The Story Behind The Song
I know I've started over around 2005. I think the most important thing to remember though is to not forget what's happened. Don't forget how you became ensnared by these con men. Don't forget what you've given up and lost. Otherwise you'll end up with another organization similar to this one. I look at these big box churches as very passive NTCC's. Instead of control they offer you the control while you sip their coffee, buy their books and clothing making their con men rich in the process.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the answer for where there is a real honest to God church but I don't. This has left me empty spiritually. NTCC has caused such distrust I don't know if I'll ever over come that.
Anyhow don't forget the draft is coming up at the end of April. I expect the Vikings to get the final pieces needed for the super bowl.
Anonymous, I agree with you. I distrust any church that says you must pay ten percent tithe or any amount, I have not paid any mandatory tithe at all since leaving ntcc, I do give in offerings but no more paying of tithe for me, what ever God put on my heart to do, then that's what I will do.
ReplyDeleteProverbs 26:28
ReplyDelete"A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.
Proverbs 27:4
"Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?"
Mathew 24:24
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
Huckster of the Week:
ReplyDeleteThis week's huckster award is shared by two individuals in the same mega church based in none other than St. Louis, Missouri.
Huckster #1: Steve Wingfield, Pastor of First Christian Church of Florissant, a 2,500 member 100,000 square foot megachurch compound valued at $18,000,000.00. This Huckster was told that his youth minister was exposing himself to five teenage boys and spooning with a another teenage boy while sleeping with him every night in the same bed. Wingfield just took a mysterious 6 month sabbatical which just happened to coincide with the aftermath of his youth minister being convicted and sentenced for sexually molesting and sodomizing two 11 year old boys. Wingfield ignored those who confronted him about the pedophile Brandon Milburn's behavior and continued to harbor this sexual predator enabling him to commit more acts of sodomy and sexual perversion. Wingfield recently dropped a lawsuit for $25,000.00 in damages against a whistle blower named Dawn Vavril who reported sexual abuse to the police and stated publicly that Wingfield ignored her when she informed him of her concerns about Brandon Milburn. This Huckster was much more concerned about his own image and the church's image than he was about the victims of abuse. link
This story is very reminiscent of the Fontenot child molestation and rape of his own daughter in which Kekel and Olson harbored Fontenot the pedophile while telling his wife at that time to take her daughter and find another church.
Huckster #2: Brandon Milburn, Former Youth Minister of First Christian Church of Florissant, now serving 7 consecutive 25 year sentences for acts of Sodomy committed against young boys while abusing his position of trust for his own sexual gratification. This huckster was confronted by Whistle blower Dawn Varvil about exposing himself to 5 teenagers and using his position of trust to convince them to expose themselves to him. His explanation was: "We were just joking around," he told her. "It's just a guy thing, Dawn. You don't understand how guys are with each other." This pedophile would buy teens expensive gifts and take them to Cardinal games to win their trust. link
The culture in the ntcc is to ignore scandals and to destroy the credibility of anyone who exposes them for their involvement in said scandals. Most of the members and many X-members of the ntcc shy away from this exposure. People still feel that these hucksters were appointed by God and they ignore all of the warnings and those of us who warn others about them. So many times we are looked at as the scum of the earth for exposing these crooks while the ntcc hucksters get a pass from those who love and adore them. The victims of abuse are considered more evil than their abusers and so many people seek to exonerate the ntcc leadership rather than believe any of the first hand accounts that people give of what they went through. So many times we have heard people tearing down the victims so that the predators can get a free pass. We have got so much grief from people because we published the testimonies of Lisa, Lori, Ken, Julie and Pam. It seemed like folks were more interested in implicating these victims as willing participants than they were about acknowledging the perversion of those who exploited them. With each one of their testimonies there was a cover up involved. Lisa and Lori were called whores and sluts while being forced out of the church. Ken was ridiculed and suffered public humiliation when he confronted Ashmore. Eventually Ken was forced out while Johnny Jordan was harbored. Julie was ignored and abused as a child and an adult and eventually her own mother denied that she ever had a daughter. Pam tried to confide in Olson about Davis's sexual advances towards her, and Olson said, "I can not accept it, and it would be best for you to find another church to go to". In all these situations, the victims of abuse were touted as the problem while the abuse was ignored and the abusers were off limits.
