Would Jesus Wear A Rolex? What Would Jesus Do?

Here in our little corner of cyberspace we blog about our experiences in the ntcc; and we share stories of what we have endured and what others have endured as members of a destructive cult, the New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc.  NTCC / NTCCA.  The average person, who has no experience in a cult, probably doesn't understand much of what we write.  To the 'leaders' of the ntcc, these blogs are a threat.  The members of the ntcc that follow these 'leaders', are warned not to frequent our blogs.  These faithful followers of men are told that we eX-members of ntcc, the Xers, are "evil" and "full of hate".  But that just ain't so.  And,  despite these worthless warnings, there are many people 'IN' the ntcc that want to hear what we have to say; and they read or follow the Xer  blogs.  Many times people have looked at what we do as hateful, unnecessary, and evil, saying that we are "bitter" and "need to get on" with our lives.  That's just more of the loaded cult jargon they have been programmed to regurgitate.    There are many who anonymously insult and try to refute us.  They do so anonymously; because they don't want to get caught participating on a blog that speaks out against the ntcc and because they have been ordered to stay off the blogs.  There disobedience to unlawful orders is encouraging.  We were once a part of this group.  We know that once they start reading the blogs, it is just a matter of time (on average 7 years), and they too will be blogging against the ntcc false doctrines and fake religious 'leaders'.  We understand.  We are here to share the truth with people so that they don't make the same mistakes that we did.  Instead, they can free themselves from the ntcc bondage and enjoy Christianity without legalistic leeches pumping them from the pulpit for more cash to fund the insatiable appetites of the materialistic ntcc 'leaders'.

Spending years of your life in a cult is a mistake of disastrous proportions.  This is very hard to see when you are a member of a church that proclaims they are "the last hope for a lost and dying world"; and you are convinced that the ntcc is God's only church.  Obviously we are the last people that someone in the ntcc would want to listen to; because we have been demonized by the ntcc leadership as God haters and reprobates.  We are not here to try to get you to stop serving God or to tell you how to live.  And, because our credibility has been damaged by the ntcc in the eyes of many that read, we ask you not to believe us, but to believe the bible.  We ask you to take a look at the words and actions of Jesus, and the disciples who followed him, and the people whose lives were touched by him.  Try to put aside your bias and everything you've heard about us and just compare the ntcc with the New Testament Church found in God's word.  A common teaching in many churches to include the ntcc is to ask the question what would Jesus do?  Let's look at what Jesus did and what the ntcc is doing.

Jesus did not seek wealth nor did he live in luxury.

Mat 19:21  "Jesus said unto him, if thou wilt be perfect, go and sell what thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me".

The ntcc is supposedly a non-profit; but the leadership has benefited financially. Did you know that the borg buys a new Cadillac every year for R W Davis and the Board Members cars are also purchased by the NTCC?  Did you know that the Kekel's have been seen driving around in very expensive cars?  Did you know that RWD is trying to get ministers to take up a collection to buy him a Presidential Rolex watch at the price of nearly $20,000.00?  Did you know that most of the ministers in the ntcc have no health or life insurance policies; because they can't afford them.  And for years ntcc 'preached' against insurance for the non-board members. Most ministers in ntcc have very little or no savings of any kind; but much of the money that they did have has gone to support the selfish and materialistic life styles of the so-called 'spiritual' 'leaders' of the ntcc. Did you know that most ministers in the ntcc put everything they have into the churches they are assigned to in hopes of reaching the lost?  Meanwhile most of their tithe dollars end up in Graham, WA, supporting the luxurious life styles of the rich and infamous 'leaders' they follow.  Does any of this sound like behavior that you would find in the first four books of the New Testament?  You know; the red letter section of the bible?  What would Jesus do?  Do you realize how far these 'leaders' are from doing what Jesus would have done?

Mat 8:20   "The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the son of man hath not where to lay his head."

A homeless man laying down on a cold public bench. Jesus was homeless. Do you think He would cross the street to avoid the homeless? Or do you think Jesus would have compassion and feed the homeless with bread and fish?
The ntcc is supposed to be a Christian church; and Christ often spoke of helping the poor.  ntcc preaches against helping the poor!  They teach their ministers "We don't do that."  It's even part of their doctrinal statement.  davis has lectured not to bring the homeless or poor to church, saying "You don't build a church that way!"  Also, did you know that the ntcc has no known charities that they give to?   And the borg 'leaders' are completely unaccountable to anyone as to where money actually goes?  Did you know that the ntcc has taken up offerings for specific purposes and spent that money on other things without being transparent?  Receiving money under false pretenses is illegal.  Do you really know where all of your World Missions dollars are going or have gone?  Do you trust somebody that requires you to give until it hurts while they have sacrificed nothing?  What has Kekel ever sacrificed?  Do you see a pattern here?  Do you really think that Jesus is pleased with this?

