Matt and Debbie Reed Have Left ntcc for GOOD! And They Still Serve and Love God! Amazing!

My NTCC Org Experience: Debbie and Matt Reed were given Puka Shell necklaces which and posed for a pic. When NTCC used this pic in their rag, The Trumpet, NTCC edited the pic, removing the necklaces. LAME.
 While missionaries with NTCC
Debbie and Matt Reed were given
 some Puka Shell necklaces.
 When NTCC used their picture
in their rag, The Trumpet, the
 NTCC removed the necklaces.
 That's lame -- and hypocritical.
If Davis and others could wear
 Diamond Pinky Rings like pimps,
 and Ashmore could wear flashy
 cufflinks, what's the problem
 with some simple necklaces?

FLOWER CHILDREN?  MATT and DEBBIE REED?

Matt and Deb Reed have fired up their blog again and they can be found blogging at:

http://www.onelessstone.blogspot.com/

It's great to have another voice of reason to testify of the blessings of God that can be experienced outside of the ntcc. Many people struggle with the transition of leaving the ntcc; and it's expected that making the life changing step to leave the ntcc is never an easy decision.  The fact that the Reeds made this transition and are sharing their experiences is a testimony:  There is salvation outside of the ntcc! Not only do they testify that there is life beyond the ntcc; but they also speak of the increase of God's blessings upon their lives; which seems to be the theme among many X-ers. When we let go of the legalism and control policies we find freedom and peace in our hearts, greater finances, and improvement in every area of our lives.
The Reed's blog is a great place to visit and has their personality written all over it; as you can see from the recent picture they posted:  "It's All About The Love".  More of their heart is revealed in a moving post titled "We Will Never Forget" dedicated to a very good man named SSgt. Daniel Morris.  He gave his life for the freedom and prosperity that we enjoy in this great country we live in.  We never knew the man; but we offer our condolences to the ones he loved and to those that loved him as a son that they never had [read more here].  We also share the same scripture inscribed on SSgt. Daniel Morris' Memorial:

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13) here

Jesus called his disciples and followers "friends". I can say, being with the Reeds at a time when I needed a change of pace, that they were and always will be friends! The ntcc did not treat them or any of their disciples as friends; but they controlled us for reasons of power and financial gain. This is and was unthinkable to us. We had real salvation and experienced a reality in God; but in our innocence we were very easy to influence and manipulate. The ntcc used us, taking advantage of our innocence, manipulating us for the financial gain of a select few, "that bunch" in Graham, Washington. We thank God for everyone that escapes from the ntcc and especially those that maintain their walk with God despite ntcc abuse!

Japan's Nuclear Crisis: Update

Additional footage of tsunami damage:

Also:

The fight continued in the desperate struggle to contain Japan's Fukushima damaged nuclear reactors.  Though posted to YouTube today, 3-23-11, the video camera date appears to be 3-18-11.

Today a new video on Russia Today broadcast out of Tokyo suggests that all emergency personnel have been evacuated from the reactor site:

Of course the government and media want to portray calm and normalcy.  But the radiation is there.

Also  note that both these videos show what appear to be swing arms or booms from concrete "pumper" trucks, suggesting that the Japanese are imitating the Chernobyl solution of burying the site in sand and concrete.

These desperate measures came after the government aborted the water cooling measures using helicopters to dump seawater on the buildings. Though the crews' efforts were courageous and too costly, exposing themselves to toxic radiation, the cumulative effect was similar to spitting on a raging bonfire:

The last ten or so seconds of the YouTube video (above) show the extensive structural damage to the reactor building which used to look like this:

Letters From the Past

While assigned to the 3rd MI Battalion in Camp Humphries Korea, I received this Letter from Mom and Pop Gaylord dated March 1, 1989.

Dear Brother,

Greetings in the Wonderful name of Jesus! He is truly wonderful.

Thank you for your letter. We were glad to hear from you and was glad for the time we were with you in Korea. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Marie is here for Bible School and it was good to see her again. She talked to Pop and I about your plans. Marie and Pop talked to brother Davis about going back over there and getting married, and working with Bro. Barnes in a Servicemen's Home. Bro. Davis didn't approve of her going back over there for that reason, because Bro. Barnes will be leaving in about six months, and he wouldn't want him to start a Servicemen's Home, as he doesn't have anyone to replace him. We are really short of trained people.

