Today I woke up and was thinking again of Sister Linda Hasty. Yesterday I was wondering if the ntcc had tried to grab her house, the way they did to Rich Hampton when his wife Penny left him and their four kids for Ashmore's son - read more. Did the org step in and try to help the man heal? No. They match-made him with Diana Marshall after her husband Mike left her and her sons in the Philippines. Did the org. give the newlyweds time to heal? No. They ordered Hampton to move to Mexico, Missouri to build a work for ntcc there in a town close to the ntcc national campground. I don't know how things are in your world, but most people agree that when you have a wife who doesn't work (since the org. forbids married women [in the U.S.] to hold paying jobs) and you have four children, money can be tight. Did the org. offer to help Rich Hampton make this move? Nope. So he put his home and land on the market. Did ntcc recognize his dedication to God and commend him for making such a sacrifice? Nah. Instead, according to Vic Johanson, they tried to low-ball him by offering him less-than-market value on his property. When he refused to sell to the ntcc, Eli (Elliot) Gesang got all upset
So what does this have to do with Linda Hasty? You may ask that. But it has everything in the world to do with Linda. The fact is, the org. called ntcc cares nothing at all for you. They have demonstrated it over and over again throughout the years. The Hampton's Homeless illustration is just one of many ntcc stories of abuse. So I am well within the mark to wonder about Linda Hasty and how she has been treated by this real estate corporation that masquerades as a non-profit church called New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc. LLC.
I also wondered, today, if the org. had convinced Linda to relocate. My first three guesses would be Graham, WA, St. Louis, MO, or Phoenix, AZ. If not, my next guess would be that the org might send in a few carefully selected single brothers to take over the Louisville ntcc church, or send some revival preaching divorced brothers in hopes of match-making this widow as quickly as possible, to keep her in the organization while freeing the church from having to provide for her. That sounds nasty, doesn't it? Well, don't hate us. I mean, you can if you want; but truly the hate or blame should be aimed at the perpetrators who do such things, the ntcc 'leadership'. They really do match-make people and manipulate relationships as a reward or bonus to keep certain individuals in the borg. You don't think so? Think again. Open your eyes. Why do you think so many of you men have been single for ten, twenty, thirty plus years, while davis and kekel kronies who work in the office or on the building crew have two or three ntcc brides? Hmmn? Why does the borg require you to get permission before speaking to members of the opposite gender? Why does the ntcc regulate dating down to a controlled conversation on a wall in the fellowship hall? It is manipulation. Please don't try to tell me they are trying to protect you. That is such a lie. They have repeatedly covered up situations of spouse and child abuse; and that has been testified to on the various blogs and Factnet (see related posts at the bottom of this article for more info). They don't care about you. Single women are used like a bone for a dog, to be a reward for the men the ntcc wants to keep around. Period. The non-existent dating situation in ntcc is so bad, and without any Christian integrity. Men have literally lined up to get permission to talk to women whose husbands are separated but not divorced. That's not Christian. Neither is the ntcc system.
So, I certainly did wonder how Linda Hasty is doing and how the borg is trying to handle her. From past experience I have witnessed numerous times all of these things described here. My questions are legitimate and without malice. I sincerely wonder how is this widow woman doing? From what I have seen in the past, I fear for what the ntcc may try to do to her, when instead they should be caring for her. But caring for the widow, fatherless and orphan is not the ntcc way. And if they have repented and done something right, then thank an Xer for eXposing the ntcc skeletons and shaming them into repentance!

