
ReplyDeleteWe get a lot of youtube links and links to other websites. Today we got one that seemed to be praising a guy named Charles Jenkins. According to the anonymous person who left the link, they were apparently touched by the music. We actually google these people before we put their junk on our blog. Charles Jenkins has recently been exposed for having an eight year affair among other things. The woman that he was allegedly sleeping with got a picture of him brushing his teeth in the nude and plastered it all over the internet. Some accounts said that this huckster paid her hush money but apparently not enough. She copied and pasted a Facebook conversation she had with Jenkins that supported her claims and denied any of the extortion claims.
The point here is that we run a blog about the ntcc and it's corruption. We feel that the church world is very corrupt. We would be negligent if we supported one corrupt huckster by posting his music video on our blog while exposing other hucksters who have been guilty of the same stuff. Hucksters are everywhere. We can do a huckster of the week post every week until the end of the world and barely scrape the surface. I'm not expecting people to google every music artist that they listen to, but people are already picking us apart for every little thing we say and do. It's easy to say: "Who cares what people think about you", and it used to be hurtful to some degree, but over the years we've become pretty much immune to criticism. If we are dead wrong about something we've owned up to it. If our opinions offend people, sorry, but this is an opinion based blog. If testimonies of others offend, we choose to allow their voices to be heard. The ntcc never cared about anyone's feelings, why should we care about theirs? They chose to conceal and hide everything, while we choose to put it all out there for everyone to see. We treat Ashmore the same way as the ntcc hucksters. If he were to come clean, perhaps we wouldn't expose him with the rest of the ntcc hucksters. Is that not fair and balanced?
Regardless of how sincere that we all may have been, maybe we all played a role in creating a cult like ntcc for not questioning there true motives and intentions, we just excepted everything that was thrown at us as if it was from God, regardless of how crazy that it may have sounded. The red flags that were there, we ignored as well, we were intimidated, scared to speak up, or speak out for fear of going to hell , they kept hell over our heads even though we was born again Christians, we were and are Gods adopted sons and daughters, we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ Jesus, and even with all that, we still allowed ntcc to make us fearful of a loving God and Savior.

I think you are right about that Maurice. There was a time when I felt that the ntcc was the last move of God on earth. They eventually break you down and you either become one of them or you leave. My last 6 years in the ntcc were miserable and I was miserable. I adopted the ntcc favoritism towards those who were in all the way, while shunning those who were struggling. I really turned into a clone of the ministers who were selfish and entitled. Having been thoroughly brainwashed, the last few miserable years were wasted just going through the motions. They took something beautiful and made it evil. Messing with souls for financial gain is unconscionable, and that is what they did.