ReplyDeleteThis is the culture in scandal ridden churches. The reason people doubt the victims is because they were taught to ignore inappropriate behavior and sexual abuse. We all were taught that any accusations against these so called men of God were lies of the devil and that anyone who would speak of such things must be liars and reprobates. They were considered to be above reproach and questioning any of their doctrines or behaviors was unacceptable. This attitude is still present and people still fear and quake when confronted with acknowledging any wrong doing among ntcc board members.
Case in point: J.R. Ashmore. Ashmore was involved in the coverup of so many ntcc scandals, but when he left the ntcc, nobody dared to question his involvement. It appears that the long time x-minister who blew the lid off of many of these scandals seems to have forgotten these victims and us, so that he can be accepted by Ashmore. This minister of over 30 years repeatedly encouraged us to publish the accounts of Lisa, Ken, Pam and Julie and even brought these testimonies to Bruce Smith who published them without mentioning their names. These victims all came to us and wanted their voice heard and gave us permission to use their names so that their testimonies would have credibility. Ashmore denied knowing anything about the ntcc financial scams despite being treasurer, secretary and notary public and signing so many legal documents. Ashmore has yet to acknowledge any involvement in his mistreatment of the Moreno family or Lisa, Lori or Ken. Everyone is terrified to death of Ashmore and nobody will hold him accountable or even approach him about these subjects.
ReplyDeleteAshmore is a living and breathing example of how people ignore the abuser and blame the victims. You would think that Ashmore was one of the 24 elders in the book of Revelation the way that people worship and adore him. The reason that the ntcc and people like Ashmore are allowed to keep scamming people out of their money is because people are afraid of confrontation and they have been brainwashed to believe that ntcc board members are off limits. It must be a sin to question their motives. Long time bloggers and former ministers are also whoring after Ashmore. They all participate in Ashmore's private blog and they all love him in spite of his 4+ decades of abuse. People are suckers and as long as there are hucksters to support and follow, they will shut off their brains.
Proverbs 28:13
ReplyDelete"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy."
Mathew 23:23
"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone."
I met a Chaplain the other day and we had a conversation about God and church. He had roots in the Pentecostal Holiness movement and but seemed to not emphasize outward appearance standards. He says he got saved when he was young and had long hair. He was a snow boarder and he joined a group called, "snow boarders for Jesus". He got involved with the Pentecostals and eventually went to their bible school. He got a haircut because he felt that his hair was too long but his haircut was not short enough to please them, so he had to get another haircut. I could tell that this guy had been part of a manipulative group.
ReplyDeleteIn our conversation, he seemed very concerned when he found out that I do not attend church services. He said that you have to be accountable to someone. While I understand that iron sharpeneth iron, and that a healthy church can be inspirational, I also think that a lot of people get themselves in trouble when they feel they have to be accountable to a man. That's exactly how a cult works. I really don't have anything against people attending church. But church is more than a building where people gather together and take up collections. So many churches have become so corrupt that people don't even think about what they are doing or why they are doing it. They have become resigned to the business as usual attitudes that influence people to support the careers of the religious leaders, but they ignore the motives of the church leaders. People will tell you that you need to find a church and attend it. You see, I think that the ones who need to be accountable are the church leaders and they need to be accountable to Church members. People have this backwards. People should be very careful about joining a group, especially after being burned once. The church is not all about giving for improvements on a building. Collections are vehicles to accumulate money and so often money gets misappropriated. This Chaplain told me the same thing that others have told me. He said God will bless me in spite of what the misguided leaders of this cult did with the money that we gave them. Perhaps they are right, but I have to question that. Many of us gave thousands of dollars to the ntcc hucksters and it wasn't until we got out of this cult that many of us finally prospered financially to some degree. Why would God want us to join another group and give our money to them? Does God want us to be poor so a huckster can be rich? You be the judge of that, but my belief is that there are very few churches out there that are doing what God really intended for them to do. If you are going to give to anyone, perhaps you should follow the model that Jesus left in the New Testament when he told the rich man to sell what he had and give to the poor, and then he would have treasure in heaven. I haven't found any scriptures that instruct New Testament Christians to give our money to a building fund, a world missions fund or some other fund. If you want a building, build it yourself at your own expense and allow people to come to church without charging them money. If you want to give to world missions, go over seas and give of your time and money to people that actually will benefit from your gifts, but don't beat people up for money and send it to some church treasury for some unscrupulous huckster to distribute. People want you to live according to the gospel of accountability to someone else and this involves trusting someone else to use your resources to bolster a program that may or may not be on the level. The problem is that we have been preached at over and over about not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together and this makes people feel obligated to join a religion, or join a church or a cult. Until we find a group of people who truly love God and get together to lift up Christ without all the manipulative expectations and financial needs that are mandatory but not transparent, we will take our chances being accountable to God rather than man.
