The Silence of Fear

 The Scream by
 Edvard Munch
Have you ever had a dream that you were so scared you couldn't move?  Something so terrible happens and you can't move or speak.  You know you should say or do something but there is so much fear that you freeze in silence.  Fear is a controlling force that causes people to seize up and silences them permanently.

In the ntcc fear is instilled into the hearts of believers from day 1.  Heaven and hell are preached as they are in many organizations.  When people realize that God has saved them from hell they become grateful.  They realize how real heaven and hell are and there is a natural and Godly fear that is present at all times in their life.  When you think about the enormity of spending eternity in a place called the lake of fire, anyone in their right mind would be scared silent.  In the ntcc hell is spoken about frequently and many rules are introduced.  For every rule there is the ultimatum that comes along with it.  Would you rather die and go to hell?  Would you rather spend eternity in the lake of fire?  While you are in the ntcc you are taught to invest your time and finances to the program of God.  You are also taught to forsake your friends and family.  Please hear this part above all that is said in this paragraph.  YOU ARE TAUGHT TO FEAR AND REVERENCE THE CHURCH LEADERS.  They emphasize obedience to your pastor.  They emphasize not questioning your pastor.  They take scriptures out of context saying "Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm".  Along with tithe this is one of the most preached concepts that the ntcc devotes most of it's time towards.  They want you to fear them as much as you fear God; and this strategy works real good and has kept people from sharing the truth for so many years.  People leave the ntcc; yet they will be silent forever because of fear.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear has torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18
There are people that have left the ntcc that are scared silent.  They will not share their stories because of fear.  People have shared things with us and we remain silent not out of fear but because we will not betray their confidence.  They have knowledge of things that can help people that are going through the same things that they went through.  There are people in the ntcc right now that are reading these blogs and they are afraid to do anything.  If they leave they feel they will die and go to hell.  They are trapped in a world of fear.  They do not think there is salvation outside of the ntcc.

People are starting to come forward in larger numbers.  They are realizing that if they stand silent the very rocks will cry out.  This is crucial to freeing people from the bondage they are in.  The more they hear true stories, the more they will realize where true freedom comes from.  Salvation is calling your name.  God does not want you to live in fear.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7
We are not scared of the ntcc any more.  We have decided to take the fear that they used to control us and turn it against them.  They are the ones that should be afraid.  When you abuse the calling that God has placed in your life and use this calling to tear down and destroy those that God loves, you should be afraid, not us.  When you ruin peoples lives for filthy lucre and discard them when you are finished, you are the ones that should live in fear.  Who do you think God is going to forgive first?  The pharisee that says, "I pay tithes and give in offerings, I go soul winning and attend all church functions.  I thank God that I am not as these sinners. I do this and do that."  Or perhaps it's that hurt and tormented soul that will not even so much as look unto heaven that says, "God forgive me, a sinner".  I'm telling you that it's the ones that have been despised by the religious hypocrites of the ntcc that God wants back.    God can save a thousand X-ntcc members that have lost their way easier than he can save a self righteous ntcc leader that thinks he has done no wrong and that everyone owes him their loyalty and trust. You should be afraid ntcc leaders that strain at a gnat and swallow a camel.  You that base your doctrine on all the things you can't do and have omitted the love, mercy and grace of Christ. You should be afraid every waking moment of your life because you have placed stumbling blocks in front of others and used your office deceitfully.  You despised the poor and the weak while living in luxury.  You laid up riches for your own prosperity at the expense of those who gave everything.  You should be the ones living in fear but your covetousness and pride, your greediness and need for power blind you from what God originally planned for your life.
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. Thomas Jefferson
We urge people to be honest and to break the silence.  Tell your life story because it may be the only story that can reach people that once loved you and shared your plight. When you do this you will find freedom and healing as we and many others have.  Fear is a terrible thing.  If it's allowed to control you and make you silent, you will always be a slave to it.  Honesty is speaking the truth to friends and loved ones.  If you know that someone is lying in wait to hurt or destroy someone you care about and you do nothing out of fear, you become guilty along with those that perpetrate the fear and silence.  We care about many that are still in the ntcc and we are here to admonish you to escape from this destructive church.  The longer you stay the harder it will be to leave.  It's time to turn fear against your enemies and break the silence.

  2. Anonymous, we read the article that you left an address for. Here it is in link form: Touch Not Mine Anointed

The author made some excellent observations. We're working on a thread based off of that work; but it will have to receive their permission before we may publish. Thanks for the info.

  3. Great article, would be worth getting permission to use here. Once you leave NTCC, you have to learn to search the Scriptures, sad but true.
