Hope And Healing - Kat's New Blog For Xers and All

Hey Everyone!  Kat's got a blog and it's really nice.  She's embarking on the journey of bringing Hope and Healing to all.  We know the ntcc system of rules has lots of folks scared that they cannot be a Christian anywhere else.  Well that's just not so; and Kat does a real good job of breaking it down, using simple bible truths to show how Jesus loves you and your families.  You can check it out and leave a comment @

  1. Thanks for sharing DnA - you guys are awesome! I really apreciate you both =). I want to help as well. If we all just get the word out there, let people know the truth then let them know there is hope for healing and that there is a real, loving God of grace.

  2. Thanks Kat! I tried to leave a reply on your blog this morning; but it got deleted when I hit the publish button. Not sure why, but I think it has to do with a conflict between the browser and certain templates. My Google doesn't love the comment boxes when they are embedded below the post. But, there are other ways of getting things done: :-)

  3. hmmmm and urrrggghhh LOL - I will have to spend more time on it - I was spending more time looking at the templates and said I really should've gone with the pink (My favorite color) but I didn't want every guy to be like OOOOH COOTIES - it's a girly blog and leave LOL so I stayed nuetral with a nice blue tone.

I'm learning it. I saw something in the layout about putting the comments on the side vs. bottom etc. I'll have to see if I can get it fixed in a bit. Thanks for letting me know!! =)

  4. Scripture of the day:

    Job 15:34

"For the congregation of hypocrites [shall be] desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery."

  6. as a former member of ntcc. I use to hear davis and others preach and say awful, and humiliatingly things to members/students such as white trailer trash or nigger, or whore and he would quickly follow it up by saying if i got your goat then you are not saved, and you need to get right with Gawd and everyone would be cheering and shouting, and saying amen, and preach it pastor. Now i wonder and ask the question what does belittling someone has to do with Salvation and where is the love it that type of preaching?

  7. DISAAPOINTED makes a very good point. If God is love, as the bible says, godly men and women should be loving and kind. The bible says,

[Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Rom 12:10

That does not leave room for name-calling and bashing that the ntcc leaders always do.

My first visits to other churches after I left ntcc really opened my eyes to the reality that real Christians, especially the pastors, are very nice people. They do not scream at their congregations.

But, sadly, ntcc pulpiteers (for lack of a better word), routinely scream, belittle, berate, demean, revile, and verbally abuse the Lord's congregation. Jesus said,

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. Matt 25:40