I don't mind the idea of a pastor, in fact I'm probably someone who needs a pastor. I just dislike/distrust so many of them. I also get this feeling that so many of them are feminine. Joel Olsteen seems like a nice guy but I wouldn't pick him to go into battle with. Just so girly.

On Sirius radio there is a Joel Osteen channel. Recently I listened in to hear what he had to say, and I also got the same impression. His voice is in the same range as a lot of women. He seems to share lots of illustrations of people giving to others. He orates the prosperity gospel, and he is a smooth talker. He encourages people to give to one another and he'll tell no less then a dozen stories of people giving and God blessing them in return. This is all fine and dandy, but then he asks for donations and sells his messages. This dude doesn't need donations. He is no different than the hucksters that ruled our lives with the exception of the amount of control and manipulation he exerts over his followers. The ntcc likes to control relationships and enforce man made rules on people. I'm sure Kekel and the other hucksters on the general board would love to pattern their doctrine after Osteen so they could reap the financial benefits, but the Davis doctrine still has a lot of the old timers mesmerized and Kekel isn't ready to make that transition which would involve defecating all over the holiness crowd and doctrine. Tanya loves Joel Osteen and follows his tweets on her twitter account.
What it all boils down to is that the church world is nothing more than a money making enterprise. I know that you and many others think that you need a pastor, but in this day and age it's hard to find someone sincere that is not going to take advantage of people for their own gain and glory. God knows this and in light of the corruption, people have to learn to do their best with what they have to work with. Personally, I believe that God can keep us without some huckster exploiting us for money or cheap labor. We have been taught that we can't make it without a pastor. There are scriptures that support a need for spiritual leaders but there are also scriptures that warn us to beware of false prophets. We are living in perilous times. I'm sure if a person were patient and willing to attend 100 different churches in search of a just pastor that they would eventually find one. It's like digging in a gigantic slop bucket in search of a good biscuit.

That is a very good assessment. So many people feel the need to jump back into the religious fray and they will sign up with another group of con artists. You are much better off finding your own way than being led around by the blind and ending up in a ditch. Great comment Viking fan.

That's how giving was intended to be. There is no such thing as mandatory tithe in the New Testament. Anyone who preaches tithe is preaching lies. We were all guilty of living a lie, but we don't have to get caught up in the same gag with a different group. Jesus spake much more about helping the poor than He did about giving to a church. When he did speak about giving he mentioned how the poor widow who gave two mites gave more than all the rich people who gave large amounts. Churches are corrupt and pastors are corrupt. You shouldn't trust them until you find out what they are all about. Don't waste your money, or God's money on a bunch of money grubbers. Ask God about it. Should I give this rich preacher who lives in a multi million dollar mansion and drives a hundred thousand dollar car your money, God? Of course you shouldn't. That huckster doesn't need any more of your money. He definitely doesn't need 10% of your income. If your preacher is living like a politician chances are he's not doing God's work and if you support him you are enabling him to make merchandise out of the people of God.
[Pro 22:16 KJV] 16 He that oppresseth the poor to increase his [riches, and] he that giveth to the rich, [shall] surely [come] to want.
ReplyDeleteGive to the rich if you want to; but this scripture says you will surely come to want. That doesn't sound good to me.
So the bible clearly tells us that giving to the rich will cause one to come to want. Not a good thing.
ReplyDeleteWhat will the ntccer say? They will claim they are giving to world missions. I say prove it. Prove how much money the ntcc received on behalf of world missions and prove how much money the missionaries received.
ntcc gives its members no financial statements.
ntcc operates without being accountable to its members.
It is irresponsible of the members to enable this lack of accountability.
God warns against such:
Her princes in the midst thereof [are] like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. (Eze 22:27 KJV)
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Mat 7:15 KJV)
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (Mat 10:16 KJV)
Do you think someone as wise as a serpent is going to blindly give his or her hard earned dollar to some rich religious huckster?
ReplyDeleteWould someone as wise as a serpent give money without requiring a financial statement of proof that the money is being used for the intended purpose?
All we are saying is don't give them your money until they prove it is going where they said it would.
We challenge you to go up to those who have been out on the mission field and ask them how much money they received from the World Missions fund.
