The Love Of Money Is The Root Of All Evil 1 Tim 6:10 |
Tithe and Offerings:
I do not have a problem with tithe, offerings, home offerings, world missions, building funds, revival funds or any other "needs" that require giving. I do have a problem with the way these funds are extracted out of the member with a giving heart. First of all they say, "All Christians pay tithe and give in offerings". This is a lie that is not supported by scripture. Those ntcc pastors that preach this as scripture are simply lying to their congregations and taking the blessing of giving away from the giver. Not only do they preach that all Christians pay tithe and give in offerings, they also use pressure tactics to extract money. "If you don't pay tithe, you will never be blessed." ... "If you don't pay tithe you will die and go to hell." What a mind game. Those of you ntcc pastors that preach this doctrine of condemnation please show us some scriptural references that support your claims. Could it be that your love of money outweighs your responsibility to preach the truth? Do you not believe that God is going to hold you accountable for everything you preach? I'm trying really hard to understand this. Is this one of those things that "God has to reveal to us"? Is it a new revelation that is being kept a secret from the rest of us?
"It's Got to be Revealed to You!" The Mystery of the Disappearing Escrow Funds:
I've kept church books at ntcc under several pastors; and I know about the escrow funds. In the trucking industry as an owner operator, when I lease on with a company, they require me to contribute to an escrow fund. This fund is deducted weekly out of my pay and put in an account. This fund is collected to cover any unpaid expenses that the company would incur if I damaged property or freight or were to quit with a negative balance. It's usually about $2,000.00 and when that figure is reached it sits in that escrow account until I quit working for that company at which time it is refunded to me. Just out of curiosity, how many pastors have contributed to the ntcc escrow fund? How many of those have received a refund of that money when they left to another work? If the answer to the latter question is zero, where did all of that money go? Is that something that "has yet to be revealed to us"? I think the only reason that you are allowed to get away with this is that all that have given into this escrow are afraid to question the leadership. If they were to question the leadership, they would certainly die and go to hell. It would be quite a class action lawsuit if all of the contributors sued ntcc for those funds plus interest!
Runaway Giving with no Runaway Truck Ramp:
Many times in the servicemen's homes brethren gave way more than they could afford. Us New Testament Christians lived from payday to payday. After we gave tithe, offerings, home offerings, World Missions, Sunday Night Budget Offerings (can you believe we actually had budget offerings?), Building Funds, Revival Funds (to help out a rich board member with fuel expenses in their $300,000.00 motor homes. I remember any time the question was asked, "What kind of mileage does that thing get?", the standard ntcc answer was, "If you can afford to own one, you don't worry about the gas expense to drive it!" Well of course not, that money was being supplied by the members!) and any other offerings that they could dream up, plus the gas money you spent driving back and forth hauling people around for the "work of God" and the wear and tear on your car for the "work of God", and the money you spent on wingtips and white shirts, and the money you spent on paisley ties, and the money you spent on paying for your new "converts" Sunday brunch at the steak house (which was expected) and the money that some pastors actually had the audacity to teach that their members should spend on paying for the pastors' brunch at the steak house on Sunday. And the collections to buy 'pastor' another Rolex, because the ingrate wasn't satisfied with the model you already purchased him. And the collections to buy 'pastor' another diamond cluster, pimp daddy, pinky ring. And the collections to buy 'pastor' another new Cadillac since his last one had 50,000 miles on the odometer, or it was a new year, or mamma got tired of last season's color, whichever comes first.... I know that was a run on sentence; but do you get the picture?
ntcc is a run away money grubbing organization!
The End Result: Broke and Broken!
I remember doing the books for a church in Georgia; and things just didn't seem to add up. The 'pastor' was full time without enough members to support him. I was asked to get loans to support the work of God; because, even though I was giving a large amount to the church as an E-6 (Staff Sargent) in the Army, the church was floundering. I got myself in debt to help out but still this wasn't enough. I later found out that the 'pastor' was keeping a second set of books that he would show to board members when they came by. I knew the books were not right but did not have any evidence and wasn't going to rat him out without knowing what I was talking about. The preacher left the org prior to the next conference; and I had to go to a board meeting to explain what I knew about this. I wished that I had the intestinal fortitude to ask them about their irresponsible handling of money; but instead I told them everything they wanted to hear about this situation. Eventually I ended up in financial ruin and left the army under other than honorable circumstances because I blindly followed this cult and believed in its leadership. There are different levels of loyalty in which people pledge their lives to the borg, on a scale of one to ten, I was a twelve.
All I can do is learn from my mistakes and warn others. The ones that pledge the most of their finances, time and loyalty to this bunch are the ones that get hurt the most.

