"He loves a house more than God:" *Bonco* Mansions of kekel (l) and davis (r). Meanwhile, on the mission field: ntcc Missionaries to the Philippines "Rev. and Sis. Mackert ... found a place, 9 feet by 14 feet [9'x14'] and one bathroom. It is on the 6th floor and there is no elevator. The last place they had stayed, they had to share a common bathroom with the other tenants! Yikes! This place has their very own private bathroom, although the Rev. shared there is no seat on the throne, and no way to attach one…." from The Devonshire Files Sunday, May 28, 2006 Visit from the Mackerts (5/06). ** Should you know where the money ($$$$$) goes? **

Jesus In The Temple

Matt 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, Matt 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Gal. 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Skip To Blue Letter Bible Search Tool

Tim Tebow - All He Does Is Win by Skip Bayless on YouTube

We received this jewel from a friend and want to pass it on to you:

Veteran Of The Year Award

You'll be surprised at who this very proud person is; listen carefully to the speech made before the presentation and the recipient's speech, both are very powerful speeches.

Vet of the year award, you’ll be surprised!

Many people may have forgot about his time in the U.S. Army. He is the son of an Air Force General, and a accomplished Golden Gloves boxer; and he graduated from Pomona College with a B.S. degree. He then became a Rhodes Scholar from Oxford University. He joined the U.S. Army at the prompting of his father.

After graduating from Officer Candidate School, he attended and graduated from both Army Airborne and Ranger training, in the very top of each class. He was selected for U. S. Army Special Forces Training but refused so that he could attend pilot training, where he earned his wings, and became an accomplished U.S. Army helicopter (gun ship) pilot, and achieved the rank of Captain.

He was about to be promoted to the rank of Major, and appointed to teach at West Point when he resigned his commission from the Army to go into music and acting. You can tell in this video that his time in the military means a lot to him.

I won’t give away who it is. I bet you will be surprised!

Thanks to TB who shared a version of the previous video on Jeff's blog.
This is not mocking God.  It is making fun of people who make a mockery of the ministry by using God for their personal benefit.  Think about it.  Compare it to what you see in ntcc.  It is so similar.  Here are some quotes from the video:
"The Lawd uses that jacuzzi in mYsTeRiOuS ways!"
*m. c. kekel's mountain view estate off of 224th has a jacuzzi in it.*
"You got it all wrong! What I do is operate a trust fund for the Lawd!"
"Extravagant? Hmmpf! THIS Rolex is not extravagant.
It's the bottom of the line."
"The way through forgiveness is by giving."
"In order to be forgiven, you must go to
the root of the word: GIVE!"
--PRICELESS--
"Money orders only! No food stamps!"
*In ntcc it is CASH ONLY!  NO CHECKS*
*Don't want a paper trail of proof.*
*They don't have to give any account.*
*YOU have no idea where those millions$$ are going.*

 TAPS
According to WikiPedia, it is only urban legend "concerning the origin of "Taps". The most widely circulated one states that a Union Army infantry officer, whose name is often given as Captain Robert Ellicombe, first ordered the "Taps" performed at the funeral of his son, a Confederate soldier killed during the Peninsula Campaign. This apocryphal[5][6][7] story claims that Ellicombe found the tune in the pocket of his son's clothing and performed it to honor his memory. But there is no record of any man named Robert Ellicombe holding a commission as captain in the Army of the Potomac during the Peninsula Campaign.[8]"

We like the legend; but Wiki states:  "That Daniel Butterfield composed "Taps" has been sworn to by numerous reputable witnesses including Oliver Norton,[9] the bugler who first performed the tune. While scholars continue to debate whether or not the tune was original or based on an earlier melody, few researchers doubt that Butterfield is responsible for the current tune."
Whoever wrote it, TAPS is always moving, as in this rendition found on YouTube which asserts the lyrics (onscreen during the video playback) were written by Horace Lorenzo Trim and were meant to accompany the Taps melody thus:

 AMERICAN DREAM
 by CASTING CROWNS
Did you notice the Beamer in this video?  It looks like the BMW Casey Hayes described seeing the kekels driving around, when Casey came back (to the New Testament Christian Churches of America Seminary in Graham, Washington) after being a starving ntcc missionary in Puerto Rico...  It's good to know the ntcc can afford to buy expensive luxury cars and  motor homes Recreational Vehicles for its Executive Board Members for their private benefit; but ntcc cannot afford to take care of its missionaries' basic needs like food, shelter, or furniture???  Who is scamming whom here, folks?  Keep paying those 'mission fund' pledges.  The "World Missions Director" needs another $325,000 Recreational Vehicle to drive around in on vacation while drumming up more money for ntcc, a ?non-profit?  Meanwhile actual missionaries for ntcc report hardships like no food or furniture....

Vic Johanson said...
Well, I know that I paid for months on a pledge for Panama, only to find out that the work had been closed and NTCC had no one over there. When I busted them out, they acted all offended and came up with an interesting yarn about "escrowing" the money.
Seems like these "escrow" accounts are quite lucrative for them.

Van Thomas Barfoot - Medal Of Honor

Remember the Guy Who Wouldn't Take the Flag Down?
You might remember a news story several months ago about a crotchety old man who defied his homeowners' association and refused to take down the flagpole on his property and the large flag that flew on it...
Now you can find out who, exactly, that old man was:
  Van T. Barfoot

On June 15, 1919, Van T. Barfoot was born in Edinburg, MS -- probably didn't
make much news back then.