ReplyDeleteGo ask some of those ministers and wives who labored overseas who paid for the church, the electric, the water, the groceries, the furniture, their housing, their tickets to and from ALL conferences. Ask about their healthcare benefits and life insurance policies.
Then compare it to the kekels, the kinsons, the johnsons, the difrancescos, the olsons and others you see in Washington. Look at how they live.
Then ask yourself, Who does the real work of winning souls in the ntcc?
THINK. PRAY. ACT.
Stop enabling religious hucksters to fleece God's flock.
Ask yourself who is out there globetrotting on vacation (that you paid for) and what are the missionaries doing by comparison. How do they live?
ReplyDeleteGo ask Becky and John Rodrigues how long they slept on the floor with no matress while they were missionaries.
Ask Becky who bought her shoes when she came to the states one year for a conference and her shoes were so poor that Diana Taylor had to buy her a pair out of LOVE.
Open your eyes and look at how the folks in Washington live.
Stop giving to the rich, or you will surely come to want.
Shaking my head!
Oh, and when you talk to the missionaries, past and present, don't just go by today's info. Ask about the track record of life in the ntcc. Get a full history of financial status and who has what and who paid for what. Don't be shy. It's your money. Be a good steward. The truth doesn't need to hide. Only sin wants to hide. Let's shine a little light on these matters. Get real numbers, real facts.
ReplyDeleteBe wise as a serpent when you ask kekel where the money goes; but don't expect him to be as harmless as a dove when he answers you.
ReplyDeleteDoth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? (Pro 8:1 KJV)
ReplyDeletePart of me thinks the corruption stems from a desire of power over others verses a desire for money.
ReplyDeleteThe vast majority of crimes reported are those of sexual deviancy over others, abuse of position and on and on.
I suppose part of the control or power centers around money and that's why it's so focused on but in the end what do these people have other than the Church and their pastor? Where would they be if they quit (other than happier)?
If they had disposable income or good jobs/education they could escape.
I will say there is something for living in poverty as a missionary. I think you can reach the people easier if you're living where they are.
ReplyDeleteI don't know though since I've never been a missionary.
Anonymous, I am sorry to disagree with you, however I do understand what you are saying. If ntcc want there missionaries to live as poor as the people that they are trying to reach. Then, for what purpose are they taking up missionary funds? I contend that its just another of ntcc tricks to hide money from the Government by labeling it missionary funds when ntcc missionaries receive little of it, if at all. Further more where is it written that in order to reach the poor, you got to be poor? Davis, kekel, olson ashmore and others do not believe in trying to reach the poor because they have no money. There missionary fund is just a cover-up, they have been taking up missionary for over thirty years.
ReplyDeleteUgh--Joel Osteen. I'd never heard him preach until I was over in China. Turned on the tube in the hotel and there he was, bloviating on about how God wants us all to be rich. Great, that's the impression of American Christianity that's being peddled. They'd be better off sticking with Confucius.
ReplyDeleteIf missionaries should live in poverty to reach people by "living where they are," then pastors here should also refrain from filthy lucre so as to reach the people here (unless they're ministering exclusively to the 1%).

Don't you know that God has a blessing waiting for you with your name on it? Give and it shall be given unto you. Show an act of arbitrary kindness to someone in need and God will bless you. God wants you to prosper just like Joel. If you would like a copy of this message please send a donation to the Joel Osteen slush fund because his 40 million dollar personal net worth is not enough. Please send donations because his 10.5 million dollar mansion with six bedrooms, six bathrooms, three elevators, five fireplaces, a guest house and pool house is just not enough. If you give, God will bless you just like Joel Osteen. Joel stopped receiving his salary of $200,000.00 back in 2005 because he loves the Lord and doesn't feel the people should pay his salary. This non profit huckster uses church funds to pay for free advertising for his books which sell millions of copies as he accumulates gargantuan amounts of wealth. He is a big time Huckster. Maybe we'll make him the Huckster of the week, or month, or year.