Most ntcc'rs and even some Xers, if asked would say that our blog is full of hate. I've got to the point that I just don't care what people think any more. We will continue to speak the truth and if they can't handle it, too bad. We are not the ones that are calling ourselves "holiness preachers" and conning people out of their hard earned money. We are not the ones that are sucking the life out of whole congregations while we enjoy the very best things in life. We are not the ones that make a living out of blasting people while hiding behind a bully pulpit and committing worse sins than the church members are. We are not the ones collecting tithe and purchasing every creature comfort imaginable for ourselves while the people paying into the kitty struggle and live below the poverty level; fearing pending judgement if they don't give all to the hypocritical, whore mongering, divorcing, family splitting, cheating, lying, conniving, Pharisaical Con-artist.
The ntcc leadership does not invest themselves in transparency or having a good name. They spend their efforts discrediting those of us that are not afraid to speak out against them. If we offend some of you ministers or ministers wives, well boo hoo. So sorry. As a very good blogging friend used to say, "This is my pulpit". They are not afraid one bit to call out names during conference to publicly humiliate folks, why should we whimper around afraid to call these hypocrites out?
We endeavor to present the truth as has been shared by many witnesses. I've gotten things wrong before and when it was brought to my attention, I have made the appropriate corrections. We are not under the ntcc rules anymore and if they had an ounce of honesty or decency, this is an open forum and they are more than welcome to apologize to any one of the hundreds of people they have used and abused over the years. They won't do it because they are too proud and arrogant. We might be wrong 1% of the time, but we are right on the money most of the time, but unlike the ntcc, we are honest and like us or not, you will get our heartfelt best every time we blog.
Ntcc'rs, we have nothing but love for you. We hope and pray that you will escape from the cesspool of hypocrisy that surrounds you. You were taught to be critical of every other religion, denomination and anyone who claims to be a Christian. Use that same critical thinking to examine the lives of those who supposedly care for your soul. The same preaching that is aimed at you is not being adhered to by the very ones that jack you up all the time. Pray for eyes to see, ears to hear and a gut instinct that will tell you when things are wrong. Find your way out of the maze you are trapped in, and you will save yourselves years of grief.
I can remember sitting through many a sermon with RW Davis talking about how he had to endure so much in the way if hardship. How that the people that he was preaching to believed in "Keeping the preacher poor and humble", How when he was praying after service he would have to turn facing away from the people because he had holes in his shoes. I can go on to the point of nausea. EVERYBODY at some point and juncture in their lives can tell these kinds of "war stories" is my whole point. I know that he is saying all of these things to illustrate a point, But looking at the map of his life like I would a river, tracing it's tributaries and going back to the source I believe that it is fair to say that any hardship that he may have endured was short lived, and he has had it easy for many, many years longer than he ever had it hard. He is supposed to have been a Christian for what, about 60 years? OK. Let's take that. For at least the last 40 years life has been pretty good to him. He is a millionaire many, many times over. Whenever he preaches, I just wonder if he is still telling the same old stories that he told 30 or 40 years ago?
ReplyDeleteDnA - I have been SO busy and it's all good/great. God has been good and blessing! I want to say that here for a few reasons, one so you know I'm still here and all is well! Two - because I want those who are looking for hope to realize God IS blessing us Xers - Post NTCC lifers! You see, God isn't just a God in ntcc. In fact, I'm pretty sure God is a very sad and dissapointed God IN ntcc. Nonetheless, God is a gracious and loving God no matter where we are.
ReplyDeleteI really liked what you said in your comment here and I really appreciated your "Forgiveness" post as well.
God loves us, God gives us forgiveness. We aren't here to hurt but to help. Can we just beg everyone enough to PLEASE see God doesn't call us the enemy, so why do you let the borg leaders convince you we are?
We love each and everyone of you! I had a GREAT conversation with a sister last night (who's only waiting on her husband to finally leave). He wants to BUT the mental beatings still have a hold on him. . . . he's coming along well though. She's been beaten verbally and brow beat because she doesn't go with him much to ntcc anymore (won't say more about it but she's doing well!) When she does go with him of course, the ?s where have you been etc. She's noticed people don't fellowship with them anymore b/c they know what she's doing. But the best part is, she's still there to #1 support her husband! and #2 she still loves all of the idiots that treat her like trash. She has the love of God and she commented how sad it is they don't have any real love there. All I can do is agree with that!
We all love and support you, ntccer who is looking for help and hope. You won't be condemned to hell for leaving. I promise you that!