...guess that means the class action lawsuit is a "Go!"...
...which would mean the New Your Times nationwide story would also be a go...
Praise The Lord!
Didn't ntcc try to sue the owners of the ntcc eXposed website?

Don replies,
Thank you for your shallow comment. This is the type of ignorance I would expect to hear from an ntcc'r, probably a licensed minister. Did you get permission from your master to enter into the blogosphere? I could tell by the in depth comment you wrote that you probably didn't even have time to read the blog before you left your ignorant answer. At least you were brave enough to come on line anonymously and give us a piece of your mind, but I would ask of you to at least explain to us why the "leaders of the body of Christ" would collect an escrow account out of the preachers hard earned wages and not refund that money back to him, and then collect another escrow from the next preacher and not refund that money back? Or perhaps you can inform us as to what black hole the money got sucked into? You are more than welcome to come back at any time and explain this.

Don Replies,
You are absolutely correct, bitterness and gall never saves anyone. I respect your anonymity, sir, But why do you visit this site, anonymously? Could it be that you are harboring some bitterness and gall in your heart? If you respected the ntcc leadership you would no doubt obey their mandates and not visit X-er sites, or are you exempt from the rules like grant kekel? If you truly thought that we were evil, wouldn't the appropriate thing to do be to abstain from us? I'm puzzled here. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from being anonymous; many have suffered a lot in ntcc and do not want their identities to be known. Thats understandable and we want everyone to feel comfortable posting here.
If you are attacking us than be a man or a woman and let us know what is really on your mind. Do you think I'm bitter? Bitter is as Bitter does. The borganization called ntcc is bitter. Rwd and kekel are bitter, and they preach bitterness. As long as you believe them than I guess you will have that same bitterness in your heart towards everyone that is not in ntcc. We will always love you and welcome you back to our site, we even have church lizzards that show up every once in a while that will love you more than ntcc!

Don replies,
From the content of your message I can tell that you have motives and you have issues. You are not fooling anyone by your lack of punctuation and capitalization. The content of your post gives you away. Why, may I ask, are you so concerned about money and lawsuits?
Of all the things you've read, why do you keep bringing up lawsuits? Have you done something unlawful? If the so called "body of Christ" doesn't have anything to hide, you should welcome a lawsuit. I was a GI that sacrificed more time and money than most and I wish somebody would have sued your corrupt organization many years ago so I could have been saved from so much heart ache. Perhaps a lawsuit is what you need right now.
"he has apologized for the past how much more blood do you want from him"
Oh please. What apology? What blood? Trust me, there's been very little suffering in Graham. If you follow the money trail that starts from the sacrificing GI, it leads you right to the rich leaders of ntcc's doorstep.
"do not answer a question with a question"
Jesus answered the Chief Priests question with a question. They couldn't answer his question so He refused entertain theirs.