The ntcc loves Joel Osteen. Tanya re-tweets Joel Osteen's prosperity doctrine all the time. Tanya and Mike would love to upgrade their mansions again. They just need some more mindless suckers to give them more money. Don't you know it's all about souls in the ntcc? Mike and Tanya are laborers in their god's fields. They have just been blessed by their god because they are so dedicated to their non profit organization and their love for souls supersedes any desire to have wealth. They can't help it that their god keeps blessing them. So go out there and win some more souls. You just are not doing enough for the kingdom of the ntcc. The Organization needs more tithe paying suckers because the Kekels just don't have enough worldly possessions. So pay your tithes on time so you are not overweight for the rapture you suckers. Mike and Tanya need more weak minds and strong backs to give and labor without questioning their greed for filthy lucre. Mike and Tanya's god will bless you abundantly and richly if you follow their example. The blessings are just around the corner. Don't give up. Don't you know all the people that gave up would have been blessed if they would have just trusted in their ntcc leaders? They all quit just before the blessings were getting ready to rain down upon them.
Proverbs 31:30
ReplyDelete"Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."
James 3:18
"And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace."
Hope you all enjoyed the scriptures. I heard on the radio that March was bible appreciation month and decided to share some proverbs and New Testament for each day of the month. Many of the New Testament scriptures came from the book of James. Many of the scriptures had a lot to say about the poor and the rich. Solomon was given many riches because he asked God for wisdom to lead the people of Israel. God was so moved that Solomon sought wisdom above riches and all other things that He made Solomon the richest man on earth. In the book of Proverbs there were many exhortations to the rich and the poor. James had a lot to say about this subject also, as did Jesus. None of them spoke of paying tithe or outward Holiness standards. Riches corrupt people and there are many warnings of this in the bible. Just about every scripture that we shared has been ignored by the ntcc, whose leaders have become ridiculously wealthy off of the poor. The only respect they have for the poor is used to fleece them for more money so they can live high on the hog.
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing is that they claim to be a bible believing church. They don't really believe the bible. If they did, they would get saved and stop profiting off of the misery of others. There is no shortage of suckers in this world. People will shut off their brains and allow the ntcc hucksters to do all of their thinking for them. People ignore the double standards and the hypocrisy because they have been told that they are special and chosen by God above all other denominations to be Saints. As long as they pay their tithe and are loyal to the point of ignoring the abuse of power, they will make it into heaven. The ntcc is good at twisting the scriptures. They are also good at ignoring the scriptures that condemn them. They have exploited thousands of people with Old Testament tithe doctrine, but they have forsaken the poor. They only care about people who have paychecks to tithe to them. If you don't pay tithe, you can not be one of them. Thank God that Jesus wasn't like that. The ones who collected tithe also had Jesus crucified. They were hypocrites just like the money grubbing ntcc leadership. Kekel is a hypocrite and his god is your money. Kekel collects your tithe contrary to the New Testament which they have named their church after. They claim to be New Testament Christians, but they are nothing more than con artists who have twisted scriptures to get rich. If you are in the ntcc and you have read the book of Proverbs, the book of James or the words of Jesus, you might want to rethink your allegiance to a group that provides lip service, but lives contrary to the words they claim to cherish.
Profiting off the misery of others...
ReplyDeleteI used to believe the more life sucked the more I was a Christian. I was being persecuted for laboring for the lord and blah blah blah...
How miserable does one have to be before they see this is a scam?
Mike
I think Davis was a miserable human being... Misery loves company. Especially when that company is willing to give you the shirt off your back and grovel at your feet.
ReplyDeleteon the topic of you have to be accountable to someone .... for what ?
ReplyDeleteit's the Holy Spirit that convicts of sin. a person knows if they are right or wrong. and if so be they don't God can bring it around to that persons knowledge concerning what they are doing whether it is by another person, the Bible or the Holy Spirit.
God may speak to a person that they shouldn't do a certain thing, but the pastor or person whatever doesn't know about it. So being accountable to someone doesn't mean you will always be on the right road.
Mark 7:7
ReplyDelete"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
This is basically what people do to compensate for not having a relationship with God. God is awesome and being a Christian is too. Man, we deserve to burn, but God loves us. All we have to do his love God back. This is the gospel. It has nothing to do with paying tithe or being accountable to some man. When you love God, you don't have to make up doctrines or conjure up religions that make people live by a bunch of rules that don't have their roots in the bible. It's simple. If someone teaches you something other than the gospel of Christ, don't waste your time. Chances are that the motives of these false prophets are to accumulate wealth or to be worshiped and adored by men.