Great comment. I also remember hearing him bloviate about the holes in his shoes and how humble he was to pray with his holy shoes concealed. I have to say that I had been around Davis quite a few times and not once have I ever seen him on his knees. I remember seeing him in one or two prayer meetings and he always was sitting in a chair watching everyone pray. Every once in a while he would let out a groan or two so that people would think he was spiritual.
If you take Davis at face value, he actually is one of the most carnal people you will ever meet. Many times when he used to visit the Servicemen's Homes, he would just sit and stare. He very seldom spoke of spiritual things and everyone that was in the room was intimidated by him and afraid to speak. His sole purpose in life seemed to be to spread oppression to the saints. I can't count the number of times that people would come into a service with joy in their hearts and after Davis got finished preaching, everyone was stressing over whether or not they would make it in the rapture.
Davis would zap the salvation right out of people. He was a lot like a high powered bug zapper. Just when you thought your church was growing and people were excited and spiritual, Davis would come by and start jacking people up like the Emperor in Star Wars with lightning shooting at everyone that he thought was happy and joyful. By the time he was done the altar would be full of sinners crying out for salvation, and I'm not talking about new people, but the ones that were already supposed to be saved were the ones praying for salvation.

Good for her. Her husband will see more salvation in her than he will see in the ntcc leadership. They will eventually break his spirit, if they haven't already, because that is what they do. He is lucky to have a wife that is wise enough to know what is really going on. Most Couples in the ntcc are both living in the delusion that God is only capable of blessing them if they surrender every aspect of their lives to the ntcc. This man has a wife that still loves God and supports him, but doesn't cave in to the ntcc's controlling influence. When this man eventually gets kicked to the curb, he will have a loving wife that will be ready to help pick up the broken pieces of his life and put them back together again.
What people go through in the ntcc is devastating. When you invest your time, energy, finances and heart into the ntcc, there will come a time when you need them the most and they will utterly fail you. What a huge let down it is to see such a huge investment wasted. Years of your life mean very little to them and when you are down and out, they will not be there for you. When you go to them for help in your most desperate hour, they will not only fail to be there for you, but they often will belittle you and mock you for your failures. You will become their enemy because you have nothing left that they want. They can no longer use you any more because you have fully spent yourself.
What a horrible situation to find yourself in. Many times people will go back to their families back home who still love them, but don't understand them. You lose everything when you leave the ntcc, and you have nothing. All of your friends are now enemies and you have no money, no career, no place to go, and many times no means to get there. One man shared with us that after giving years of his life, he asked Ashmore for forty bucks for a bus ticket home and Ashmore told him no.
Does any of this sound like Christianity? In the ntcc, you are either for them or against them. There is no room for individuality or personal freedom. If you do anything contrary to their man made rules, you will invoke their wrath. When you leave, they will wash their hands just like Pilate did and they will forget you forever.
If you are in the ntcc and you have a wife or husband that is not doing things the ntcc way, consider yourself lucky and thank God, because when your life becomes a train wreck, you will have a huge jump on getting things back to normal. Your loving spouse will be ready to pick you up in spite of all of the ntcc haters and will have a plan to help you get your life back on track.
We are praying for you, that God will continue to strengthen you in these difficult times.
I don't know that Eli got up in Rich's face about the property, but he spit and sputtered with indignation when he told me that Rich refused the NTCC offer and was looking elsewhere for more. He was seething, and prophesied that "he'll never get that price!"
ReplyDeleteIt sold about a week later.
Vic, Thanks for clarifying that. I had to go back and read your original comment to see why I thought Eli Gesang had gotten in Rich Hampton's face. I just thought that your original testimony was of seeing this conversation between Gesang / Hampton; but now, after re-reading the original comment, I see you were possibly describing a conversation you had with Gesang.