Twenty-five years later, on May 23, 1944, near Carano , Italy , Van T. Barfoot,
who had enlisted in the US Army in 1940, set out to flank German machine gun
positions from which fire was coming down on his fellow soldiers. He advanced
through a minefield, took out three enemy machine gun positions and returned
with 17 prisoners of war.
If that wasn't enough for a day's work, he later took on and destroyed three
German tanks sent to retake the machine gun positions.

That probably didn't make much news either,
given the scope of the war, but it did
earn Van T. Barfoot,
who retired as a colonel
after also serving in Korea and Vietnam ,
a Congressional Medal of Honor.

What did make news last week was a neighborhood association's quibble with
how the 90-year-old veteran chose to fly the American flag outside his suburban
Virginia home. Seems the rules said a flag could be flown on a house-mounted
bracket, but,  for decorum, items such as Barfoot's 21-foot flagpole were
unsuitable.

He had been denied a permit for the pole, erected it anyway and was facing court action if he didn't take it down.
Since the story made national TV,
the neighborhood association has rethought its position
and agreed to indulge this old hero who dwells among them.

"In the time I have left I plan to continue to fly the American flag without interference,"  Barfoot told The Associated Press.
  As well he should!

And if any of his neighbors still takes a notion to contest him, they might want to
read his Medal of Honor citation.
It indicates he's not real good at backing down!
Van T. Barfoot's Medal of Honor citation:
This 1944 Medal of Honor citation, listed with the National Medal of Honor
Society, is for Second Lieutenant Van T. Barfoot, 157th Infantry, 45th Infantry:

"For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and  beyond the call of duty on 23 May 1944, near Carano, Italy.
With his platoon heavily engaged during an assault against forces well entrenched on  commanding ground,
Sgt. Barfoot moved off alone upon the enemy left flank.
He crawled to the proximity of 1 machinegun nest and made a direct hit on it with a  hand grenade, killing 2 and wounding 3 Germans.
He continued along the German defense line to another machinegun emplacement, and  with his tommygun killed 2 and captured 3 soldiers.
Members of another enemy machinegun crew then abandoned their position and gave  themselves up to Sgt. Barfoot.
Leaving the prisoners for his support squad to pick up, he proceeded to mop up positions in the immediate area, capturing more prisoners and bringing his total count  to 17.
Later that day, after he had reorganized his men and consolidated the newly captured  ground, the enemy launched a fierce armored counterattack directly at his platoon  positions.
Securing a bazooka, Sgt. Barfoot took up an exposed position directly in front of 3  advancing Mark VI tanks.
From a distance of 75 yards his first shot destroyed the track of the leading tank,  effectively disabling it,
while the other 2 changed direction toward the flank.
As the crew of the disabled tank dismounted,
Sgt. Barfoot killed 3 of them with his tommygun.
He continued onward into enemy terrain
and destroyed a recently abandoned German fieldpiece with a demolition charge placed  in the breech.
While returning to his platoon position,
Sgt. Barfoot, though greatly fatigued by his Herculean efforts,
assisted 2 of his seriously wounded men 1,700 yards to a position of safety.
Sgt. Barfoot's extraordinary heroism, demonstration of magnificent valor,  and aggressive determination in the face of point blank fire are a perpetual inspiration to his fellow soldiers."

 SPIRITUAL HOMICIDE
How often have we seen the spiritual bullying that goes on in the ntcc?   In many ntcc churches the spiritual bullying goes on IN EVERY SERVICE.  Each service provides a new target of opportunity for a ntcc bully to lash out with brutal words that cut deep into the soul.  We've seen it so much we've become numb to it.
Unfortunately for those on the receiving end of these tirades, the numbness doesn't come.  Some still feel the pain years and years after having left the ntcc.  Some decide to make themselves numb the only way they know how.  We've read the accounts of the man who murdered his five year old son and pregnant wife before turning the gun on himself.  -- Moreno Tragedy Read Here.  And why?  Because of the constant belittling he received while in the ntcc.
Spiritual bullying is real in the ntcc.
The consequences are real, deadly, and eternal.
Think about what you see.
Try to step back and see it from the eyes of a first time visitor.
Do the typical ntcc bully-pulpit tactics really represent Christ?
Why be a part of that?

Then we which are alive [and] remain

 1 Thessalonians 4:17
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1 Corinthians 15:51-54

(55) O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory? (56)  The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law. (57) But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 KJV

FOR MAN GOETH TO HIS LONG HOME
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

With all the compromise, and the lack of true holiness, it would not surprise us to see ntcc cast off all pretense of Godliness and reduce their services to mere entertainment plus, "Let's receive the offering; because all Christians pay tithe and give in offerings."

SHINE by NEWSBOYS
This video, put together by a family that, to our knowledge, has nothing to do with ntcc, shows a simple family having fun with a song, a camera, and most importantly, each other.  We can say that during our 22 combined years in the ntcc, such simple pleasures were strictly forbidden to church members.  In the mean time, the ntcc 'borg' 'leaders' made sure that they took good care of their families.
The double standards, the hypocrisy, and the needless restrictions on simple family time in the ntcc really contradict God and good Christianity.  We have posted this video hoping you will see joy and love in action and will re-connect with your families and realize how much God loves you and your families and wants you and your families to ENJOY LIFE and BE FREE.
Thanks to the YouTube user, lkenoqueen1, and the featured family for reminding us of God's love!!!