Tithe is definitely a commandment of men and is taught in vain to New Testament Christians. We did a lot of things in vain in the ntcc. We ignored the poor while we gave to the rich. We ignored our families and loved ones. We dishonored our parents contrary to what Jesus taught. I remember certain pastors rebuking their members for being "attached to the umbilical cord", because they financially supported their parents. You see, the ntcc wanted that money and they were quick to rebuke Christians for sending money home. The ntcc wants you to think that relieving your parents or helping them financially is "Corban" or it is a gift by whatsoever they might be profited by them. Just as the Pharisees taught people to dishonor their parents, the ntcc teaches the same junk. They are more interested in your money than you. Stop giving to them and you will see that we speak the truth. If you stop giving your money to them you will be cutting of the head of their god. Giving them your money is an exercise in futility, but don't listen to us, we are just bitter X-ers who need to "get over it", and "move on".
The ntcc is willing to admit that honor means financial assistance as it relates to giving to their money to the preacher, but when they give to their parents they are considered babies, still attached to the umbilical cord. 1 Timothy 5:17 doesn't apply to the ntcc hirelings because they don not "rule well". They teach against honoring your mother and father. "Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine." The ntcc labors in the commandments and doctrines of man. Any money that you give to them is in vain. It would be much more honorable to give to your parents than it would to give to the hucksters in the ntcc. In the ntcc your money is going towards making Tanya and Mike rich. They laugh at you for being completely ignorant as you ingratiate yourselves to them by feeding their insatiable appetite for wealth and power. What part of this do you ntcc'rs not understand? Are you completely blind? Are there any brain cells that actually work up stairs? Are we bitter for using our brain cells? God doesn't want you to be ignorant. The Athenians worshiped the UNKNOWN GOD" ignorantly in Acts 17. They spent their time in nothing else but to either tell, or hear some new thing. Paul called this superstitious and told them that God no longer winks at their ignorance but calls them to repentance. Don't keep choosing to be ignorant. These hucksters are not worthy of your tithes or dedication to their cause because they are not honorable and they are teaching in vain the doctrines of man.
ReplyDeleteDavis actually taught that your money is God's money. Don't give it to your parents, put it in the offering basket and don't dare question me on how I spend it. I can spend it on bubble gum if I want to. This is also Kekel's attitude. It's okay for Kekel to spend God's money on tapestries for his Jacuzzi or to take an all expense paid vacation on your dime to visit the temple of the false goddess Diana. Kekel dishonored his parents when he mocked his mother publicly for having a cracked toilet seat when he could have easily replaced it or even bought her a whole new house. But he chose to dishonor his parents as an example for you to follow.

ReplyDeleteLast night we watched two movies; Spotlight and Concussion. We must be quite the devils for watching two movies on the devil vision. Oh, I forgot, God changed His mind about the devil visions because the ntcc now watches them. Both movies were about organizations that had a huge amount of money and were trying to cover up major scandals. Concussion was about the brain disease called CTE, which many players have recently been diagnosed with. CTE which stands for Chronic traumatic encephalopathy was found in many football players and was caused by trauma to the head from the brain suffering impact against the skull multiple times. The NFL actually denied this and paid experts to lie about it. They discredited Dr. Omalu who discovered the disease and covered it up while more NFL players continued to die. Roger Goodell the NFL's commissioner was part of the cover up but when CTE could no longer be hidden Goodell all of the sudden changed his tune and now seems to be esteemed as a champion for concussion related injury prevention. The full power and finances of the NFL fought against Dr. Omalu and they were able to make it seem like the doctor was a kook who practiced voodoo. He stuck to his guns and was vindicated when CTE could no longer be hidden or down played.
ReplyDeleteThe movie "Spotlight" was about the Catholic Church and their cover up of Pedophile Priests. This was a story that had been ignored for a long time and covered up by the Catholics all the way from the Vatican on down. The Boston Globe had a group of reporters who investigated the many accounts of sexual abuse and found that there were a very large number of Priests who were molesting young boys and girls. Research showed that 50% of the celibate priests were having sex with someone. Many were forcing themselves on children. They would prey upon kids that were from low income families and many of these kids were in abusive situations where their parents had drug and alcohol related problems, or where the Mother was abandoned by her husband or where the father of the children had died. All of this was hidden and the full power and finances of the Catholic Church were brought down to bear on anyone who tried to expose these priests. The priests were moved around from parish to parish and victims were ignored or paid off to keep their mouths shut. Nobody wanted to acknowledge the sexual crimes that were committed and the truth was fought against by just about everyone. The Catholic church and community leaders, the police and lawyers, judges and city officials all ignored the victims and enabled the child molesting perverts in the Catholic church to continue molest more victims. Sound familiar?