Bro. Davis told Marie she could go to Bible School if she wanted to but we don't know if she is enrolled yet or not. We haven't seen her since Sun. night as there haven't been any services. We'll see her tomorrow night.

As far as you and her getting married, Bro. Davis, Bro. Barnes nor Pop have nothing to say about you and Marie marrying; that is between you and her and the Lord.

Pop put in a good recommendation for you to go to Bible School but it is wholly up to Bro. Davis who enrolls.

You pray, and before it is time for you to reenlist or get out, contact Bro. Davis and let him know your desires. God knows.

Write us whenever you want. God Bless you.

Love + prayers

I came across this and many other gems while going through all my stuff. After reading this letter, it really verified that I had been in a cult for many years. If a normal person, (one that hadn't been brainwashed by the ntcc) had read this letter, there would be all kinds of red flags going up. Cult Alert, Cult Alert!!!!! This may seem like normal everyday life to a cult member, but it is anything but normal if you are the one on the receiving end of the ntcc's manipulation. This is just one out of 3 times that I was done wrong by the ntcc, and it's cult leadership in regards to relationships. If you ever wonder why I emphasize the "Celibacy Policy" this and other instances of relationship manipulation may clue you into the reason why. I am going to break this letter down to make it plain and simple for others to see why we expose the ntcc daily for being a cult; and you can decide for yourself who is right.

This letter is in response to a letter that I wrote to Mom and Pop after meeting Marie in Korea and discussing marriage with her. We wanted to marry in Korea; but she, like others, was "Called" to go to the New Testament Christian Seminary in Graham, WA. Since she could not disobey her "calling" she decided to go to bible school and return to Korea as soon as possible so we could get married. She thought she could get a some time in training and return as a worker to Korea and help build a Servicemen's Home and Church in Korea. We are not going to mention Marie's last name because it is not my intention to invade her privacy. She did nothing wrong in this debacle. To place this in its proper perspective we have to mention that Marie had spoken to her pastor first in Korea; and he discouraged us getting married; because of the ntcc's strict celibacy policy.

"Marie is here for Bible School and it was good to see her again. She talked to Pop and I about your plans. Marie and Pop talked to brother Davis about going back over there and getting married, and working with Bro. Barnes in a Servicemen's Home." - Here we have a woman in the ntcc that wants to get married and Mom and Pop in the middle trying to help me. Pop actually talked with rwd and Marie to try to work something out but; rwd was not interested in our desires at the time.

Bro. Davis didn't approve of her going back over there for that reason - I wonder if davis, the man that "never missed the Holy Ghost", prayed about this decision; or if he just thought that he was so cozy with God that he didn't need to pray about this? It's okay to manipulate people if you are a cult leader. There is no forethought that goes into the decision making process when other people's lives are involved.

"Bro. Davis didn't approve of her going back over there for that reason, because Bro. Barnes will be leaving in about six months, and he wouldn't want him to start a Servicemen's Home, as he doesn't have anyone to replace him. We are really short of trained people." - That's a convenient excuse considering that Barnes DID start a Servicemen's Home there with my help. And we had four brothers living in the home when, a few short months later, the Wrights were on their way over to take over this work. I was under the impression that rwd "never missed God"; but I guess here we have an example of one of those rare occasions where rwd missed God! Unless you consider him to be a cult leader... then you would have to concede that none of this mess had anything to do with God!

As far as you and her getting married, Bro. Davis, Bro. Barnes nor Pop have nothing to say about you and Marie marryinig; that is between you and her and the Lord. - Standard cult jargon or a disclaimer to release the ntcc from any responsibility of destroying a relationship. If you think that this statement is true, than I have some swamp land on Pikes Peak I'd like to sell you. Davis had a lot to say about it. Do you think that if Marie had disregarded his advice and came back to Korea to marry me that everything would have been hunky dory between Marie and rwd? She was to be farmed out to a preacher.
Meanwhile, I was back in Korea working my tail off trying to get a servicemen's home started. We had a servicemen's home started before the Wrights even got over there. I helped build it (by filling it with tithe and home offering payers) and we had four people living in it before it was taken over.