Mat 23:3   All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Jesus and his followers were real.  They warned of hypocrites that would come and pervert the word of God.  Jesus warned us of people that would talk a good show; but their works would be contrary to their speech.  Did you know that RWD and Kekel have required much more of their followers than what they are willing to live themselves?  Did you know that many ministers in the ntcc have not sought higher education and that they have restricted their own children from educational opportunities while Kekel's son and RWD's Grandson has been attending the most prestigious private schools, academies and colleges in the country, on your dime?  Did you know that many of you that have deprived your children of their futures by not allowing them to participate in activities such as sports, have taken money that could have gone towards your own child's college education and given it to the ntcc so they could spend it on Grant Kekel's future?  Here is a small list of the fraction of rules that the ntcc has required of you, but they themselves have broken these rules, because they say and do not.

devilvision ^.".^
1.  Watching TV used to be a sin and was preached against.  The Television was referred to as the Devil-vision.  Kekel allowed his son to watch DVD movies on his computer monitor; and now many preachers have favorite movies listed on their facebook pages.  RWD told MDR to turn his hotel TV around; so he could watch it.  This after years of preaching against TV!  They say and do not.

sinner-net
2.  The internet was referred to as the Sinnernet.  The internet was preached against; and people were blasted for surfing the Web.  People were falsely accused of looking at porn so the ntcc could keep people offline.   But now the ntcc runs many blogs and websites; they are on FaceBook and Twitter.  They use the internet for damage control to contradict our blogs that expose them for what they are:  Hypocrites who preach against the very things they do and demand that others do what they won't (like soul-winning).  They say, and do not.

3.  Women have been told that they are supposed to be in subjection to their husbands; that they are not to have jobs; and that they are not to usurp authority over men.  Tanya Kekel has a job that involves usurping authority over bible school students; and women overseas have been told to get jobs to help support their husbands' ministries!  I guess God was not able to provide.  They say and do not.

4.  Women are not allowed to wear make up while the Executive Board members' wives wear foundation to cover their rosie cheeks and wrinkled faces.  Many women were brought to tears because they were blasted for wearing make-up.  They say and they do not.

5.  Jewelry was preached against and forbidden to the average church member while many of the Pastors in the ntcc were prodding their church members to buy them 7 diamond cluster pinky rings and Rolex watches while Board members' wives would wear broaches and trinkets on their clothing and shoes.  Can you see the hypocrisy?  What would Jesus do?  I guarantee you that he wouldn't be hanging around folks like RWD and Kekel.

We could go on and on and write volumes on this subject.  We hope that you would take an honest look at what the ntcc leaders are all about.  Search the scriptures and see if you can find examples of the excess that we see in Graham.  None of the apostles lived in excess and what we see in the ntcc is contrary to the Word of God.  There are many people who have left the ntcc who have realized they were in a cult.  Where double standards exist, you will find profiteering.  Where rules are enforced by those who themselves disregard them, you will find hypocrisy.  Tell me that Jesus would condone this.  Somebody please come on this blog and tell me that Jesus is pleased with the ntcc and what they have become.  Show some examples of how the ntcc leadership has sacrificed and helped the poor and done the things that Christ would do.  They are hearers of the word and not doers.  They are like whited sepulchures which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are dead men's bones.  They take advantage of your good nature and Christianity and have used it to become wealthy.

Next time you have questions about the sincerity for your leaders, just ask, What would Jesus do?  Next time you get raked over the coals for something that is not in the bible, see if you can find a precedent in the New Testament that supports it.  It's really simple.  Did Jesus care what people looked like?  He preached against what the Pharisees wore (long robes, broadened Phylacteries), but didn't tell people what to wear.  Don't let some hypocrite dictate standards to you.  If it's in the bible trust it, if it's not in the bible, ask yourself, is this something that Jesus would require?  What would Jesus do?

  1. Here's a copy of MDR's comment:

Anon asked "Chief, are you saying that RW was given a Rolex watch from his pastors running various churches..."

Anon, The Rolex was given to RWD by his board members. RWD, on more than one occasion, showed me the watch and made it clear to me that it wasn't the model that he wanted. He wanted the "Presidential" model.

