Jesus In The Temple

Matt 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, Matt 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Gal. 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Skip To Blue Letter Bible Search Tool

Starting Over

God does know what we go through.  He suffered for us.

Betrayed. Hurt by those who say they love you.  Broken.  Begin Again:

Are the ntcc Hucksters Lying and Stealing From You? Where have Millions in World Missions Funds Gone?

King 5 News in the State of Washington has recently reported a scandal that involved a lawsuit against the Pastor of the Mars Hill Church named Mark Driscoll who allegedly lied about where World Missions funds were going and stole large amounts of  money from Church members.  The lawsuit claims that less than 5% of the World Missions money was actually going towards global missions but rather it was being used to pay for a marketing campaign get a book on the New York Times best seller list authored by Driscoll called "Real Marriage" for personal financial profit.

King 5 Video Page click here to read the story and  watch their video.

The Mars Hill church, which is said to have about 13,000 members in various churches, receives about $300,000.00 per month for World Missions which they call Global Missions; but church members claim that only 5% of their donations actually went to the work that it was supposed to go towards.  If these allegations are found to be true, this religious huckster will have embezzled perhaps millions of dollars from good hearted people who thought they were giving to the work of the Lord.  Sound familiar?

The ntcc has taken up millions of dollars in World Missions pledges throughout the years; but where has the money all gone?  If you look at the actual assets that the ntcc owns over seas or listen to the testimonies of those who have suffered financial hardships in foreign countries there is no accounting for all the money the ntcc has received.  There is much more money tied up in the Kekel and Davis personal estates than you will find in any overseas outreach that the ntcc claims to be involved in.  Did you know that Servicemen's Homes overseas receive no money from the ntcc coffers?  The G.I.s and local ministers are expected to foot all the bills, even if it means having the local pastor's wife work on a job.  Davis used to call that "prostituting that woman" while Olson would schmooze the local pastor by saying, "Sometimes in the work of the Lord certain things are necessary."  In other words, the ntcc was talking out of both sides of their mouths!

We wonder if anyone in the ntcc cares about where their World Missions dollars have all gone?  We wonder if God has any good stewards that are willing to confront the talking heads in Graham, and ask them to account for the money they have received over the years.  Most likely there is nobody in the ntcc that has a spine or the stomach to demand true and complete financial transparency.  The ntcc should be hauled into court just like Driscoll and forced to give an account for what they have done with the money that was given to them over the years. God had Samuel confront Saul when he disobeyed the commandments of the Lord. God had the prophet Nathan confront King David when he committed adultery and murder. God's always had prophets that would keep the Rulers and spiritual leaders honest throughout the Old Testament and confront them when they did evil.  Is there anyone that has any God in the ntcc that will demand transparency from the ntcc Board Members?  Of course there isn't.  There never has been; because the ntcc rules them with an iron fist; and ntcc members are spiritually whipped and humiliated when they question their masters. They are like helpless dogs that are so afraid of getting beaten by their human owners that they cower down at the very sight of them.  Sorry if this offends anyone but it's true. Davis, Kekel, Olson and Ashmore were all greatly feared in the ntcc and very seldom were their motives ever questioned.  To this day we are not aware of anyone who is or was a current member, confronting Kekel or Davis about where Tithe or World Missions money actually went, nor have we heard anyone state that they asked to see any financial accounting.  Ashmore was asked by an Ex-minister to explain his knowledge of ntcc's financial dealings after he left the ntcc, but he played stupid and took everyone for a bunch of fools, telling them that he was unaware of any of the financial impropriety that was taking place in the ntcc.

Illegal Deposits under $10,000.00 (Structuring)
Watch on YouTube

The above video was taken from a miniseries called "The Assets" which was about the American traitor Aldrich Ames who sold information to undercover Russian agents that got many of our spies killed.  It was the structured deposits under $10,000.00 that gave the judge enough evidence to tap his phone lines which led to the arrest and conviction of Ames.  He is now serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole in a high security federal penitentiary.  It's almost always the money that leads to the arrest of high profile criminals.  They didn't have enough evidence on Al Capone to arrest him so they indicted him on Tax Fraud.  The ntcc might get away with a lot of crimes, but if they ever get caught it will most likely be something like illegal structuring or tax evasion.

We care about all the money that we wasted while we were in twenty years ago; but unfortunately we were just as brainwashed as some of you still are while we were in the ntcc.  We blindly trusted in the ntcc leadership to use our money for the work of God. We hope that someone in the ntcc will see this video and realize that they have both a right and a duty to know where their money is going.

Christianity for Dummies

Please don't get offended at the title.  If it makes you feel better, you can think of me as the dummy, because for so many years I was a big dummy in the ntcc.  It took a lot to figure out what was really going on.  I left the ntcc twenty years ago in 1996 and didn't really figure out that it was a cult until 2010.  I was as brainwashed as a person could possibly be.  They did a number on me.  Man, was I ever messed up.  My mind was completely full of mush and I believed everything I was told without really checking the facts.  But looking back, I wasn't the Lone Ranger.  We all drank the Kook-Aid and we all paid a price that we didn't have to pay.  The same can be said for so many people that got themselves involved in cults.

There are a lot of churches and every one of them has their own doctrine.  Each one believes that they are right.  So how is a Christian supposed to navigate through the maze of religion?  Your best chance is to ignore all of the churches and go to the source of our salvation which is Jesus and the words that He spoke. You pretty much have to believe the bible to be a Christian.  There are many who will dispute that; but we wouldn't even know about Christ if it were not for the bible.  There are many things in the bible that can be argued; and there are many who will twist the scriptures for their own advantage and unfortunately the ultimate goal for these people is money.  You can tell the importance of doctrine in many churches by how much they emphasize individual topics.