ReplyDeleteSo many people hate it when we talk about pedophiles in the ntcc. We have been mocked for drawing attention to it and people have ignored us, but that's okay because at the end of the day we have done our part to shine the light on the ntcc. The ntcc hates it because it effects their bottom line. They will harbor child molesters like Davis, St. Clair, Johnny Jordan and Fontenot because they would rather ignore the tragedy of ruining children's lives than they would have their precious name associated with crimes against children and their money flow constricted. When the Boston Globe started investigating the Catholic Church, they originally thought that there were 13 priests involved and they were amazed that 13 out of 1500 priests in Boston were pedophiles. When the number increased to 87 priests with over 600 victims it became a story. An estimated 6% of the Catholic Priests world wide were found to have been involved in sexual crimes against children and that is just the ones that were caught. Priests that were caught were moved from place to place so they could continue molesting more children.
The ntcc often encourages celibacy and forbids many to marry by discouraging individual relationships, but many of the sexual sins are committed by married men and women in the ntcc. Aside from the crimes against children there is a lot of fornicating, adultery and homosexuality that has taken place over the years. People think that this should all be ignored and not talked about. Kinson's trips to the whorehouse are his business and it's okay for him to impose tithe and holiness on others, but how dare anyone point their finger at him for being a whore mongerer.
It's not cool to blow the whistle on sexual predators. Nobody wants to hear it and nobody wants to acknowledge it. It couldn't have possibly happened and it couldn't possibly be still happening. Out of all the people who were interviewed, it was the victims who came forward. They were ignored and marginalized for many years and the statute of limitations had expired in many areas. People didn't want to be inconvenienced by the implications that their precious Catholic church and their faith in these predators might be shaken.
ReplyDeleteWhen you ignore the victims you enable the predators. When you blame the victims you vindicate the perpetrators. We have been called the nastiest of all the bloggers and we have been shunned by quite a few people. At the end of the day it might hurt a little but we can't afford to allow that to detract from what we believe is the right thing. Right is right and wrong is wrong. If it raises awareness to anyone, and even one crime against a child is avoided, we consider it a worthy cause. The ntcc takes what they want. They move people around to avoid getting caught. The predators are often promoted while the victims are kicked to the curb or thrown out with the garbage.
It was found that many of the victims were so traumatized by their experiences that they wouldn't come forward on their own. Very few wanted to deal with the shame of what happened to them and were afraid of how others would treat them. For every one that came forward there were dozens who remained anonymous. Even the parents and loved ones of the victims tried to cover it up because they didn't want to be associated with the shame of what their children had to endure.
Thank you Julie, Lisa, Ken and Pam for sharing what you went through. You should have never had to go through any of it. You have raised awareness and your testimonies are not in vain. You have gone public and you are the named representatives for so many others who haven't been able to come forward. Thank you for your strength and courage. People that haven't had to deal with this might not understand you, but I think many do. For those who have committed sexual crimes, you might think that you are getting away with it, but there will be a day of reckoning. Who knows how many pedophiles and predators are still in the ntcc and still getting away with it? God knows and there are some that will never turn a blind eye to it.
I think it's awesome when predators get what's coming... It's not cool for the predators or the people who have to look the congregation in the eye.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned I'm surprised one of these "pastors" didn't end up on the show To Catch a Predator on MSNBC.
I don't know Julie, Lisa, or Pam but I will say that eventually people who hurt children or use their power to hurt the innocent will pay. And pay dearly...
ReplyDeleteStart over... YES! You own your life now. Treat it like the gift it is and don't give these perverts a second thought.
ReplyDeleteI have so much I regret, but other than throwing money away it's seeing what a total butt head I became. I don't like how mean I was... Just get saved and filled with the holy ghost was the only empathy you'd get out of me.
ReplyDeleteI can't see how I could have fallen for this but hey, I am moving on and the only thing I think about is the justice we all deserve. For Julie... For Lisa... I hope you see the day when it's served cold!

2 Corinthians 8:13-14King James Version (KJV)
ReplyDelete13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:
14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
2 Corinthians 8:13-14 King James Version (KJV) boy, that's a beautiful scripture. like doubting Thomas, until i see or here of all the members of ntcc from the least to the greatness, prospering, and is just as wealthy as the Kekels, Joel Olsteen, Creflo Dollar, etc. etc. I will never believe that these prosperity preachers or of God. In Christ Jesus, there is no big I and little U. God is no respect of person. With the millions upon millions of born again Christians world wide does anyone truly believe that the God of the New Testament, will only bless a handful of men with wealth and not all of his children? Also, in the New Testament, the only spiritual being that offered the kind of wealth and power that Solomon had was Satan, when he tempted Jesus, which Jesus rejected.