Ron Denis was the one commissioned with the purchase and delivery of the watch to RWD. I wondered if Denis gave him the Jubilee model on purpose. Just before I left the org, K Gandy contacted me, along with a lot of other pastors about purchasing the “Presidential" model for RWD, which I was prepared to go along with. Somehow Gandy knew that RWD wanted this other Rolex model.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if RWD receives the "Presidential" model, he will probably pass that other $10,000.00 watch down to schmekel or even Grant

  2. Great article you guys. This kind of thing should really wake people up but unfortunately it often doesn't. Repetition is a good thing. RWD even wanting a Rolex Presidential watch is ridiculous. There are some many other things that money could be spent on. When you look at a Rolex like that, you are looking at jewelry, not a watch. That Rolex is way past being "just" a watch. It's situations like this that make me wish I'd not given one dime to the NTCC. RWD and his people just blow it quite often. If my money is going to be blown, it's going to be blown on me and my family, not RWD and Schmekel. A presidential Rolex is at that very bottom of my list of things to purchase. In fact it's simply not on the list.

The reason RWD wants one so much is because he's been given everything else he could dream of and as a result, old RDoublecross has taken this gift giving business to a whole new level. Forget a normal watch. Such things are of no interest to him. He wants a $20,000 piece of jewelry that keeps the time.

  3. Thanks, Chief. Repetition is a good teacher. And you make a good point about not needing a Rolex. davis already scammed one Rolex off of the backs of struggling ministers; but that wasn't good enough. Now he's gotten so greedy he wants to get them to buy him another one that is more expensive??? Come on.

The ntcc is so corrupt. The only time they pretend to release any financial information is when they are doing damage control. kekel will do some lame piece on his blog about how much money they spent on black top at the campground. But that little bit of disinformation is just smoke and mirrors to distract people from the untold MILLIONS IN CASH that disappear into the ntcc and davis dynasty and kekel kompany.

God does not want you to give to a corrupt group that hides its financial dealings.

  4. Thanks for all the good info. I met with the Reeds and Armers who went to Eugene for a fellowship meeting. They said it was great! We met in Portland on their way home. We had a great time- sharing the goodness of the LORD. Praise the name of JESUS!

  5. Hey Darwin, it's great to hear from you again. It sounds like you had a great time. It's good to see genuine people get together and fellowship without having to walk on egg shells all the time. I knew the Reeds and Armers when I was in the org. and they were always good folks to be around. It's a good thing when good people get out from under the control of bad people with less than honorable motives.

We are all survivors of a pretty bad experience and when you see folks out there making something good out of it, it's very encouraging. We hope that everyone that is able can get together and fellowship and encourage one another. I think that one of the things that scares people about leaving the ntcc is that they think they will be alone. We are not alone and we hope that people who escape are able to stay strong, and realize that the our strength is in God, not in the ntcc. Thank you Darwin, very encouraging comment!

  6. Alone? Never alone! Wherever corruption, tyrrany and injustice may exist- a Savanarola will arise who will shout out Luke 16 or James 2:1-9. Thank you! for your labors in keeping this blog alive. Proverbs 21:30: There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. Rev 3 "...I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.... now what group does THAT sound like? I ask you all...

Thanks Darwin for your words and the scriptures that you shared. I had a bible study while reading your references and this scripture really stood out. Taking a further look at this verse other references stood out. Here are a few examples of counsel that stood in the opposition of God.

    1. Pharoah - Exodus 1:10 "Come let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land."

This is just like what Kekel is doing. He's a little concerned about those that have left getting together in Oregon. He knows that we which have left are more than they which have stayed and he wants to deal with the coming Exodus by discrediting those who have already found freedom from their oppression. But this verse can be applied to Kekel, "There is no wisdom, nor understanding, nor counsel against the Lord". God brought his people out of Egypt and God will bring his people out of the ntcc.

    2. Balak - Numbers 24:10 "And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold thou hast altogether blessed them these three times."

This reminds me of how the ntcc leaders try to reach their tentacles into the lives of people that have left to curse them and destroy their reputations. I know they have succeeded in ruining many lives and there are multitudes that leave the ntcc and want nothing to do with God, because the ntcc has disgraced the gospel. But there is a remnant that have rejected the false teachings of the false leaders of the ntcc, and this remnant reached out to me and showed me that there is Salvation in Jesus. Out of the ashes, God saves. While the ntcc is in the business of running people off, destroying their reputations and credibility, and disfellowshiping people, God is going to turn it all around on them because they are against the Lord.

  8. Continued.....

    3. Ahaziah 2 Kings 1:9-17 Too much scripture to quote, but look it up and you will find the story of King Azariah, who was at war with Moab and fell through a lattice. He sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub as to whether or not he would recover from his sickness. Elijah met those messengers and told them that the king would surely die. Well these were not the words Azariah wanted to hear so he sent a captain of fifty to order Elijah to come down, and we know that Elijah called fire down from heaven and destroyed this captain and his fifty and another captain and his fifty and finally the third captain realized that this was of God and fearing for his life he asked Elijah to come down nicely and Elijah did because God allowed him to. In the end Elijah delivered the message to the king in person and Azariah died.