The ntcc emphasizes tithe more than any other topic in the bible, and that is why we remind people of that fact so frequently.  Everything that has to do with your Christianity in ntcc hinges on whether or not you pay tithe.  If you don't pay tithe, you will never be welcomed or be allowed to feel comfortable in a New Testament Christian Church.  You can not go to their Seminary if you do not pay your tithe. You will never be in any kind of leadership role if you do not pay your tithe.  In the ntcc your Christianity is measured first and foremost by your tithing record. Is this biblical?  Of course not.  The Author of our salvation never told one person that tithing was necessary for a person to be saved.

The best advice that we could possibly give a person to help them sort all of this out, is to just keep it as simple as possible.  For instance, we know that to be saved we have to confess our sins to God, not man, and ask forgiveness.  If you confess with your mouth, The Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  This is so simple and easy, that most people think there has to be more to it.  Getting saved is the easy part; but what about staying saved?  This is where people make it difficult.  This is where people have added false doctrines and rules that make your Christian life miserable.  This is where the ntcc went overboard and created a system that goes beyond what God requires.  If you look at their broken system you will have a better understanding why they have struggled to keep good people around for so many years.  After almost 50 years of straining at gnats and swallowing camels, you can see that the ntcc gospel is not working the way that the gospel of Christ worked in the early church.  They couldn't even keep Ashmore around after Davis died.  What do they have left?  Just Kekel and Olson.  The rest are getting older and more stale as the years go by.

Why should ntcc have to add a bunch of rules to Christianity to make it palatable for the new Christian?  It's no wonder why people leave the ntcc in such large numbers.  They get a person genuinely saved; and then the first thing they teach the new Christian is to pay tithe.  Then they tell them how to dress.  Pretty soon they are telling them who they can talk to, who they can date, who they can visit, who their children can have over to their houses for birthday parties, what they can do with their spare time, what they can't do, who they can't be around, who they can't listen to and so on.  Christianity is so simple a fifth grader can understand it.  Kids are smarter than they get credit for.  Unfortunately a lot of parents manipulate their kids and influence their beliefs at an early age.  The ntcc taught that kids were a hindrance to the work of God.  We can imagine how that must have made a lot of kids feel in the ntcc.  Their parents probably regretted having them; and then they were blasted by Davis and made to feel that they were the reason that souls in their parents ministries were dying and going to hell. What a heavy burden for children to bear!  But really, lets get back to the basics so that people can understand how simple it is.  Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. How hard can that possibly be?

If you are struggling with all the junk you were taught in the ntcc, and you don't understand how you can possibly be a Christian, or if coming back to God seems like a daunting task or decision that you will never be able to make, please don't feel like you are alone on an island by yourself.  I was there for 14 years.  I allowed these ntcc thugs to convince me that if I left their church, I would be lost forever.  That couldn't be further from the truth.  God never stopped loving me, and He'll never stop loving you.  They can corrupt your mind, your attitude and your testimony, but they can't stop God from loving you.  You have to believe that God still cares about you before this barrier can be broken down.  That was a revelation to me.  I was so convinced that I had used up all of God's grace and I blamed myself for every inexplicable thing that ever happened in my life that I thought my situation was hopeless.  But that's not how God saw the situation or me.  God is love.  So it's all about love, people. It's not about what you wear.  It's not about eating your food with your fingers or a fork.  It's not about wearing a white shirt, a paisley tie and a pair of wing tips.  It's not about knocking on thousands of doors to try to find someone as gullible as you that will keep a bunch of man made rules and subject themselves and their families to cult doctrine.  It's not about love bombing people and feeding them "free meals" to get their tithe.  It all comes down to something far more personal that nobody has a right to question and that is your personal relationship and love for the One who first loved you and died for you.

Does this mean that everything is going to be peaches and cream?  Nope it doesn't.  That's where faith comes into play.  You can't see God; but you believe that He's real; and you do your best to live for Him.  That's all you can do. It might not be good enough for Davis or Kekel; but when you have done the best you can do, what more can be asked of you?  We all fall short; and anyone who tells you that they can't remember the last time they sinned is lying to you.  If we get knocked down, we get back up again. That's faith. None of what I'm saying is ground breaking or earth shattering.  Christians have been living by faith since Jesus died.  If anyone tries to convince you that there is any other way to live for God other than faith and love, don't be so quick to jump on their bandwagon. We really want people to succeed in Christianity; but your salvation is yours.  It's a gift from God; and it's a wonderful gift.  Nobody can take it away from you. Nobody can stop God from loving you.  They can only get into your head and make you think that God doesn't care about you any more. They can only make you think that you are without hope.  Why would anyone want to do that?  Who would want that?  satan.

You can call me a dummy when it comes to Christianity.  I make my share of mistakes.  I definitely don't have to go back that far to remember the last time I sinned.  I'll take the dumbed down version any day over the confusing double standard version that the ntcc teaches.  It's no wonder people are totally confused and perplexed about God.  Keep it simple like Christ did.

"And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Mat 18:2-3

You don't have to be a bible scholar or a rocket scientist to be a Christian.

"God chose the foolish things of this world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;"
1 Cor 1:27

Who are the ones who God calls?

"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:" 1 Cor 1:26

Do you think God intended for Christianity to be difficult?  We don't.  We think that people make it difficult.  If people are making it difficult for you, perhaps you need to cut them out of your life so they can no longer interfere with your relationship with God.  They are either for you or against you and if they are making it more difficult for you to live for God, it's not worth having them in your life.