ReplyDeleteHoorahhhh...
ReplyDeleteStarting over rocks...
The first thing I did was something for myself. I have since never stopped giving myself stuff that makes me happy.
Nice car Check
Nice house Check
Nice clothes check
No need to be in poverty for a bunch of con men.
Let's not forget that our children and grandchildren will never be enslaved by this group of fakes...
ReplyDeleteThey've lost generationally every time they run someone off.
As for me I enjoy going to my kids athletics and afterschool stuff and not have to worry about yelling at a wall for an hour as though I'm talking to God. I don't have to harass soldiers for an 2 or 3 hours a week. I don't have to give till it hurts.
Lights out NTCC
They lose generationally even when they don't run the parents off...most NTCC kids can't wait to bail from that prison and usually do so as soon as they can (unless they're female and were married off at 16).
ReplyDeleteVic that is so disgusting it hurts... Being married off at 16... Crap I was in a Jeff Warren's type cult!
ReplyDeleteIt hurts to know that I was stupid for so many years.

There is nothing wrong with being poor and God shows favor to the poor. Being poor is not a prerequisite to being a Christian. Living in poverty so that a handful of preachers can live like rock stars is not the kind of poverty that brings blessings from heaven. If you don't believe that, just look at the poor in the ntcc. The promised blessings never find their way to these enablers. They are fleeced over and over again and they never have anything because of the "needs" of the "work" of the Lord.
After all we are free moral agents. We choose to work and we choose what to do with our money. Is it really pleasing to God for anyone to give their hard earned money to some religious nutcase that is going to use it for their own prosperity? You really have to shut off your brain if you think that God is going to bless you while all of your sacrifices are being hoarded by ntcc board members. God will bless you they say as they spend your money on frivolous amenities for themselves. These monetary givers stay poor and scoff at anyone who finds financial freedom. You couldn't possibly love God if you are buying nice things for yourself.
Meanwhile your borg leaders are buying nice things for themselves with your money. Can you say Sucker? How brain dead do you have to be? You say, "God is blessing them, for their sacrifices and labors of love". No, they are hucksters and you are the suckers that make it possible for them to prosper. That is what the prosperity gospel is all about. Prosperity doctrine only works if you have a con man or huckster and a group of suckers that thinks they will one day be blessed if they give their money to said con man. Don't listen to us. We couldn't possibly know what we are talking about. Don't believe the bible either. All the scriptures that warn you about false prophets and wolves in sheep's clothing supposing that gain is godliness are meant to be pitchforked to all the other denominations that the ntcc preaches against. There will never be a shortage of brain washed suckers in the church world, because people will always refuse to believe that its possible that they are the ones who are being taken for fools.
I never saw anyone get married at 16. Is this really something that happened in NTCC or is this referring to other cults?
ReplyDelete"I never saw anyone get married at 16. Is this really something that happened in NTCC or is this referring to other cults?"
ReplyDeleteAsk Crystal Appolinaro (can't remember her married name, but she got it as a teenager). I think Tanya was 17, but Debbie Kinson might have been 16. Wasn't Julie 16? I wasn't uncommon back in the day.
That would be Crystal Ripka. She was married and pregnant getting on the yellow School Bus. Babies having babies. That's MyNTCC.
ReplyDeleteAnother one was David "Davy-O" Tieman. He needed a signed permission slip from Mommie Dearest and Dada before marrying his first bride (now divorced).
That's why Davis didn't want people telling church members how old they are. Members might not know the Bible; but they do understand that "Jail Bait" means.
If you're 25 and you marry you're blushing bride on her 16th birthday, they are gonna wonder why you were chasing a kid around.
If I'm a parent, I don't want some dude in his twenties pursuing or ogling my young teen daughter. He's supposed to be an adult. She is a minor. Pick on someone your own age. Dude. Are you that immature that you cannot find someone your own age? Or are you in a twisted cult that promotes teen girls marrying older men in order to keep the girls enslaved to the cult. Do those teen brides have High School Diplomas? Have they ever held a full time job? Do they have any way of supporting themselves if the hubby is abusive or cheats and they wind up divorced? Or are they virtual slaves?
NTCC is sick.