This again is how the ntcc acts when they can not have their way. They resist God by fighting against those that leave. It's not enough that they have abused and hurt so many of God's children but they do everything in their power to stop what God is doing outside of their controlling empire. But this is futile opposition and it will not succeed.

    4. Sennacherib - 2 Chronicles 32:21 "And the Lord sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword."

God turned the counsel of Sennacherib against him because he insulted God and the people of God. The King of a huge empire went against a smaller group of God's people, but they were going against God, and nobody can stand against God. It's not enough that the ntcc has twisted the scriptures and beaten down so many good men and women, but they are not satisfied with this. They know that when people leave and get together outside of their control that there is little if anything that they can do stop God. I believe that their counsel will be turned against them. As they are so fond of saying, "The wheels of God's judgment turn slow, but they turn for sure".

    5. Haman - 2 Chronicles 7-10 "So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified."

One more example, we all know the story. Things looked hopeless for Ester and Mordecai but they were 2 people that God used to confound the counsel of the wicked. The ntcc has chosen the wrong battles and they are fighting against the wrong people.

As weak as people in the X-er community might seem to be, there are more voices and more people that are standing up for what is right. We don't have to be beaten down any more by the ntcc. They only have power over us if we give it to them. We don't have to believe their lies any more. We don't have to allow them to break our spirits any more because as much as they would like to continue to control us, they can not reach into our lives and force us to live by their double standards. It's backfiring on them and the more they fight they will lose.

  9. You are very well versed in scripture. I found out that I knew very little about God while in NTCC. We certainly did not know the Bible. It was like I had to start fresh. 90% of what NTCC was teaching was valueless to the rest of (YES) Christianity. Won't those leaders be shocked at the Judgment Seat? I can hear Bro. Gaylord crying out "REPENT NTCC!" It IS NOT ABOUT MONEY!

Thanks for the compliment, and you are right about knowing very little about God in the ntcc, but I feel like I am just starting to learn what so many people already know.

I think when most of us first got started so much of it seemed real to us as new Christians. I read the bible once a year in the ntcc for quite a few years, and knew what it said fairly well. The problem was that the ntcc translated the bible for us in a way that we stopped learning for ourselves and we bought in to the ntcc's version of lies.

The ntcc twisted, added to and took away from God's word. We were made to ignore the most important attributes of God. Sacrifice and giving money and time were emphasized as more important than loving our neighbor and giving to the poor, the widow and the fatherless. Mercy, love and grace were replaced by hell, fire and brimstone. Incentive was replaced by fear. Brotherly love was replaced by "Work out your own salvation".

The ntcc has a very condescending attitude towards others and they incorporate their rules and policies of control into their system of supposedly bible based beliefs. Many people that leave the ntcc, believe that they'll never be able to get back to god unless they come grovelling back to the ntcc. That couldn't be further from the truth. The ntcc has never saved one soul, so the one we need to come back to is God, not the ntcc.

Getting to your comment Darwin, when you get away from all the rules and manipulation of the ntcc, and clear your mind from the control that they had over you, we become a lot more educated in God's word. When we read and live the bible without the ntcc's man-made rules and take it for what it says, we really learn a lot about Christian life and what is really important. I know so much more from what I've read in the past year than I ever knew in the thirteen years I was in the ntcc. I don't limit God anymore. I don't use the bible to eliminate other people from heaven and to look down my nose at others. I look at my own life and apply what God deals with me about to my own life and pray for others.

Guess, what? I can knock on a million doors, I can convince people to give every spare dime they have to an organization and I can follow every rule the ntcc invents to the T, but without love we are nothing. I can wear a white shirt and wingtips, I can shave my face every day, I can go "soul-winning" till my feet fall off, I can give every last dime I have, I can fast, pray and read till the cows come home but if there is not love or compassion in my heart for the homeless, the broken hearted, the drunk and the prostitute, and all I care about is some fat money grubbing preacher in Graham that is using me to become rich, the bible is nothing but a bunch of words on paper. They are so limited in what they believe.

When you come out from among them you begin to learn and grow. It's not all about rebuking people for every reason under the sun. I'd rather have hair on my face than to have blood on my hands. I'd rather miss an ntcc church service than to watch a grumpy, growling and snarling preacher blast someone from the pulpit for not giving their 10%. They strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. You have to dress like the Amish but you can't spend any of your time or money helping kids in an orphanage. Souls are lost and on the way to hell. They are hypocrites. Women can't have a job because their purpose in life is to clean toilets and cook supper. They preach the same thing over and over. They are void of understanding.