Pop put in a good recommendation for you to go to Bible School but it is wholly up to Bro. Davis who enrolls.

You pray, and before it is time for you to reenlist or get out, contact Bro. Davis and let him know your desires. God knows. - Much has been said about my reasons for not going to bible school but in the end, I am glad that I never went. If Mom and Pop couldn't influence rwd to allow me to go to bs than it just wasn't meant to happen. I've had losers from the ntcc come on my face book page and tell me that I didn't go because I wanted to stay in the Army. Well guess what? When I came up for re-enlistment, rodger wilson davis was in Colorado Springs destroying another relationship that I was involved in. At the time I was in love with one lady, Angela; and I asked rwd if I could attend bible school and was shot down, and told how much God could use me in the military. I was an E-6 with 7 years in service. She however was encouraged to leave our relationship and go to bs to become an unaccredited preacher's wife. You be the judge. Is there a difference in being encouraged and being told or manipulated? Is there a difference in disobeying an admonishment from the Cult Leader or disobeying a direct order from the so called "man of God"?

Is there any doubt that the ntcc is a cult? Does all this seem like normal behavior for a normal church and it's normal leaders? Does any of this seem Christlike? The bible says, "Forbid not to marry". Once again davis's actions put him on the wrong side of the word of God.

Why Women Should Leave or Avoid NTCC. Thanks, Jeff, for this topic!

Another NTCC Damsel In Duress. New Testament Christian Church Women and Children are often needlessly "pressed out of measure".
 Another NTCC
 damsel in duress
Woman Screaming Video Link

**Duress is defined as:
Unlawful pressure exerted upon a person to coerce that person to perform an act that he or she ordinarily would not perform. Duress also encompasses the same harm, threats, or restraint exercised upon the affected individual's spouse, child, or parent. Duress is distinguishable from Undue Influence, a concept employed in the law of wills, in that the latter term involves a wrongdoer who is a fiduciary, one who occupies a position of trust and confidence in regard to the testator, the creator of the will. Duress also exists where a person is coerced by the wrongful conduct or threat of another to enter into a contract under circumstances that deprive the individual of his or her volition. As a defense to a civil action, the federal Rules of Civil Procedure require that duress be pleaded affirmatively. Except with respect to Homicide, a person who is compelled to commit a crime by an unlawful threat from another person to injure him, her, or a third person, will generally not be held responsible for its commission.

On a previous thread called, Life Is Good, on Jeff's blog, New Testament Christian Church, The Real Story, Jeff made the following comment about life outside the church behind the fence, now that his family, and especially his daughter, is free from the NTCC and the NTCC expectations on women:

Jeff said, ...
Now I live a good life with the best job I've ever had and nice country house that is peaceful and quiet and a great school system that my children attend. My daughter is getting ready to go to one of the best colleges in the nation. She has already been accepted. Life is good outside the NTCC and I'm not just saying that. If everything works out, my daugher may wind up with a "REAL" doctorate degree from one of the best colleges in the nation and she will do a whole lot to help people if she achieves her goals.

Here are a few things she won't be doing. She won't be allowing Verna's match making service to choose a husband for her. She won't be shopping at every thrift store in the nation to buy someone elses used clothing. She won't be cleaning Tanya Kekels home. She won't be marrying a dude who is broke because he gives all his money to the NTCC. She won't be disowning us because we are no longer a part of the NTCC. She won't be moving from state to state everytime RWD wakes up on the wrong side of the bed. She won't be looking for a job at walmart when she's 60 because she is no longer with a dude who spent his whole life in the NTCC and either left her or died with little or nothing. She will be in a possition to be able to take care of herself. The NTCCs plan for women is a fast road to failure. ... unless your name is Tanya.

This is what we love about Jeff's writing.  He shoots straight, aims for the obvious, and has a really tight shot group:  BULLSEYE!

There's just one more thing we can add to this:  Jeff's daughter won't be getting groped, kissed, or even 'dated' by some dude who is nine or more years older than she is when she is only 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, or even 16 years old.