Wow this is cool. Just like the good old times with factnet. Every now and then an NTCCer decides to come to his leaders defense. Nothing wrong with that. All I know is I've been missing all the action. I don't check this blog for one day and world war three breaks out.
ReplyDeleteIt was cool to see old Vic chime in. Vic and I have spent a few days together in the blog trenches. We have fought quite a few written battles together side by side. Needless to say, for every one soul that may genuinely repent of his or her sins in the NTCC there are 1000 who get verbally abused so much that when they leave the NTCC they never want to attend church again in their life.
The NTCC does far more damage to souls than good. They do exactly what Jesus spoke of in Mat 23:15 "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."
That describes the NTCC soul winning program to a tee. From purely a Biblical standpoint, the NTCC does far more damage to souls than good.
Jeff
Wow, Jeff, you wrote exactly what I was thinking of writing, including quoting that particular verse! It is sad to see the predictable and programmed responses of the ntcc folks. So much of what they say is completely empty of any substance and merely cheap shot provocative babbling. It is not original or enlightening.
ReplyDeleteHow can they claim to be spiritual at all and yet don't understand the simplest truth of all:
Christ saves.
No one else saves.
Christ's work is finished.
He does not need me or my actions. He simply loves unconditionally.
In ntcc love is quite conditional and salvation is based on one's performance as anonymous proved with the typical ntcc rhetoric.
That spirit reminds me of this portion of scripture:
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
(Matthew 7v22-23)
There will, sadly, be people trying to tell God, "But I did these actions to save people. ... I have done many wonderful works."
And Jesus is going to tell them:
DEPART FROM ME YE THAT WORK INIQUITY; I NEVER KNEW YOU.
Legalism and works don't save. They KILL:
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
(II Corinthians 3v6)
Self righteousness, the bible records, is like used feminine hygiene products before the LORD.
But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
(Isaiah 64v6)
This anonymous poster shows the works=salvation mentality in the ntcc and sounds like a venomous troubled soul.
Maybe God will be able to do a work of salvation through grace in the anonymous poster's life; but I doubt it because it is written of the doctors of the law and Pharisees:
And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was [present] to heal them.
(Luke 5v17)
thus indicating their need for healing; but as you read the rest of the chapter, you see these same individuals accusing Christ of blasphemy.
Very sad to think they were so physically close to the Messiah, yet spiritually so far from Him.
Sounds so much like the pulpit bullies and anonymous snipers from the ntcc...

I understand your point however I don't suspect it's going to be a very smooth ride for anyone on judgment day. Of course Christ expressed a particular disdain specifically for "judgmental religious hypocritical folks like the Pharisees and NTCCers but that certainly doesn't give guys like me a bi.
Strangely enough I don't very often even consider what will happen to anyone during judgment day. I hope the NTCC folks get mercy because I certainly could use some. That does not however change the way I feel about most NTCCers. I just can't stand the way the act and the way they treat and have treated not only each other but other people. I can't stand their judgmental attitude.
Having said all that I don't hardly claim to be someone who is the authority on Christianity. I just know that many NTCCers act just like the Pharisees are described in the Bible. Christ didn't care for the Pharisees and I don't care for NTCCers. You are absolutely right; there is little or no substance at all to what they write. That is a fact. They also rarely are able to effectively back up "most" of what they write or say.

Do you not have respect for your pastor kekel? I can understand that, but why do you not capitalize Christ? That seems like utter disrespect to me. You have enough intelligence to make statements like "pastor kekel has a fresh vision for ntcc" and "how much more blood do you want from him".
These are not comments made from somebody with a third grade education but rather they are most likely coming from somebody close to rev. kekel with a small k. Are you trying to hide your style so that you won't be recognized? I purposely do not capitalize the k in kekel or the d in davis because I have no respect for them. They are cult leaders and ntcc is a cult. This is plain and simple.
When you don't allow friends from one church to have contact with friends from another church, you are a cult. When you dictate to people whom they are allowed to love, you are a cult. When it is a sin to buy and wear a t-shirt but they suck every dime out of you for tithe and offerings you are in a cult. When you are constantly held down and belittled for success because the leadership does not want you to be more successful then themselves, you are in a cult. When every facet of your life is under strict control, and there is no biblical reasoning then you are in a cult. kekel knows that ntcc is a cult and that his positions on these views are indefensible, and this is why ntcc'rs are not allowed to visit our blogs or be our facebook friends or have any fellowship with us. We are considered reprobates, apostates and infidels but all we are doing is exposing ntcc for being a cult. If they can make us out to be horrific then people will not be exposed to the truth that we are telling them about ntcc. If ntcc were not a cult then we would not have a compelling argument. If somebody can come on this blog and biblically support these positions then I will stop blogging about it but until then we will be here to shout it from the roof tops.