Here's a copy of Vic's original comment, which starts with him quoting someone else's comment:

"Not only were Rich and Diana homeless while trying to keep ntcc's church in Mexico, Missouri going; they were abandoned and mocked by those who were supposed to shepherd them."
I think it was payback. Rich Hampton refused the lowball offer the org gave him on his mobile home there at the corner of OK/210th. Eli Gesang was livid and openly condemned him for it, claiming that that property by all rights should go to the school, and that Rich was being greedy and would never get what he was asking. But it sold pretty quick. Then RW was preaching about someone selling a place and not paying tithe on it. So if any misfortune
befell them, I'm sure these 'leaders' just chalked it up to God and made sure not to interfere with the judgment being dished out. You know how they are.

Jeff,
I really think this whole story of Diana (Marshall) Hampton should be its own thread.
Diana, Mike, Rich, Penny and Jerry Duran combined probably had 80-90 or so years worth of slave labor invested in ntcc.
Think about it. Eighty to ninety years (combined) of peoples' lives invested in ntcc. (And I'm not including their kids lives either in that total).
And when they get in trouble, ntcc dumps them; and kicks them when they are down.
Not only are Rich and Diana and their four kids homeless, living out of someone else's garage; but davis knows about it and does nothing to help?
Rich and Diana have both lost their previous spouses to scandals that in my opinion were caused by ntcc's harsh treatment of their workers; then the situation was made worse, not better, when their so-called pastor got involved.
My opinion is davis deliberately does things to destroy people he considers competition for mike and tanya kekel inheriting the davis dynasty.
Not only were Rich and Diana homeless while trying to keep ntcc's church in Mexico, Missouri going; they were abandoned and mocked by those who were supposed to shepherd them.
And Mexico, MO is only fifteen miles from ntcc's campground where there are literally hudreds of empty beds and rooms, not counting davis own spacious ski-lodge that has six bedrooms with queen size beds, two and a half baths in the common areas, and a separate Master Suite with parlour, bedroom, and bathroom. There is also a fireplace and very large kitchen.
I'm sure Diana, who used to run her own bakery, would have loved to comfort her new family by baking for them. And they could have relaxed inside a clean building, not in a filthy garage like oily rags.
What will Jesus say to davis about his stewardship of all the things davis has appropriated over all the years???
How can davis and his so lightly throw away so many precious souls?
Why do people continue to stay in an organization that does this same thing over and over and over?
Do you really believe you will get better treatment? Do you think you have given more than the Marshalls and Hamptons and Durans and others that ntcc has trampled on during their hour of need?
Being a better prisoner of war is not going to stop those beat-downs you get.
Stop allowing this satanic cult to drain all your life from you and your families.
Your Friend Angela

Here's what we originally published in this article, based on our memory of Vic's original comment:
ReplyDeleteDid ntcc recognize his dedication to God and commend him for making such a sacrifice? Nah. Instead, according to Vic Johanson, they tried to low-ball him by offering him less-than-market value on his property. When he refused to sell to the ntcc, Eli (Elliot) Gesang got all up in his grill, upbraiding him for not selling his property to the ntcc. Does that sound Christ-like to you? Nope.
Perhaps that would best be stated thus:
Did ntcc recognize his dedication to God and commend him for making such a sacrifice? Nah. Instead, according to Vic Johanson, they tried to low-ball him by offering him less-than-market value on his property. When he refused to sell to the ntcc, Eli (Elliot) Gesang got all upset, upbraiding him for not selling his property to the ntcc. Does that sound Christ-like to you? Nope.
Anyway, you get the idea. Vic's comment was sufficiently ambiguous and no malice was involved in this interpretation.
The point is, gesang threw a tantrum. I thought that God commanded us not to covet our neighbor's goods?