So happy for Jeff's daughter to be spared those diabolically inevitable experiences that happen to other NTCC girls!

What will happen to your daughter?  Why?

ONE LAW FOR YOU AND THE STRANGER...

In 1215 the English barons instituted something called Magna Carta.

Amoungst other things this revolutionary statute required the King to be held to the same standard of law as his subjects. To the subjects of England this was an amazing and novel concept.

But God had them beat. Let's look at the fourth book of Moses, Numbers 15:15-16:

One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are so shall the stranger be before the LORD.-(v15)

One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.-(v16)
These verses are significant showing us the heart of God--that there is no respect of persons. All are equal in the sight of God. And there should be only one set of rules for all.

That seems so simple. Right is right. If it is right for one, it is right for all. Sounds like the Three Musketeers.c But truly, God has something for everyone. But He expects us to all play by the same rules.

Why bring this out? Because in the cult of New Testament Christian Churches of America (ntcc) there are definitely different rules for different people. That is contrary to the heart of God and the opposite of what God requires of us. God expects us all to play by the same rule:

THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF.
ntcc loves only some. And they view all others as slaves to do their work for them, without recompense. Lower eschelon peons seemingly exist for the sole purpose of enriching their 'leaders' whether by money, gifts, free services, sacrifice, recruiting fresh suckers, or by providing entertainment through their pain and suffering. The list goes on and on.

Babysitting. House cleaning. Shopping. Installing electrical wiring and cable and computer internet wiring etc. Landscaping. Car washing. RV washing. Automotive repairs. Car waxing. Shoe shining. Gardening. Pet care. Chauffeuring. Guard duty (House sitting on steroids). Mail pick-up. Dry cleaning drop off and pick-up. Valet parking. Church cleaning. Classroom cleaning. Bathroom cleaning. Laundry washing, drying, folding, and ironing.

Did we forget any?

Over the years the New Testament Christian Church 'leaders' have perfected a system of culling fresh recruits to do all menial labor for the 'leaders' often for no compensation. And if there is a monetary compensation it is meager.

Truly the 'leaders' of this cult have perfected that old con of suckering the other guy into thinking he wants to do their work for them without them ever paying him for all his hard work.

That is not what Jesus would do.

Jesus led by example.  He led a life of sacrifice.  He gave His life for us.  He led by doing what He wants us to do.

ntcc leaders live lives of greed, coveteousness, and selfishness.  They take people's lives from them and offer nothing in return but grief.  If you follow ntcc 'leaders' examples, you will not be serving God; but you will serve self and satan just like the ntcc 'leaders' do.

They put you down in every conference.  They mock your poverty while demanding you give more.  They require you to live a life of sacrifice while they get richer off of your sacrifice.  They are scribes, Pharisees, and hypocrites who "say and do not".  All talk.  No walk.

God wants one law, one set of rules.  If ntcc can't practice what they preach, they should stop preaching or start practicing.  Otherwise they are phonies with two sets of rules, two sets of scales, two laws, two faced hypocrites.

God said ONE LAW.   Practice what you preach or you are a two-faced hypocrite.

Ain't God Good?

Greetings X-ers.  Ange and I have settled down and got our first house together.  I took a local job in a very nice area that pays more than some engineers make.  We moved into a great neighborhood in the nicest house either one of us have ever lived in.  Instead of driving over the road and spending our lives at truck stops and hotels, we are within a couple miles of where I work and will be home every night and on weekends.  We thank God for providing for us and we will be back on the blogs when we get organized.

We are not bragging or trying to say look at us, but we want folks to know that God is good to X-ers also.  If we had stayed in the ntcc, we would now have almost 50 years combined time in the ntcc and nothing to show for it.  The Fat cats in Washington would be living off of the spoils and we'd be somewhere eeking out a living and converting others into a cult so they could be miserable all of their lives.  After about 7 months of marriage we are living the way God intended for us to live and our lives are more of a testimony to others of how great God can be, than if we were living in a cold water roach infested flat screaming at people from the pulpit that they aren't giving enough money to the program of God.

WE ARE WINNING!!!!!!!
